Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh I wanted to like this jacket but just didn't. I found the fit to be strange, and I like the fit of my several other OR jackets. It was tight in the upper chest and neck. The front of the jacket is significantly shorter, so the length measurement may be a little misleading. It made it so even my shorter shirts poked out the front-bottom. The materials are light, but didn't really stretch and move with you much. It was a little difficult to wear casually, as the neck design flops open if not zipped high enough. The fill is also a little too light... I don't see it having much of a place in a layering system. Uncomfortable to layer with (poor neck fit, hunchback from the hood, hard to vent heat, long tail but short front) but not enough fill to be worn in cold temps by itself, and too tight to add much underneath. It's a bit more a stand alone niche piece. I'm 6'2" and 165lbs with a 40" chest and 32" waist and got the medium.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light weight and very packable! I bought this a month ago and have a few initial impressions. Pros: It is super light weight and very packable. I love when a jacket is packable and super warm. It’s like the perfect storm. Pocket on the chest is awesome! The hood cinches down around the face and helps insulate in a heavy wind. Cons: The natural down sheds quite a bit. this is expected but it has happened more than I initially thought. All in all I love the jacket and it is great for backpacking or standing at the base of a crag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use the thing for everything. This thing has rarely left my side since I got it. It has been great for layering with a shell to stay dry or just cozy to hang out in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great go-to Insulation Layer I have used this a couple times while Split Touring, primarily for transitions from uphill to downhill (and vice versa) to prevent too much heat loss. It works like a charm. Has kept me warm during transitions without getting over heated. I have also been using this daily as an insulation layer for commuting to and from work during the winter months in the PNW. Keeps me at a great temperature unless I am running for a bus or if it starts to get too warm outside (i.e., above 55 or 60F). Love that there is a Zipper chest pocket. The inside pocket can come in handy too. Main zipper seems to be sturdy, but not sure about the hand pocket zippers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great UL down piece A great UL piece that provides just enough when moving fast and light, or layering in colder climates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect to insulating layer I bought this jacket to be an extra insulating layer on super cold northeast days while ice climbing. When its -20 and I'm on a northeast classic my soft shell doesn't quite cut it, but Climbing in my puffy is still too warm. This jacket perfectly fits under my soft shell and regulate gives me that extra warmth to keep me amped. I've also worn this thing without a soft shell on milder days for alpine touring, the inside pockets hold skins perfectly allowing for lap after lap with no blown skins.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I tend to run warm and have always been reluctant to try a full down anything. This one is so light and thin that I figured it would make a good one for moving around camp and even sleeping in on very cold nights. It is impressively warm!! I can't wear it if I know I am going to be active at all but as I say, I run warm. I find it very comfortable to be out, with very little activity, in cold (for the PAC NW) dry weather. -5 to 5c. Fits great, looks great, extends that patio seasons for sure!! Another hit from OR!!
