Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

OR Revel Shell Mitt - buy it!These mitts are an ideal outer shell for during inclement or cold weather. I bought one size larger than my glove size to accommodate my fleece gloves that I wear underneath in cold weather. The palm material is flexible, textured, and just the right thickness for durability. The dual adjustment straps at the wrist and forearms cinch to your desired tightness prohibiting them from slipping off. There is also a removable safety cord (a leash) to attach to a sleeve in the event you frequently take them on and off. I find the loop attached to the wrist extremely efficient for pulling the mitt all the way on. These will always go with me on my foul weather adventures.

Magic GlovesStoked that I got these. It's a little warm to try them out yet, but I've had similar items from OR and I'm mostly impressed with the price for what I know is a quality product. Best bang for the buck right here!

Water resistant, not waterproofI bought these mitts to use over my gloves when ski patrolling and digging dog holes. They definitely kept my gloves drier than if I didn't use them, but are not waterproof. I will continue to use them to reduce the number of pairs of gloves I soak through in a day.

Perfect shell mitten. This is exactly what I was looking for--a thin, windproof, packable, outer shell to wear over wool gloves on long runs in the winter. They are keeping my hands MUCH warmer than gloves alone, and when it's particularly frigid, I'll stuff a HotHands handwarmer in each to help keep my fingers warm. When I don't need them anymore (Colorado weather changes rapidly), I'll stash them in my running vest or jacket pocket.

Perfect, versatile gloveThe primary reason I bought these mittens was to go over my OR heated gloves (the style I bought aren't waterproof). They are awesome and work perfectly in that mode. I also use them to cover liner gloves when I'm running or XC skiing in the winter. They provide great wind and water protection. I have raynauds, so it's hard to find gloves/mitts that keep me warm and that I can also use when I'm working up a sweat. These with or without the heated gloves depending on what I'm doing are five stars all day.

I will buy more of these soon!I have only used these 3 times during a backpack trip so far, they will come into a heavier rotation this winter. I have had some vintage light OR Gore-Tex shells for over a decade. They are an essential part of my kit to pull over gloves or mittens when it gets windy or wet but they were delicate with a woven nylon fabric in the palms. As they started to wear through I bought these to keep in my SAR 24 hr pack and they are much more robust without being any heavier. I may pick up a few more pairs to be sure i have them whenever the wind blows which is does quite a lot here in the Wind River Mtns.I find them absolutely essential as hands get damp from sweat even when its -40 F out and then the wind makes its way through even windstopper gloves. When its truly cold I may stick a hand warmer pack inside, I have some double knit wool mitts that cna also fit under if the gloves aren't' enough.

Why are all my mittens OR?It's totally by chance but I've found that all my mittens are OR. I bought these Revel Shell Mitts to replace an old pair of OR gore-tex overmitts that started fraying at the thumb hinge and one of the elastic cords broke (after many years of use). I use these Revel Shell Mitts all winter long for BC XC skiing and snowshoeing over a pair of OR Sensor Mitts. I also have a pair of OR Meteor Mitts. I often carry all three pairs in the winter, using the Sensors as my base layer for both pairs of outer mitts (I don't use the fleece liners that came with the Meteors because that liner cuff doesn't fit under my jacket cuff). If it's real cold (20 below up to maybe zero) I'll start with Sensor Meteor. If my hands warm up with the exercise, I'll switch to Sensor Revel. On warmer days (teens and up), depending on wind, I'll start with Sensor Revel, and when I heat up I remove the Revels. The Revels are nice and light, very packable. My main reason for owning them is to cut the wind and add warmth to my Sensor mitts in the winter. I have not used these in summer/for rain. They do seem a little pricey, but the gauntlet-cinching cord as very well designed and all the seams are taped, so it seems the quality is very good. I would like a tad more air space in the thumb to help prevent cold thumbs, but it's OK.

Too small for warm linerI thought I’d be able to wear a thick liner needed for long periods in sub zero temps but there isn’t enough room. The gauntlet is too short to pull over the cuff of my mountain parka. Otherwise this is a good quality garnet. I like the materials and other features.
When measuring, do you measure your hand wearing the glove you intend to wear inside the shell?
Asked by: Lester
Great question! You would still measure your hand without the glove on :)
*Measure around a flat hand at the knuckles, do not include your thumb. Also measure your hand length from the base of your palm to the end of your middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your glove size.
