He is a scout so these were meant to be for hiking but he literally wears them every single day and they are holding up beautifully. His feet have stayed dry when he has been hiking and he says that they are very comfortable.

I have an old cracked joint that needs to be fused. Don’t want surgery at my age. I have no pain in the ball joint with these shoes so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable trail shoe! hiking+backpacking I bought a new pair to replace my old pair. The fact I replaced the old pair with the same shoe is a positive. I like this shoe because I can get it with a wider toe box. When I injured my toe joint I could still wear this shoe when I couldn't wear my normal boots. That included using these shoes for backpacking treks over the past year. The inside heel area eventually wore out (taping gave it an extension of life) and the tread wore down over the year, but I ordered the same pair again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hiking shoe ever I was looking for a good waterproof hiking shoe for casual walking around town, long walks, and occasional hiking. This shoe fit the bill. My foot fits comfortably in the shoe from the heel to toe and side to side. It is true to size. The sole provides a harder surface than a typical sneaker to provide more support. Being waterproof is an added benefit. The only issue I have is with the laces. The laces are difficult to loosen then tighten as they lay tight against the tongue of the shoe. A thicker more textured lace would be better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these Oboz hikers Shoes arrived and I went on a 12 mile hike the next day. Comfortable, grippy and lighter than a boot. But also more stable than the trail runners I used to hike in. These were exactly what I was looking for and definitely look better than some other brands I was considering. Huge bonus I stepped through some lake ice at 10,000 feet and it would’ve been super cold but these are waterproof, score!

I usually associate the color canteen a dark green/brown. Does the canteen boot have a greenish tint.

Thanks for reaching out! No, the color Canteen does not have any green in it. With that said, the colo Sediment does. If you are looking for some Green, that is the way to go. I hope this helps!
