Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Very very warm with dexterity.Have used these for a few years now. Took them up to 6000 meters. As cold as -26. Hand enough dexterity to pull and rack ice screws while wearing them, although they are a bit bulky.

Doesn't fit and touch-screen doesn't work wellIt is very warm. However, it is too large to grabe anything even though we follow the size chart to select the size. Also, the liner's touch-screen doesn't work for the most of time. I have to give it up and return it even though I have to pay for the shipping and handling fee - $6,95.

MT. RAINIER READYThese gloves saved my fingers on my Summit of Mt. Rainier. Happy about my investment. Would recommend for any serious mountaineering activity or winter conditions.

Poor FitAs others have noted, the inner and outer gloves don't fit together very well. With my hand all the way in, there is a half-inch at the end of each finger in the outer glove. This reduces dexterity. Also, the inner glove is only held in place with a small strip of velcro, and the velcro doesn't line up very well between the inner and outer gloves. So, when I try to put my hand in, I often end up just pushing the inner glove farther in. I have to pinch the two gloves together, put my hand in, and repeat with the other hand (except now I'm wearing the badly-fitting glove, so pinching is difficult).
Since the fit is so bad, I returned the gloves and wasn't able to judge warmth or durability.

Great Gloves, but round up for sizingGreat gloves. I've used them several times and the liners and the shell work great independently, but together they restrict movement in the thumb (webbing seems too short from thumb to index finger). Leaves holding tools feeling a bit insecure (tools are held between fingers and glove stretched taught, not necessarily pressed up against the palm). This is not the case when liner or shell are used separately. Would recommend sizing up if close. Quality construction and materials. I can tell these will last a long time.

Has potential but needs a redesignI first ordered these in an XL since that's the size for all my other OR gIoves. The XL's were very sloppy with extra material on the back of the hand. I also ordered a size LG hoping these things would improve but it was the same problem with just shorter fingers. Also, the gloves do not have the same level of dexterity as other higher end gloves from OR - the square cut fingers and poor fit don't help either. These gloves do have a grippy palm and feel like they would be plenty warm in extreme weather. If OR decides to redesign this glove, it could be a great seller for the brand.

Good value, good quality, some issuesSolid ski gloves. With liners in are extremely warm - too warm generally for skiing. A bit roomy without the liners and bit tight with them in. Liners are decent gloves on their own, but need a wrist cinch as they slide down easily. Often wear a thinner/tighter liner when skiing and that works well. Touchscreen feature is useless. Think they will last though, durable material and waterproofing is good.

Best pair of gloves I've ever wornAmazing gloves. I found them good to -30 with windchill even though they don't 'feel' very insulated. They are actually 2 pairs of gloves, a waterproof, insulated liner with touchscreen fingertips, and a heavy weight outer that is likewise insulated and fleece lined. You can wear the outers on their own, or the inners by themselves, so really you're getting 3 gloves for the price of 1. The wrist keepers are super handy when having to take the outers off, but I would ask that OR puts wrist keepers on the inners somehow - I found myself taking them off as well to fix camera equipment etc and having to hold the inner between my legs. Also a fleece bit on the backs of the outers (snot rag in the parlance) would be beneficial. But all in all, best pair of ski gloves I've ever had.
Is the Charcoal/Natural version shorter than the Black? And how waterproof is this glove compared to the Black Diamond Guide?
Asked by: upslope runner
Hiya, thanks for your question! Both colors are the same length. This glove is waterproof, water wicking and windproof, but the Guide Glove has Gore-Tex brand waterproofing. They both have Primaloft insulation and removable liners. Hope this helps!

Like upslope, the charcoal gloves do not look the same as the black gloves. Why do they look different?
Asked by: HzrInAz
HIya HzrInAz, thanks for your question! I don't have both colors in stock to physically check but it is the same glove. Hope this helps!
HOW to MEASURE Measure around a flat hand at the knuckles, do not include your thumb. Also measure your hand length from the base of your palm to the end of your middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your glove size.
