Rated 5 out of 5 by from 98% good 2% bad Super comfortable pants with for stretch. I wish it was a tad longer just because it "feels" to short but longer might be a hinder when hiking. Also super tiny pockets

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent lightweight climbing pants I bought these pants to rock climb in and they are a great product for it, especially in hot, humid weather. I climbed in them 5 times over two weeks, and the temperatures were in the 90-100 range and I was very well protected from the sun. I ordered two pairs, a 34 and 32, and returned the 34 to get a 30 as they seem to be sized larger than normal pants. Very pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Longer length makes more sense, need deeper pockets Previously wrote a review about the odd inseam length, which I still feel they're long for a standard 32" inseam (I'm 6'0"/183cm), but wanted to provide update after using for a week of hiking in and around the Kootenays in Nelson, BC in wet, warm, snowy and cool conditions. The length actually works pretty well when wearing hiking shoes as the water-resistant material covers your shoe pretty well to keep rain/water from getting in, especially when using the cinch cords around the ankles. You can climb, scramble without having to worry about the pants riding up and rain or wet getting in your shoes. On that note, they are also very water-resistant. Light rain and flurries bead up well on the material and it is very wind-resistant to boot. Impressive for such a lightweight synthetic material. We were climbing Toad Mountain (7200'/2200m) and got caught in light rain and snow flurries. Didn't need long underwear because the pants kept me dry (I also run warm). We also hiked the Kokanee Glacier in pretty heavy rain and these pants kept me dry. Very impressive. As previously mentioned in other reviews, the front pockets are too shallow for a plus-sized phone. The side zip works, but is inconvenient because you either have a phone banging against your leg while hiking/climbing or risk slipping or falling on phone and damaging it. The Ferrosi shorts have much deeper pockets and I would apply the same design to the pants. Overall, these are solid pants and I would recommend. Upgrading to 4 stars due to some of the issues which can be improved above.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort armor for your legs For 16 of paddling in the Grand Canyon I lived in these pants. Hiding my legs from the death star, aka the sun, became an almost enjoyable experience while I floated through the grandeur of the canyon. I put these pants through about as much wear as a normal person would put out in a decade. During side hikes where I crawled over boulder and slide down rocks I never once worried about wearing down these pants. Truly full coverage, durable, without sacrificing comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome outdoor everything pants The Ferrosi pants are amazing! They are better than any other type of hiking/outdoor pants I have ever used before. Water falls right off them when moving through underbrush and they are durable enough to scrape against rock or get caught on branches without any concern for tearing. I've used them on a few backpacking trips so far and have been stoked with their performance. They are light, warm, and breathable. I am 6' 3" and got the long size and they fit perfectly. The only downside I've found is the front pockets seem too small for my liking. I wish they were deeper to fit items more securely. Other than that they are fantastic and I am sure I'll be happy to have them for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from buy these now! I've been using these pants for a few years now and have nearly every color. I travel a lot for work and they are great pants for long flights that also allow a good look for the business lounges. These pants also pack very well and wrinkles fall out quick. My work takes me to very hot and humid remote jungles and these pants perform great. Additionally, I'm often times in a confined space such as a helicopter. When we get a short notice overnight night mission I always have a pair of these pants in my grab bag because they compress and pack up so well. When I'm home in Idaho I wear these hiking, climbing, hunting, fishing, dinner parties, etc etc. Even in the winter I've worn these over base layers and they are warm enough. They fit true to size if anything they are a bit on the large side. I'm 6ft 190lb and sometimes a 34 waist can run snug in the hips and buttock but these fit really well. Plenty of stretch and room for movement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite pant I have a few Ferrosi pants(which I love), but as with the Ferrosi shorts, they all fit a little differently.
