Rated 5 out of 5 by Corey from VooDoo line for pants and shorts cannot be beat Although I am a bit short so the shorts come about mid knee, you simply cannot beat the material and quality. I have travelled all over Africa and SE Asia working in the bush in these shorts and pants, they hold up and rarely can be stained. Go from field to dinner and still look nice.

I am a long-time buyer of OR products and I have always appreciated the quality that goes into their products. These shorts are no exception. Solid quality, very good construction, and very close attention to detail. I really wish I could have kept these shorts. Sadly, these shorts fit very oddly. Just as many of the other reviews had stated, OR must have changed the model for the construction of these shorts. I have always worn a size 36x32 and have several pairs of pants by OR. While I have gained about 15-20 llbs over the past year, my ferrosi pants, size 32, still fit almost perfectly, just a little tighter in the waist. These shorts, however, were difficult to button at the waist, and, more importantly, I couldn't wear them comfortably because they squeezed my hips and had no space in the crotch. For reference, I have a big runner's butt and most of my pants, in general, wear a little on the tight side around my butt/hips area. These shorts, however, even with the great stretch, I could barely get on, let alone wear for a whole day or longer. I tried these on twice in two days and repackaged them and sent them back. Once I've lost some of my COVID weight, I'll retry these shorts, but I sincerely hope OR fixes how tight they are in the hips/crotch because I'm not sure losing a little weight is going to free up that much space in the hips/crotch region. I would recommend to a friend, as long as you are super skinny and don't have a big butt/hips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JCM from Comfortable in the wild and around town Last minute add to my OR order because there aren't many "in between" sizes (35 in my case) but now my "go to" shorts. Fits snug but not tight, with really nice four way stretch. Coupled with the gusseted crotch that reduces...ummm...binding it's built for almost any outdoor activity but good looking and long enough to pair with a polo shirt or button down for a dressier look. The nylon and spandex adds to the light weight and breathability but does lend itself to a slight "swish" sound if that bothers you. Love them and now ordered two pair as my daily wear outdoors and around town!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hayden from Good light short for summer. I am 5'08" 150 lbs thin build. I usually order a 31/32 to accommodate my concealed carry. I opted for the 32 in these pants based on the reviews saying to order a size up. I found the the bottom of the legs to be very snug on my quads and the waist to be extra loose. The only con to these pants are the bizarre sizing. I love the fabric and light weight feel.
