Rewards Program Terms and Conditions

Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Loved the material, but poor fitI loved the material of these shorts and how they fit in the waist, however they were really tight in the thighs and created a weird pleating around the crotch. I am 5'7", 135 pounds with a muscular build and ordered a size 6 (my usual size). It's a shame because I want to return these shorts and order a size up, but know they will be big in the waist if I size up.

Heavy duty, Great fit/ length, Ordered moreI've had precious seasons and same great heavy material but not so thick it doesn't move. Love the style and length -not too short or too long - so ordered more. True to fit. Flint is like a gray but on the green side.

Cute and durableThese shorts are great for climbing in the summer. A lot of my shorts have torn while climbing on granite, but not these. The only con is the weird pockets. I can't really fit my phone in the back pockets - or anything really. Though, I liked them enough that I bought them in another color. These shorts now have a soft spot in my heart because one of the first things my Mom said when she woke up one day in the ICU was, "Cute shorts, Joanie," then later said, "tell me about those shorts." So, thank you OR.

Comfy and durableI got my first pair of Wadi Rums in 2020, only the second time I had purchased shorts in 20 years, and am thinking about a second pair. I love these shorts because they are a little heavier material, which makes them feel durable and capable of holding up while I'm scrambling around on hikes or if I wear them climbing. The gusseted crotch makes them super flexible and the length provides just the right amount of coverage for outdoor activities, but also allows your legs to get plenty of air. I love that the pockets are actually big enough to put a phone or wallet in on casual days when you don't want/need to carry around a bag. Since other reviews mention fit as an issue, I'll add that I am 5'4" and 125 lbs. I'm pretty lean, not very curvy, and do not have particularly muscular thighs. I w fluctuate between a 2 and 4 depending on brand for pants. With the Wadi Rums I wear a 4.

Durability tested!These shorts are great for outdoor activities. They are rugged enough for scrambling, sliding, and sweating. The pockets are satisfyingly deep. I've run them through the wringer, and they come out looking new in the wash every time. I found them to fit perfectly. I have a fairly straight build, so they may not work if you are curvier.

Awkward shape, not small person friendly.Not sure why they don't offer a size zero in these but I took a chance and got the size 2, they were super baggy in the legs and waist and kind of fit my butt, definitely baggy there as well. Had a drawstring but constantly slid down. The images online are of a woman with super muscular legs so I guess you need to have a booty and thighs to wear these. Also the belt loops are massive, you would need a three inch or so belt to fill them. When I put my two inch leather belt through them it slid up over the top of the shorts because the loops are so huge and looked terrible. Bummer cause they're cute in theory.

A bit awkward fittingI was very excited for these shorts since I usually don't have any issues with OR's sizing, but I was pretty sad when I tried these on. I usually wear a size 0-2 in most things, but I typically size up to a 4 in shorts because I have a more athletic build and don't like things being too tight around the thighs. The 4 in these shorts is supppperr tight around the thighs and hips, but there's like a 2 inch loose gap around the waist... Super weird and just not very female-build friendly. The drawcord in the waistline helps with the gap a little bit, but the rest of the shorts are still just too tight to do anything athletic in. I bought these to replace my old, designated backpacking and climbing shorts, but these will definitely not be leaving town (lol).
