Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good...a Hiccup or Two Pretty good product. Great pricing. Have worn it twice...once for a 12 km hike in fair summer weather and once for a short 3 km in light rain. So far find the product to be true to size, comfy, lightweight, stretchy when squatting and definitely water resistant. I also had to crawl through a window to help a friend who had locked themselves out and pants showed no marking from scraping my shins along their window frame! My issues with the pants are two fold. There is only one zip cargo pocket on the right thigh...would prefer a second on the left side. Second, the cargo pocket won't fit my phone and still zip closed. I have an standard sized iPhone 13 with an Otterbox Defender. I am a bit unhappy the pocket isn't larger considering the times and phone sizes. If the phone thing isn't a dealbreaker for you would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding fit, comfort and quality I wear either a 36 or 38, so I tried the Ferrosi convertible pants in size 38. They fit perfectly. The fabric is lightweight but durable - I have put it through paces on the trail, so I know. I love that the pockets are cut so that my phone and other essentials will stay put. The one zippered side pocket is a perfect size for my iPhone 8 Plus (largest size iPhone). I couldn't be happier with these pants and look forward to using them on upcoming thru hikes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pants began to fall apart after three days I received these pants shortly before a backpacking trip. Although I was initially happy with them, a seam began to fall apart after wearing them for only three days. The seam was not subjected to any significant stress; the quality of the materials and sewing just appeared to be poor. I have gotten years of use out of similar pants from other manufacturers, so I will think twice about buying anything from OR in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super I tested out the Ferrosi convertible pants in the Italian Dolomites during a day where you got 3 seasons - hot, windy, cold, snow on the ground, etc. I am 5'6", 180 lbs with a muscular build (especially in the thighs) and got a 32" short. Pants fit just fine. Waist slightly big and length long. They are super stretchy and I didn't feel my legs sweat at all. I was very impressed with overall feel. I ended up thigh deep in snow and never got wet. I also slid down inside of caves on my butt on ice - no tear or sign of wear in the pants. The only two Cons I could think of - 1. The zipper seems to hug your knee (which is all convertible pants). Not a deal breaker. 2. The pockets are vertical on your body versus having an angle. This decreases the chances of anything falling out but makes it harder to get anything in your pocket. Again, not a deal breaker.
