Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.
Are you Sure?
Our Rewards Program is completely FREE and easy to use.
By opting out, you forfeit all the Moosejaw Rewards Dollars your currently have in your account, which is basically throwing away free money. What would your grandmother say about that? If you're 100% sure, please click "OptOut" below.
We want to make extra-sure you realize that you've added a special order item to your cart. These items take a little longer to get to you because we have to order from the manufacturer first. The "Est. Ship Date" is the date we expect items to leave our warehouse... so add your chosen shipping speed to see when it will show up at your door.

The Osprey BacksaverAwesome pack for bike commuting or even day trips. Thought a regular backpack was fine to carry clothes, laptops, water/coffee, everything else, but my back was strained at the end of my commute.
This pack has saved my back and was definitely worth the money. I feel like I can load up this pack with everything I want to bring and not have to worry too much about how I'll feel at the end of the ride. It also doesn't sit directly on your back so it helps keep you cool.
10/10. If you have the budget, you wont regret it.

Tons of SpaceI bought this pack about three weeks ago and have been super impressed. Laptop fits smoothly inside and there’s tons of organizational compartments. The only thing is that if the pack is not completely full the rain cover is kinda of baggy and makes some noise in the wind. Functions great just a little noisy.

Perfect commuter and daily use bagSo far I love this bag. I've had it for a few weeks and have been using it on my daily commute whether by bike or if I'm just driving in to work. A couple reviews mention the fact that the shoe compartment takes up space in the main compartment which is a fair criticism, however, for me the usefulness of having a place to put shoes and dirty clothes separate from everything else in my bag is huge. I like that you can expand the bag when needed and the other little features just really bring this bag together. I'm excited to try this out as a carry on and on other trips once things get back to normal.

One of the best for commutingThis pack will hold a full change of clothes plus work shoes. The pack stays in place while riding. Love the kickstand feature. Also no sweated back with the sling. The only thing I would add, are some tabs to hold while zipping up full compartments.

Some great improvements, some not so greatBought this one as I opened the first generation and was very very pleased with it. I was hoping this would add the minor improvements needed to make this pretty much a perfect bike bag. But there were a few short comings and what I viewed as unwanted changes. It's still a great bag but I'll be returning it and keeping my generation one. I'll start with the negatives. First and foremost the major reaction in organization and small pockets. I'll often have a multi tool, batteries, my lights, and personal items in my generation 1. This will include my laptop charger and a mouse. The new one won't be able to accommodate half the small items I normally carry. This would force me to get an additional bag for organization. There's also a weird gap where the laptop rests that feels like if weight was applied to the laptop, say from luggage, it could break it. They also removed the divider in the main compartment. I'd have my laptop and iPad in their dedicated compartment, and a small portable monitor in the main compartment divider. They removed the elastic for securing bottles. Not sure why, I used it often for larger containers. It's great for bottles of all sorts. Now for the good stuff. The back support is even better. It feels very solid with great weight distribution. The airflow pocket is larger than before. The straps are also improved. They used some sort of elastic rope system that was a little bit too bouncy. I could fee the weight swaying around on my back often. The straps also feel a great deal sturdier. The shoe pocket is now nearly the size of the bag and can easily fit any pair of shoes I own. The previous one could barely fit a pair of sneakers. It's also much easier to access the new one. The u lock holder is a nice change. If it weren't for the snap, I would've lost my u lock multiple times from it bouncing out of the shallow pocket on gen 1. Extra depth on second compartment. It used to be separated into two small compartments

Made me convert from panniers to backpack.I bike commute 5 miles one way, 10 miles total, almost every day. I used panniers for the larger volume and I didn't feel there was a well-designed bike-specific backpack that could carry everything I needed for work. This pack has done it! I've been bike commuting with this backpack for about a month and it's exceptionally functional. My favorite features are the "stand up" on its own, the very well ventilated backside and the expandable zipper.

Close to perfect, but major flaw in in back panelI use the bag for work. I carry a laptop, some files, and my EDC. First the plusses: I really like the pockets. The front mesh is great. The water bottle pocket mesh here is EXCELLENT and should be on ALL THEIR BAGS as there seems to be no way a bottle can fall out; this was a big selling point for me. It seems like every year the Osprey mesh gets better and better. The small front organization pocket is solid; I don't really need the depth here but I suppose it can be good for a small book. I carry my battery, sunglasses, and gum/cord in the small pockets. The main cavity is ok. I don't think the laptop padding needs to be so thick facing the interior. The other side pocket is more of a miss than a plus; I'd rather it be another water bottle pocket (coffee/tea). The big miss here is the back panel for me. The corners on the top of the back panel, the part that can't be adjusted, digs into my shoulder blades. Now I didn't actually use this at length because I did not want to incur an injury (I have before with other bags that did the same, but the Radial is "softer"). When I put it on it was very hard not to notice that it is there. Rather than risk biking with it or even use it for an extended period of time; i decided to get rid of it. I highly recommend just selling this in different sizes like most of your bags instead of one size fits all. This was so close to perfect. I realize that the flaw might only be affecting me. If it doesn't affect you then this is a slam dunk

ALL MIGHTY GUARANTEE - Osprey's Lifetime Warranty
When Osprey celebrated their 35th anniversary in 2009 they launched The Osprey All Mighty Guarantee. What that means to you is ANY Osprey product purchased at ANY time is covered. Any product, any reason, any era - the all encompassing Osprey lifetime warranty ensures their dedication to superior design, craftsmanship and quality of their products is backed up by their actions to replace or repair a pack so it lasts a lifetime. Or two.
Here are some details.... Osprey will repair for any reason, free of charge, any damage or defect in their products, whether it was purchased back in 1974, or ordered right now from this site. If they are unable to perform a functional repair on your pack, they will happily replace it. Osprey proudly stands behind the All Mighty Guarantee, so much so that it bears the signature of company founder and head designer, Mike Pfotenhauer.
Some Osprey All Mighty Guarantee FAQs:
What do I do if my Osprey pack needs to be repaired?
If you live in the United States and need a repair done on your Osprey pack, you will first need to obtain a Return Authorization number. You can do this by reaching their Returns Department at 866-314-3130, or using the information that is provided with a new Osprey pack.
What do I do if I just need a replacement pack part like a buckle?
Give Osprey a call at 866-314-3130 and they will take care of you.
How long will it take?
You can tell Osprey you need the pack returned by a certain date when you request a Return Authorization number, and they will do their absolute best to meet that deadline.
What if my pack is super dirty and stinks?
Clean it before you send it to Osprey to get repaired. The real reason is that there is a law that says if your gear is too dirty or odiferous (smelly), Osprey is not allowed to repair it and will just return it to you.
Do I have to pay for shipping?
A little bit. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the pack to Osprey, and they will pay shipping to return the pack via UPS or FedEx. Osprey cannot be held responsible if packages get lost in transit, so make sure you get a tracking number when you ship your pack out. Also, if you use expedited shipping be sure to let Osprey know (866-314-3130). They, in turn, will give your pack priority processing and return it using a similar expedited shipping method.
Do I have to register my pack to take advantage of this incredible guarantee, and/or need to be the original owner of my Osprey pack?
No! Osprey's All Mighty Guarantee is truly ALL MIGHTY. If you own an Osprey pack that needs to be repaired they will repair or replace it.
JUST A HEADS UP: If your Osprey product is not repairable and is replaced, the original product will not be returned to you. They will try really really hard to repair your pack, but if they are unable to make a functional repair, they will replace it. For products that are no longer in production you will be contacted by Osprey to discuss replacement options.
All good answers. So what is NOT covered?
• Osprey program packs or any Osprey pack used by outdoor programs are ONLY covered under Osprey's Program Pack Warranty, NOT AMG.
• Size and/or fit issues. Make sure you buy a pack that fits. Check out the size guide on Osprey product pages for more info.
• Personal preferences like colors you don't like, style of the pack, or not enough/too much room in your pack. Check the product description, features, specifications, and size guide to make sure you are ordering the right pack for you.
• Third party Repairs or replacements. Send your Osprey pack to Osprey and Osprey only to get fixed. Easy as that. And don't try fixing things yourself.
• Cosmetic wear and tear including any reasonable aging of your pack that affects only the appearance and not the function of your pack. Be proud of those scars!
• B.A.M.G. (Before All Mighty Guarantee) Repair Work. The All Mighty Guarantee applies only to repairs requested on or after January 1, 2009.
• A Osprey Hydraulics reservoir is covered by a limited 1-year warranty, which is the reasonable lifespan of a reservoir. Pouring and storing of warm/hot or boiling water in your reservoir WILL VOID your warranty, so don't do that. Reservoirs are NOT designed to contain or handle liquids at temperature.
