The Osprey Ozone Travel Pack 46 is a travel backpack for zipping your way around the airport and destination cities. When your luggage is stuffed full of clothing, place your laptop and that one pair of shoes you just can't leave behind in this. Don't worry, it's still pretty spacious so you can store your water bottle (don't fill it up until after security!) and snacks in there too. The Handle-It™ attachment system allows you to sling this pack to an Ozone series wheeled luggage, so you can roll through the airport to the car rental counter with ease.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wanted to LOVE it... I was so looking forward to this pack for traveling for business. My vision was it would hold my water bottle, snacks, laptop & work documents as well as personal planner and a jacket/possible change of clothes. Well..the water bottle holder is dangerous as it falls out and I have to use a carabiner to hold it in place. My friend got the same bag after my recommendation and her bottle fell out on the plane and hit another passenger in the head (yikes). It could use another divider for items in the main section as it is very large and all my items tend to get lost and packed down. I think if it had another dividing section, was just a bit smaller (for air travel under seat) and better water bottle holder it would be awesome. My first Osprey was smaller and went all over - but I wanted one size up as I now fly for work. I may call and see if we can figure something out. It has good elements, just not enough for me for ease of travel and investment. Thanks for listening, keep doing all you do :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spacious My fly bag - I haul a bunch of stuff for work to perform site visits. This bag has plenty of room for my 'menagerie of items'. In fact, I thought I forgot to pack something and it was hiding at the bottom of the main compartment! A breeze to slide through TSA/Pre-Check and fits under the seat in-front (assuming I haven't over-packed). If not, works great on the overhead compartment! Laptop and padded tablet/phone compartments - Nice features! Side handle for 'attache style' a nice add when I sling the bag. The top handle is a must for dragging the bag in line at the airport coffee bar that is 30 flyers deep waiting to order!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect travel bag I brought this bag as a replacement to my north face and it exceeded my expectations. It met all of my needs as a frequent traveler across the states.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very large This is a very large size bag. The height dimensions are incorrect, it's listed as 20" but it's actually 22". I was hoping I might use this as my "personal item," while flying, but I think it's questionable whether I could get away with it. Also, the bag does not have a flat bottom, so it doesn't stand up when I put it down.J

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect overnight business trip bag. I am a business traveler and prefer only one carry on and one checked bag. When I fly I always have a laptop and a complete change of cloths all in one bag. Too many times I have had close calls of missing my flight due to delays or having flight cancellations. But keep in mind the bigger the pack and more you load it down it will get uncomfortable. The pack doesn't come with a Sherpa. This pack in comfort is much better than the Swiss Gear Ibex and carries much more. I give it 5 Stars. It does what I want it to do.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect I really wanted to love this bag and I do love a lot about it. However, I was highly concerned that when the shoulder straps are tucked away, like they would be if the bag was checked while flying, the buckles necessary to use the shoulder straps are just small little plastic bits flapping around on the bag. I could see myself putting the bag down at my feet and stepping on one of those buckles, breaking it, and making the shoulder straps unusable mid-trip. I have seen other Osprey bags that have the buckles tucked nicely into the body of the bag - why doesn't this bag have that? In the end, I returned it. If that feature is fixed, I would love to own it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Terrible "water bottle" pockets I own two other Osprey packs: a 2007 Porter 46 which I've used to travel through Europe (awesome pack); and a 2010 Aether 70 which I've only used on two overnighters (excellent pack). I can attest to Osprey's durability, quality and design superiority through all three packs (including this Ozone 46). Having said that, the Ozone 46 water bottle pockets are terrible. Too shallow. By virtue of setting the pack on the ground, objects (including various sized water bottles and coffee travel thermoses) ALL unseat themselves and come out of the pocket. I'm still debating whether I should return this pack because of this. I've owned the Ozone 46 for three weeks now and use it daily for work (I need a black bag to wear while in uniform) and have traveled to a work conference with it. For daily use, excepting the water bottle pockets, it's great: excellent organization pockets (not too Spartan, not overloaded either); good-sized main compartment; a handy lower compartment which I think was intended for shoes; excellent shoulder straps and suspension - the pack doesn't sag below my waist while wearing over my shoulders. A nice feature is the side-carry handle so you can carry in a briefcase manner, which I occasionally do. For travel, again excepting the external water bottle pockets, the pack is terrific. Easily accommodates your laptop AND tablet, clothing (I didn't put shoes in the lower pocket though) and other daily necessities for a multi-day excursion. I didn't need to open up the pack as I went through TSA PreCheck, but the laptop pocket is very easily accessible and well-padded, including the bottom. All-in-all a great pack, lousy external water bottle pockets.

ALL MIGHTY GUARANTEE - Osprey's Lifetime Warranty

When Osprey celebrated their 35th anniversary in 2009 they launched The Osprey All Mighty Guarantee. What that means to you is ANY Osprey product purchased at ANY time is covered. Any product, any reason, any era - the all encompassing Osprey lifetime warranty ensures their dedication to superior design, craftsmanship and quality of their products is backed up by their actions to replace or repair a pack so it lasts a lifetime. Or two.

Here are some details.... Osprey will repair for any reason, free of charge, any damage or defect in their products, whether it was purchased back in 1974, or ordered right now from this site. If they are unable to perform a functional repair on your pack, they will happily replace it. Osprey proudly stands behind the All Mighty Guarantee, so much so that it bears the signature of company founder and head designer, Mike Pfotenhauer.

Some Osprey All Mighty Guarantee FAQs:

What do I do if my Osprey pack needs to be repaired?
If you live in the United States and need a repair done on your Osprey pack, you will first need to obtain a Return Authorization number. You can do this by reaching their Returns Department at 866-314-3130, or using the information that is provided with a new Osprey pack.

What do I do if I just need a replacement pack part like a buckle?
Give Osprey a call at 866-314-3130 and they will take care of you.

How long will it take?
You can tell Osprey you need the pack returned by a certain date when you request a Return Authorization number, and they will do their absolute best to meet that deadline.

What if my pack is super dirty and stinks?
Clean it before you send it to Osprey to get repaired. The real reason is that there is a law that says if your gear is too dirty or odiferous (smelly), Osprey is not allowed to repair it and will just return it to you.

Do I have to pay for shipping?
A little bit. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the pack to Osprey, and they will pay shipping to return the pack via UPS or FedEx. Osprey cannot be held responsible if packages get lost in transit, so make sure you get a tracking number when you ship your pack out. Also, if you use expedited shipping be sure to let Osprey know (866-314-3130). They, in turn, will give your pack priority processing and return it using a similar expedited shipping method.

Do I have to register my pack to take advantage of this incredible guarantee, and/or need to be the original owner of my Osprey pack?
No! Osprey's All Mighty Guarantee is truly ALL MIGHTY. If you own an Osprey pack that needs to be repaired they will repair or replace it.

JUST A HEADS UP: If your Osprey product is not repairable and is replaced, the original product will not be returned to you. They will try really really hard to repair your pack, but if they are unable to make a functional repair, they will replace it. For products that are no longer in production you will be contacted by Osprey to discuss replacement options.

All good answers. So what is NOT covered?
• Osprey program packs or any Osprey pack used by outdoor programs are ONLY covered under Osprey's Program Pack Warranty, NOT AMG.
• Size and/or fit issues. Make sure you buy a pack that fits. Check out the size guide on Osprey product pages for more info.
• Personal preferences like colors you don't like, style of the pack, or not enough/too much room in your pack. Check the product description, features, specifications, and size guide to make sure you are ordering the right pack for you.
• Third party Repairs or replacements. Send your Osprey pack to Osprey and Osprey only to get fixed. Easy as that. And don't try fixing things yourself.
• Cosmetic wear and tear including any reasonable aging of your pack that affects only the appearance and not the function of your pack. Be proud of those scars!
• B.A.M.G. (Before All Mighty Guarantee) Repair Work. The All Mighty Guarantee applies only to repairs requested on or after January 1, 2009.
• A Osprey Hydraulics reservoir is covered by a limited 1-year warranty, which is the reasonable lifespan of a reservoir. Pouring and storing of warm/hot or boiling water in your reservoir WILL VOID your warranty, so don't do that. Reservoirs are NOT designed to contain or handle liquids at temperature.
