Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.

Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Provide extreme flexibility, and comfortI bought this pair for a backup to a pair I currently use on all my outings in the backcountry where I live. In this part of the country, it can get extreme and in the winter time, we use snowshoes most of the time because of the steep, rugged, and forested area. Flexibility for mobility is necessary for comfortable traveling conditions. The better I feel the farther I can go.

Ice Climb PantRuns pretty large. Even in small the pants were too baggy at the feet, definitely need to use gaiters with. Otherwise great ice climbing or ski pant. Keeps the water and wind out.

The best pants for cold-weather mountain sports.I put these pants through the wringer with around 50 - 100 days of ice climbing, mountaineering, or snowboarding/splitboarding a year. By the time I'm done with a season the pants are usually out of commission with numerous rips/patches and a broken zipper or two, but then I go right back and buy another pair because of how great they are. The fabric is really durable. I've crashed dozens of times, and done numerous icy glissades and sharp bushwhacks. With how much abrasion the pants see, the rips I get in them are minimal. Also, the fit is great for those with larger thighs/seat. The excess fabric around the calf is great because I can fit it over my size 13 splitboard boots! I have no complaints. If I had to change one thing, I do wish that it was more athletically cut with a smaller waist/more waist adjustment for the sizes. I am able to cinch up the size L around my 32" waist, but that maxes out the adjustment. Great pants otherwise.

AWFUL Fit on an Otherwise Nice PantThese pants are ridiculously sized. Read the complains about 33" waists finding the Medium too tight, so I got the Large. They are 5" too long, have waaaaay too much fabric flapping around below the knee, and you have to crank the velcro belt all the way in to get the large's to fit a 34" waist. I want to like these, heard great things about them, but that's all probably for the I's and not the II's.

RIP CirqueI warranteed out a pair of OG cirques for a zipper issue and got these, which happens, but am severely regretting not just dealing with the zipper and keeping the originals. I've had many pairs of the OG's and they've all been awesome and incredibly durable. I wear a medium in the OG cirques at 6' and 185lb. Ended up returning the II's for a small, which fits in the waste, but there's so much extra fabric in the legs that I'm afraid of catching a crampon and creating a dangerous situation. I'm not a small guy, and with any other pant I have issues finding pants that are small enough in the waist but can fit my legs. Maybe I'm jaded cause of how good the OG cirques were and how dialed the fit was. In fairness the quality and workmanship were great on the 2's. I still have a pair of the originals with holes, scrapes, and ice screw pinholes that I'll ride out until the seams fall apart. I'll have to find a new brand of ice climbing and alpine soft shell pant in the immediate future, and use these cirque 2's for something without crampons on my feet, cause for that purpose they feel dangerous.

Tight fit in waistI wear a 33 waist, but the Medium was so tight that it was difficult to button. Returning.

Perfect for mountaineeringTook these up Mt Denali this past year, and they were a MUST. Absolutely phenomenal pants. No rips from wearing crampons, thanks to the durable cuffs. Very stretchy to Allow freedom of movement. Didn't bunch up under a harness and didn't have to remove the harness to do my business. Warm enough while moving, but not too hot for a temperate day. If you are planning on buying gear for an upcoming alpine trip, I highly recommend these pants. My only complaint is that they were a little long. More sizes would be nice.

Sizing is terrible!I was due for another pair of Cirque's after wearing out two pairs of the original over the last 6 years. I ordered them without even checking the size, I knew I was a small. Well, the pants arrived today and pulling them out they looked way too big! I thought I had been shipped the wrong size initially. Trying them on, they're baggy, long, and the waist is much bigger. I can't imagine the holes I'd tear into these with crampons or how fast they'd wear out stepping on them. Since there's no XS, I'll have to return these and find new soft shells which is a huge bummer, I loved the originals so much. Please fix the sizing or make an XS, Outdoor Research!
Why isn't there an option for length? According to the size chart, there should be short, medium, and long options.
Asked by: Daniel
Hi Daniel, thanks for the question! Sorry for the confusion, this size chart is the general Outdoor Research Men's Bottom sizing chart; unfortunately these particular pants are only available in the regular inseam length. Sorry about that, but I hope this helps!
