Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.
Are you Sure?
Our Rewards Program is completely FREE and easy to use.
By opting out, you forfeit all the Moosejaw Rewards Dollars your currently have in your account, which is basically throwing away free money. What would your grandmother say about that? If you're 100% sure, please click "OptOut" below.
Earn 10% back on all full-priced purchases on Moosejaw.com or at our shops (2.5% for discounted items).

ReturnedI am a huge fan of Osprey packs. I have never had a complaint until this pack. Maybe the people who this pack worked for have a higher I.Q. than me because I could not make this pack work. The single strap was awkward at best. I wasn't able to tighten it up the amount I needed to in order to get the pack off my legs. After almost face planting in my living room, I decided to not attempt this in an airport in front of thousands of people. I hope there is a redesign soon because I would want a product like this!

Great for TravelI haven't taken this airporter on a trip yet, but will be using it for an upcoming excursion. The material seems durable and the size seems like a perfect fit for my hiking pack. Can't wait to take it on the road.

Durable and roomy, but difficult to carryThis pack is HUGE, you can definitely fit all of your gear and then-some in here. Especially for how small it packs down and stows into another bag. It is very durable and weatherproof as well. I have used mine to/from Dutch Harbor, AK during peak winter weather, and all of my gear was dry and secure with no signs of tearing or wear. I recently took it to Japan as well, with a layover in wet conditions, still no issues. The reason for only 4 stars is the loading and carrying. The bag has to be standing to load, so as a duffel, it is quite awkward, and once you lay it down, the symmetry is lost, making the weight hard to distribute evenly. The single shoulder strap is difficult to use due to how large the bag is. It would have been better to install the backpack style straps. Stowing the shoulder strap is not the best either. It goes into a pocket that does not zip, so if the duffel is not stuffed full (which is hard to do unless you pack for at least two people), it allows the strap to slip out. Aside from that, you are getting a high quality bag with PLENTY of room. The hand strap is strong, but gets heavy fast. I have purchased the S and M sizes as well to see if that works better for one person.

Poor design and qualityEverything mentioned by other reviewers is entirely accurate. I purchased the airporter to protect my Osprey Meridian Wheeled Convertible Luggage when checked. After a couple of uses there are multiple tears at the bottom. The large strap makes it awkward to carry. The material should be more durable. Osprey should consider a design that allows for an opening at the bottom, where the wheels are located, so that you can still roll the luggage rather than having to take the duffel in and out of the airporter.

Great for travelling with gear for toddlersWe regularly travel between Australia and New Zealand to visit relatives. When in New Zealand, we rent a car and it became apparent after the first trip we took with our child soon after she was born that we weren't comfortable at all with using the car seats provided by the rental company. So it was decided that we would take our own on our next trip. The next trip over, and our first trip with our own car seat saw the seat wrapped in multiple thick garbage bin liners with lots of tape holding it all together. We knew that was never going to be a long term solution. Just by chance, I stumbled across this bag in a store here in Melbourne and taking a chance that the car seat would fit it, I bought it. Turns out this bag comfortably fits a car seat with heaps of room to spare. Travelling back and forth between Melbourne and Auckland with a toddler a few times per year is made a whole lot easier with the Airport Large.

Three Airports, Two Transports, One HoleBought this for transporting my Mammut 50+7L backpack to climbing and hiking about the world. My first issue with this pack, is that is SO awkward and painful to carry-- even from just the car to the check-in counter and claim to car. I keep my backpack out of the transporter until I get to the airport for this reason. This makes traveling more difficult, because I'm also fumbling through the other items which I'm stuffing with this backpack (e.g. sleeping bag, ultralight tent, poles, etc.) at the airport at the very last moment.
I really don't like to be wasteful, so I would normally grit my teeth and deal with this awkward single strap design. But, after two trips, there is already a hole!! I fly Delta which is considered by many sites to be a safe handler of checked bags. Regardless, I do expect the transit to be very rough. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bought a protective sack like this for my backpack. Buckles get caught in conveyors, straps get torn off, etc. But after a round trip flight CVG>DEN and then another CVG>LAX>HNL, I have found the pictured hole.
Love my Osprey 46L. I'm still generally pretty trusting of the brand. But if I had the opportunity to go back and choose differently, I'd very readily go for another cover or duffel. I'll be researching to replace this for my next trip.
This is not a review of Moosejaw! I've been a customer for a while and love the cut of their jib.

Great transport bag for larger backpacksI use this bag when flying to destinations with my Osprey Xenith 88. It holds a fully loaded pack with enough room left over for extra gear as well. To date, I've used it several times with no visible wear, and it protects my backpack from wear, and it has lockable zippers. Very pleased.
I have a Osprey Kyte 36. What size cover do you recommend?
Asked by: Uppercreek
Hey Uppercreek, good question! The small is intended for packs less than 50L, medium will work with 45-75L packs and the large is meant for packs from 75-110L. So in this case, I think you should be looking at the small. I hope this helps!

Which size is best for the women's small Osprey Aura 65?
Asked by: Trish
Thanks for the question! Based on the liter size of your pack, I would get a Medium Airporter. That is designed to fit packs 45 - 75 liters. Hope this helps!
Please note that the info provided above refers to the torso size the pack will fit, and NOT any dimensions of the pack. Below are steps for how to get your torso length. You should have someone help take this measurement for you so it is accurate.
HOW to MEASURE TORSO LENGTH: 1. Start at the iliac crest, which is the top of the hipbones on the side of your body. These act like a shelf for supporting a pack hipbelt. 2. Touch your chin to your chest to find the C7 vertebrae, the knobby bone at the base of your neck. 3. Make sure you keep your back as straight as possible while measuring. 4. Measure the full length from the C7 vertebrae to the iliac crest. This torso measurement determines what size Osprey pack you should carry. Refer to the size chart above to find your ideal size. 5. If you are in between sizes, it is ideal to try them both on before ordering.
Warranty Info
ALL MIGHTY GUARANTEE - Osprey's Lifetime Warranty
When Osprey celebrated their 35th anniversary in 2009 they launched The Osprey All Mighty Guarantee. What that means to you is ANY Osprey product purchased at ANY time is covered. Any product, any reason, any era - the all encompassing Osprey lifetime warranty ensures their dedication to superior design, craftsmanship and quality of their products is backed up by their actions to replace or repair a pack so it lasts a lifetime. Or two.
Here are some details.... Osprey will repair for any reason, free of charge, any damage or defect in their products, whether it was purchased back in 1974, or ordered right now from this site. If they are unable to perform a functional repair on your pack, they will happily replace it. Osprey proudly stands behind the All Mighty Guarantee, so much so that it bears the signature of company founder and head designer, Mike Pfotenhauer.
Some Osprey All Mighty Guarantee FAQs:
What do I do if my Osprey pack needs to be repaired?
If you live in the United States and need a repair done on your Osprey pack, you will first need to obtain a Return Authorization number. You can do this by reaching their Returns Department at 866-314-3130, or using the information that is provided with a new Osprey pack.
What do I do if I just need a replacement pack part like a buckle?
Give Osprey a call at 866-314-3130 and they will take care of you.
How long will it take?
You can tell Osprey you need the pack returned by a certain date when you request a Return Authorization number, and they will do their absolute best to meet that deadline.
What if my pack is super dirty and stinks?
Clean it before you send it to Osprey to get repaired. The real reason is that there is a law that says if your gear is too dirty or odiferous (smelly), Osprey is not allowed to repair it and will just return it to you.
Do I have to pay for shipping?
A little bit. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the pack to Osprey, and they will pay shipping to return the pack via UPS or FedEx. Osprey cannot be held responsible if packages get lost in transit, so make sure you get a tracking number when you ship your pack out. Also, if you use expedited shipping be sure to let Osprey know (866-314-3130). They, in turn, will give your pack priority processing and return it using a similar expedited shipping method.
Do I have to register my pack to take advantage of this incredible guarantee, and/or need to be the original owner of my Osprey pack?
No! Osprey's All Mighty Guarantee is truly ALL MIGHTY. If you own an Osprey pack that needs to be repaired they will repair or replace it.
JUST A HEADS UP: If your Osprey product is not repairable and is replaced, the original product will not be returned to you. They will try really really hard to repair your pack, but if they are unable to make a functional repair, they will replace it. For products that are no longer in production you will be contacted by Osprey to discuss replacement options.
All good answers. So what is NOT covered?
• Osprey program packs or any Osprey pack used by outdoor programs are ONLY covered under Osprey's Program Pack Warranty, NOT AMG.
• Size and/or fit issues. Make sure you buy a pack that fits. Check out the size guide on Osprey product pages for more info.
• Personal preferences like colors you don't like, style of the pack, or not enough/too much room in your pack. Check the product description, features, specifications, and size guide to make sure you are ordering the right pack for you.
• Third party Repairs or replacements. Send your Osprey pack to Osprey and Osprey only to get fixed. Easy as that. And don't try fixing things yourself.
• Cosmetic wear and tear including any reasonable aging of your pack that affects only the appearance and not the function of your pack. Be proud of those scars!
• B.A.M.G. (Before All Mighty Guarantee) Repair Work. The All Mighty Guarantee applies only to repairs requested on or after January 1, 2009.
• A Osprey Hydraulics reservoir is covered by a limited 1-year warranty, which is the reasonable lifespan of a reservoir. Pouring and storing of warm/hot or boiling water in your reservoir WILL VOID your warranty, so don't do that. Reservoirs are NOT designed to contain or handle liquids at temperature.
