Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Highly breathable and feature richThis jacket is everything it is said to be. Fit is a bit trim at on the hips, but that's how most OR gear is on me. Been out in variable weather from 20 deg and snowing to 40 deg and light rain on the slopes, and it has kept me dry and comfortable the whole time. Love the pockets and features as well.

Breathable sure. But that's all.Finally have some days in with this shell I got around Christmas 2022. Not impressed. I'll try to give some fit and observation detail below. Great shell for bluebird days...but that's it. I'm an athletic build at 5'11" around 185-190 pounds and not small nor huge and wouldnt say I have a barrelled chest but do have some broad shoulders. Ordered a large based on reviews since I couldnt find it anywhere to try on but this is how it fits me. Shoulders are narrow across the back but sleeve have good volume. The chest has ample volume but the waist is super slim on me and I wear a 33 in Levi's for example. Slim enough where it's not really great for layering a synthetic puffer under. At least for me and I'm not a thick guy. I'll give good scores on the hood coverage with helmet though. Now the dirty. It gets wet...and fast. Now, you'll say "it's not a rain jacket" and yes...I'll agree. But this shell will not handle backcountry touring use in most place with exception to the arid west. If the sky is falling and you're in the Sierra, Cascades, Northeast you will be wet and better keep moving, a lot, because it's going to stay wet until the sky stops falling. Really wished I could have liked the Skytour Ascent Shell more but it's still hanging in my bathroom drying from a mixed precip day at Kirkwood. Will continue to use in weather dependent slogs up and down the hill but in my opinion isnt what it was designed for. Will give it some credit for stretch but when a wet storm rolls in you will wish you had something else.

This is worth every penny!I was just about to give up trying to find a shell to replace a 12 year old jacket. I was walking out of the store when I spotted this. Love at first sight and more love, when I tried it on! I've been out with it twice: once in very heavy rain and once in cold, windy conditions. It is so comfortable, quiet, and weatherproof. Highly recommended.

Awesome shellIn short: 6'1" 175lbs 39inch chest, Medium fits perfectly and allows for a chunkier midweight (Pat NanoAir) to fit underneath comfortably. Breathes fantastic even with vents closed, lots of pockets, and good stretch. Insanely comfortable. Longer review: Was able to use the jacket on the spring season on Mt.Hood this year. We were fortunate enough to get a ton of snow, and great temps. Being the spring I was able to use this in cold and warm temps, powder and slush, and calm and windy days. This shell is bombproof, breathes extremely well, and has great features. To give an idea of the breathability a member in our ski group found themselves with a broken arm in the woods, the adrenaline spike and stress of getting them out safely will heat up the body. I was comfortable throughout the whole ordeal opening up the massive vents under the arms only when we arrived inside the ski patrol office. Whether skiing through spicy tree runs, skiing in the warmer spring temps, or helping out a friend with a broken arm this jacket will keep your heat controlled leaving you much more comfortable. While I am still making my way to the world of touring, this jacket will find its place nicely in that realm too. I also own the skytour bibs which are absolutely fantastic and really comfortable.

Returned due to stiff collarI'm sure it would have been functional. But it had a very stiff and large collar that looked terrible. Couldn't see myself wearing it. Reminded me of the outfits that the Guild wore in the first Dune movie made back in the 1980s.

Great jacket, one complaint about the internal pocketThis is overall a great jacket for backcountry skiing, I agree with most of the excellent reviews. I had the previous version (Skyward II) in medium. I always felt it was too tight in the shoulders, but the new version (Skytour) seems to fit better. My only complaint is that in the old version there were 2 internal dump pockets for stashing skins inside the jacket on the descent. For some reason this version only has 1 dump pocket. Why? AND they moved it lower so that it interferes with a pack belt. 2 internal pockets was a must for me so that I eliminated other jackets that didn't have them.. I didn't notice in the specs that they eliminated one in this version. Satisfied overall, but unsatisfied with this change.
