Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Solid Work ShoesI'm a raft guide, meaning I'm in a raft, out of a raft, and generally around the water all day. While the boots don't keep any of the water out (in fact they hold a lot of water in) they're a great pair of shoes. They also keep all dirt and rocks out of your shoes when you're walking on natural trails and paths and protect your feet.
All recommendations to go a size up are very correct. I typically wear a 6.5 but these in an 8 fit just right. They are a bit hard to get off but socks really help that process.

Better than a BootieFit wasn't right for me but they are better than a neoprene bootie at keeping your toes and ankles safe. The sole seems like it will protect on scouts and portages much better, too.

Great boots!!!I bought these boots for a trip to the boundary waters of Minnesota. Instead of dancing around the water that collects in some sections on the trail I was able to confidently walk through water up to 5" deep. They kept my feet dry and supported my ankles. Warm, dry and super comfortable, I couldn't ask for a better wet condition boot! I love them and would definitely recommend them.

Surf FishermanI like these boots a lot. I wade fish in the surf in Florida and all my other footwear fill up with sand and broken shells. I can't get these boots tight enough to keep my feet dry but the water isn't enough to be sloshy and the boots kept out all of the sand and debris. Plus they hold me stable in the waves.

Good protectionPurchased for an Algonquin Province Park canoe trip in early May/ice out. My feet were wet for 7 days. I really liked theses boots because they were comfortable, durable, supportive and reasonably warm. I used a super thin wool liner sock to help reduce the friction when putting them on and it worked great. The neoprene gasket around my ankle kept grit out and my socks stayed clean. Ive been wilderness canoe tripping for 30,years and this was the best footwear choice yet. Granted, putting cold wet boots on in the morning stinks but my feet warmed quickly. I purchased a 9&10 to compare. Sent the 9 back because it felt too tight. Probably should have stuck with the 9. The boot may have stretched a bit.

Perfect for canoeingI bought these before going on a week-long Boundary Waters canoe trip. They performed flawlessly. Great support on the hikes, grippy soles for wet slippery rocks, and comfy neoprene for everything else. If I were to quibble about something it would be that they never seemed to dry out. If you're taking a canoe trip, I think these would be hard to beat. I took others' advice and sized up one size.

Great features on the wet bootsWe have bought 9 pairs in the last 3 weeks the Men & Woman love them. Great shoe for our swift water class. Every one thinks they are great. We can not post photo or video.
I have terrible arches and wear SuperFeet in all my shoes/boots. Will these accommodate my SuperFeet?
Asked by: TrailZen51
Thanks for the question! The NRS Workboot Wetshoe does have a very snug fit. If you went up one size, you could use a pair of sock liners (wool or a thinner style) to help absorb some of the extra room. I would recommend ordering both sizes (your normal size & one size up) and trying them on with your Superfeet & liners. You can always return the pair that does not work out. Just let me know if you decide to go that route. Hope this helps a little!

Do these run small. I wear mostly 12 but some shoes are a 13. Should I get a 13. If not right size can I exchange if not worn for use other than to try on.
Asked by: Samuelbm
Hiya Samuelbm, thanks for your question! This wetshoe does run snug. You want it to have a tight fit, to keep the water out, but sizing up isn't a bad idea, especially if you plan to wear socks.
Yes, you can return or exchange if it is unworn (besides trying on). You can read our whole Return Policy here: https://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/content_returns____
Hope this helps!

Hello -
Do you wear these with socks, or barefoot? Also, how are they in various kinds of weather - hot weather versus colder. Thanks!
Asked by: Staphmd
Hiya Staphmd, thanks for your question! They are made out of neoprene, so you do not need to wear a sock, however, you could wear one for warmth or comfort. You can wear a thin wicking sock or wetsock in warmer water and even a heavy wool sock in frigid water, but you might want to size up if that is the case. Hope this helps!

Are these boots self-draining? I saw one review that said they're waterproof, which isn't what I need.
Asked by: Tom144
Hi there Tom144!
Great question. The half-oval shape panel between the arch and laces is designed to drain the outer portion of the shoe. Hope this helps!

My actual foot size calls for an11-1/2 US men’s standard width dress or casual shoe. However, in Nike tennis shoes I must upsize to a 12. What boot size would you recommend if wearing a Gore-Tex Pro drysuit and medium thick merino wool socks?
Asked by: West Medows
Hey there thanks for the great question.
I would say going with the 12 would be a safer bet. Your feet swell as you hike and you don't want to be mashed in the toe box before you even start. If however when you get the 12s they seem a bit too big we offer free return shipping on footwear.
I hope this helps!

I have very high arches and am searching for a good supportive shoe for river hiking. Do these have any arch support for hiking miles?
Asked by: Waterhikr
Hey there Waterhikr, thanks for the question! I think you are looking at our best option for your specific needs right here. If the fit doesn't end up working for you before you actually take these to the river, send them back or way for a full refund. We don't charge return shipping on footwear, I hope this helps!

Are these boots good for using in the water all day long? I do commercial diving and need something with support, and the NRS work boots seems like the best way to go
Asked by: CheeseDiver
Hey there CheeseDiver!
Great question. These boots are great for water use, and provide ample support. They can also be used with fins, which is a plus. These boots are lighter weight as well, weighing in at 2.4 pounds a pair. Hope this helps!

I wear a mens size 7 shoe so I purchased these boots in an 8. I am having a lot of trouble getting them on. Once they are on my feet, they seem okay. Should I go up another size, or does everyone else have trouble putting them on? Thanks!
Asked by: Tina
Hey, Tina!
Great question. I checked with our friends at NRS, who said that it's absolutely normal for these boots to be tight getting on, because they're made of neoprene, which helps give them their sturdy structure that will support your ankles and protect you from wet conditions.
So, they're stiff on purpose. Since it sounds like your foot fits well inside, you seem to have found a size that works for you, even if they're tougher to get on.
I hope this helps!
