Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.
Are you Sure?
Our Rewards Program is completely FREE and easy to use.
By opting out, you forfeit all the Moosejaw Rewards Dollars your currently have in your account, which is basically throwing away free money. What would your grandmother say about that? If you're 100% sure, please click "OptOut" below.
Earn 10% back on all full-priced purchases on Moosejaw.com or at our shops (2.5% for discounted items).
The program is FREE. Just register and join during the checkout process. So Easy.
After joining the program, you'll receive your MJ$ as soon as your order ships. Then the next time you shop at Moosejaw, you can redeem those MJ$ to get awesome gear for way less.

This pack fits me so well!I had the 45L and loved it...but in an XS, it didn’t quite have enough capacity, so I got the 60. Same great fit, but roomier at 54L. I think this will be adequate for all I need now.

So Light! So excited to use this pack. Good use of space on this pack for how light it is. The front pocket's elasticity is great, easy to put large water bottles into. The material is thinner to allow for it being so light weight so I am a little nervous to see how it handles a few trips - wondering if the wear and tear will show sooner.

Love this bagI recently used this pack on a 240ish stint through the Sierras. Following the weight restrictions, it is an extremely comfortable pack. I definitely would not recommend putting more than 25 - 27 pounds in it for more than a day (like 25 pounds on day 1 with a 5 day food carry). This is for someone is has a base weight under 13 pounds for sure. I found that the pack is durable, again packing sure you rest the pack against objects on its Cordura side. Something I really wish Osprey will do is to combine the 45 and the 60 and have it a 55L with a roll top closure, which would really open the market to thru hikers and ultralight backpackers. The 60 feels at times to big for stints outside of areas where you do not need a bear can, especially with its weight capacity.

Exactly what I’d hoped it would be...I’ve tried a couple of other ultralight packs from ULA and Gossamer Gear, but they just weren’t comfortable for me. I absolutely loved my Osprey Aura AG pack, but wanted something lighter. When Osprey announced the Lumina last summer, I was intrigued, so took the plunge and bought it as soon as it became available. I finally took it out for the first time this weekend and it did not disappoint.
Osprey wasn’t kidding when they said this probably isn’t the pack for you. It is pretty minimalist compared to their other packs. It doesn’t have hip belt pockets, and the padding isn’t as thick in the shoulder straps and hip belt. However, I found both to still be extremely comfortable, especially the hip belt. I actually appreciate that it isn’t the monster wrap around thing that my Aura has, which is such a pain in the butt to deal with when you’re trying to get your pack on. The webbing is not as wide as on their other packs. Also, the pack is made with silnylon and Osprey’s version of Dyneema, so durability may be an issue. If you’re hard on your gear, I’d go with something a bit more rugged like the Eja, which only weighs 12 ounces more. And despite Osprey’s claim, this pack is NOT water resistant in any way, shape or form, so use a pack liner or cover if you want to keep your stuff dry. Most important, though (at least to me), is it carries with the comfort that Osprey is so well known for, which I just couldn’t find in other ultralight packs. It’s exactly what I hoped it would be.

Amazingly light and very functionalYou can see the attention to weight savings in every part of the backpack. The materials are thin, so that the material used in low-stress areas appears partly transparent (you can clearly read the label on a bag of pistachios through the material). Despite that, there are no obvious weak points, the materials used look to be of high quality, and the pack looks quite durable. This pack survived a backpacking trip into Grand Canyon where it was carried by someone who greatly appreciated the weight savings. The total weight was probably almost 20 pounds. We loved it and would strongly recommend it to everyone who cares about weight and can keep the load within the recommended range. The side pockets look a bit baggy; while I don't like the look of that, we would describe the side pockets as large - they can certainly fit water bottles as well as any other pack.

An “ok” packThe outside pockets lack elasticity, so when the pack is full the pockets become almost useless. The pack carries 26 pounds very well, but I had to fight to get everything in even though I have ultralight gear. This pack is better suited for those carrying 15-20 lbs total.

Please note that the info provided above refers to the torso size the pack will fit, and NOT any dimensions of the pack. Below are steps for how to get your torso length. You should have someone help take this measurement for you so it is accurate.
HOW to MEASURE TORSO LENGTH: 1. Start at the iliac crest, which is the top of the hipbones on the side of your body. These act like a shelf for supporting a pack hipbelt. 2. Touch your chin to your chest to find the C7 vertebrae, the knobby bone at the base of your neck. 3. Make sure you keep your back as straight as possible while measuring. 4. Measure the full length from the C7 vertebrae to the iliac crest. This torso measurement determines what size Osprey pack you should carry. Refer to the size chart above to find your ideal size. 5. If you are in between sizes, it is ideal to try them both on before ordering.
Warranty Info
ALL MIGHTY GUARANTEE - Osprey's Lifetime Warranty
When Osprey celebrated their 35th anniversary in 2009 they launched The Osprey All Mighty Guarantee. What that means to you is ANY Osprey product purchased at ANY time is covered. Any product, any reason, any era - the all encompassing Osprey lifetime warranty ensures their dedication to superior design, craftsmanship and quality of their products is backed up by their actions to replace or repair a pack so it lasts a lifetime. Or two.
Here are some details.... Osprey will repair for any reason, free of charge, any damage or defect in their products, whether it was purchased back in 1974, or ordered right now from this site. If they are unable to perform a functional repair on your pack, they will happily replace it. Osprey proudly stands behind the All Mighty Guarantee, so much so that it bears the signature of company founder and head designer, Mike Pfotenhauer.
Some Osprey All Mighty Guarantee FAQs:
What do I do if my Osprey pack needs to be repaired?
If you live in the United States and need a repair done on your Osprey pack, you will first need to obtain a Return Authorization number. You can do this by reaching their Returns Department at 866-314-3130, or using the information that is provided with a new Osprey pack.
What do I do if I just need a replacement pack part like a buckle?
Give Osprey a call at 866-314-3130 and they will take care of you.
How long will it take?
You can tell Osprey you need the pack returned by a certain date when you request a Return Authorization number, and they will do their absolute best to meet that deadline.
What if my pack is super dirty and stinks?
Clean it before you send it to Osprey to get repaired. The real reason is that there is a law that says if your gear is too dirty or odiferous (smelly), Osprey is not allowed to repair it and will just return it to you.
Do I have to pay for shipping?
A little bit. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the pack to Osprey, and they will pay shipping to return the pack via UPS or FedEx. Osprey cannot be held responsible if packages get lost in transit, so make sure you get a tracking number when you ship your pack out. Also, if you use expedited shipping be sure to let Osprey know (866-314-3130). They, in turn, will give your pack priority processing and return it using a similar expedited shipping method.
Do I have to register my pack to take advantage of this incredible guarantee, and/or need to be the original owner of my Osprey pack?
No! Osprey's All Mighty Guarantee is truly ALL MIGHTY. If you own an Osprey pack that needs to be repaired they will repair or replace it.
JUST A HEADS UP: If your Osprey product is not repairable and is replaced, the original product will not be returned to you. They will try really really hard to repair your pack, but if they are unable to make a functional repair, they will replace it. For products that are no longer in production you will be contacted by Osprey to discuss replacement options.
All good answers. So what is NOT covered?
• Osprey program packs or any Osprey pack used by outdoor programs are ONLY covered under Osprey's Program Pack Warranty, NOT AMG.
• Size and/or fit issues. Make sure you buy a pack that fits. Check out the size guide on Osprey product pages for more info.
• Personal preferences like colors you don't like, style of the pack, or not enough/too much room in your pack. Check the product description, features, specifications, and size guide to make sure you are ordering the right pack for you.
• Third party Repairs or replacements. Send your Osprey pack to Osprey and Osprey only to get fixed. Easy as that. And don't try fixing things yourself.
• Cosmetic wear and tear including any reasonable aging of your pack that affects only the appearance and not the function of your pack. Be proud of those scars!
• B.A.M.G. (Before All Mighty Guarantee) Repair Work. The All Mighty Guarantee applies only to repairs requested on or after January 1, 2009.
• A Osprey Hydraulics reservoir is covered by a limited 1-year warranty, which is the reasonable lifespan of a reservoir. Pouring and storing of warm/hot or boiling water in your reservoir WILL VOID your warranty, so don't do that. Reservoirs are NOT designed to contain or handle liquids at temperature.
