Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Absolutely essential layerI have to be quite impressed to write a review on a product, and here we are. Flat out, this is an absolutely must pack layer, and something I find myself wearing just about daily with working outside. This is an uninsulated soft shell that breathes well while blocking the wind and keeping out a moderate amount of moisture. It's important that it breathes well so you don't overheat in the cold, and you can still wear it as a light rain jacket in the summer. I just spent 3 days in a shoot house wearing this as my outermost layer, constantly brushing up against CMU (cinder) block and brick walls, and the fabric has held up shockingly well. 10/10 for durability. Understand that this layer does not provide insulation, but rather blocks the wind and the rain, allowing your insulating layers to do their job better. It's also amazing over a base layer and a grid fleece for long movements with a ruck in cold weather. You wont overheat while moving, but it protects you from the nasty winter weather. This is an absolutely essential layer for me.

Liked it so much I bought anotherJacket is great for a day out on the wall. It's a nice light windbreaker for added warmth and keeps me dry in a drizzle. I haven't substituted it for my rain jacket in a down pour but it's a versatile lightweight breathable jacket with reinforced elbows and shoulders which makes it my go to jacket for rock climbing and hiking. I lost my first one in Austria but I liked it so much that I ended up buying another.

Great light softshellSince my purchase, I've used this jacket on ~20 day hikes of 5 - 10 miles in temps of 18 F - 40 F. With on or two layers underneath it worked well. I'm quite happy with it. One hike was under a light drizzle and it held up very well without wetting out for over 2 hours. I only had one hike where there were high winds that I would have appreciated a little more wind protection.

Some significant changes in 2022I own an older 2019 Ferossi hoodie and love it. I wear it over a t shirt when it's cool, over a fleece when it's cold, and layered under something substantial when it's frigid. I wear it in the house, in the mountains, on the bike, ice climbing, rock climbing... you get the point, it's versatile. The 2022 version disappointed. 1) I appreciate that they wanted to make it more storm worthy. The collar is much taller to cover one's mouth when fully zipped. It's a nice feature when the wind is howling at a belay, but it also makes the jacket awkward for the other 99% of the time. The old model zipped up comfortably under the chin and laid down neatly when not fully zipped. The new design is either covering your mouth or flopping around awkwardly. 2) The new design is slightly shorter. Not an issue for me as I'm between a M and L (5'10", 175lb, 42 chest, 34 waist) and the L was a great fit. 3) As mentioned by many, the wrist cuffs are, for lack of a better description, less substantial. I loved the old design with a tapered arm toward the wrist, extra length, and thumb loops. I'm not sure if they are trying to make it fit better over gloves or what, but I prefer the old design here 4) The new jacket is heavier (16oz vs 14oz for the older design in size L) even with shorter arms and body. Overall it seems that the designers were leaning toward a more storm worthy outer layer rather than a super-versatile mid/outer layer.

Well made, sharp lookingAs of Nov 7th it has not been cooler than 50 degrees in N FL so this jacket has been getting a lot of use here as well as up in Highlands NC. Impressed so far as it has proven to be very well made, resisting the abrasion of fire wood carrying and walking through the woods. Furthermore, it is a good looking jacket which is always a plus. Still paying a good bit extra for the logo on the front, but it is what it is.

Best all around 3 season coat.I own the previous version of this and there are improvements and some cons to the new design. Overall the material is amazing. Its durable and sheds light rain. It's windproof. The hood is a good size. Not too big and can fit over a hat. I like the pockets. They have good zippers and size. You can easily put a large phone in the hand pockets. The waistband can tighten up. Good smooth zipper. Great sewing quality. It has extra material at shoulders and arms. It compresses well and after unfolding the creases go away after some wearing around. It is great for spring summer fall but I prefer more for winter. They make same coat with a lining that I like for colder weather. I am 5'11" and 165lbs and a medium is a closer fit for me but not snug. Perfect with a t-shirt. Too tight with a thick longsleeve. The older version ran bigger. Style is simple casual. I wear everywhere except for fancy dress. Overall my favorite coat for everyday. Best coat I have for traveling, hiking, camping, around town. I own the black and seaweed colors. I will be buying more.

most versatile piece everI have a ridiculous amount of outerwear, and the ferrosi hoody is the one piece that never gets put away. I use it all four seasons. Incredibly strong fabric for how light and stretchy it is, sheds water very well for a light softshell, and breathes like a champ. This is my second hoody. The first one I've used for years and it looks brand new except for a stain on the back that my wife says rules it out for travel, hence the new hoody.

Sizing is differentThe Ferrosi Hoodie is GRATE for early mornings and cool summer evenings when I just need a little wind protection. The bad, the sleeves on the XXL are to long and no way to adjust them. I have owned 3 drifeent OR tops. All 3 have had difrent sizes for XXL.
