Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for canoeing I bought these before going on a week-long Boundary Waters canoe trip. They performed flawlessly. Great support on the hikes, grippy soles for wet slippery rocks, and comfy neoprene for everything else. If I were to quibble about something it would be that they never seemed to dry out. If you're taking a canoe trip, I think these would be hard to beat. I took others' advice and sized up one size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features on the wet boots We have bought 9 pairs in the last 3 weeks the Men & Woman love them. Great shoe for our swift water class. Every one thinks they are great. We can not post photo or video.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product I bought this last month and it seems to work great. Buy a size or two larger if using dry suits. The boots dry out well when wet and wash off easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent support! I bought these in September for someone who’s had their ankle fused. He works on the water so needs good support and a dry foot. Because of the fusion his foot is hard to fit. My only recommendation would be to go a half size up. I’d like to have size for him if they work, but with his ankle issue I maybe should have gone a whole size. It’s very nice to get off the boat with dry feet !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Portage Boot! As suggested, I bought slightly bigger boots than I normally wear, and the boots easily accommodate my SuperFeet (gotta have arch support!) and a pair of liner socks. Great tread, good ankle support, and very well made. Can't wait to hit Quetico next summer with these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I couldn't have asked for better portage footwear I just got back from a canoe trip in Quetico Provincial Park--solo, 9 days-in which, at one point, I trekked in knee deep much for hundreds of yards. These boots never came close to coming off. On all portages, these boots were outstanding. I needed a ankle support and I got it with these. This was the best piece of gear on my trip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic!! The boots do seem to run smaller than other shoes of the same size....But they are an excellent product that I expect to hold up to many different outdoor activities!

I have terrible arches and wear SuperFeet in all my shoes/boots. Will these accommodate my SuperFeet?

Asked by: TrailZen51
Thanks for the question! The NRS Workboot Wetshoe does have a very snug fit. If you went up one size, you could use a pair of sock liners (wool or a thinner style) to help absorb some of the extra room. I would recommend ordering both sizes (your normal size & one size up) and trying them on with your Superfeet & liners. You can always return the pair that does not work out. Just let me know if you decide to go that route. Hope this helps a little!

Do these run small. I wear mostly 12 but some shoes are a 13. Should I get a 13. If not right size can I exchange if not worn for use other than to try on.

Asked by: Samuelbm
Hiya Samuelbm, thanks for your question! This wetshoe does run snug. You want it to have a tight fit, to keep the water out, but sizing up isn't a bad idea, especially if you plan to wear socks. Yes, you can return or exchange if it is unworn (besides trying on). You can read our whole Return Policy here: Hope this helps!

Hello - Do you wear these with socks, or barefoot? Also, how are they in various kinds of weather - hot weather versus colder. Thanks!

Asked by: Staphmd
Hiya Staphmd, thanks for your question! They are made out of neoprene, so you do not need to wear a sock, however, you could wear one for warmth or comfort. You can wear a thin wicking sock or wetsock in warmer water and even a heavy wool sock in frigid water, but you might want to size up if that is the case. Hope this helps!

Are these boots self-draining? I saw one review that said they're waterproof, which isn't what I need.

Asked by: Tom144
Hi there Tom144! Great question. The half-oval shape panel between the arch and laces is designed to drain the outer portion of the shoe. Hope this helps!

Are these boots good for using in the water all day long? I do commercial diving and need something with support, and the NRS work boots seems like the best way to go

Asked by: CheeseDiver
Hey there CheeseDiver! Great question. These boots are great for water use, and provide ample support. They can also be used with fins, which is a plus. These boots are lighter weight as well, weighing in at 2.4 pounds a pair. Hope this helps!

I'm going on a canoe trip to the boundary waters in northern Minnesota in July. From the other reviews/answers, it looks like these will keep my feet dry. I'm wondering if my feet will get too hot from being in the neoprene all day, and wet with sweat?

Asked by: Piney
Hiya Piney, thanks for your question! Most people wear merino wool or other moisture wicking and cooling liner socks to stay comfortable and temperature control their feet. I would give that a try! Hope this helps!

When trout fishing I walk the river and cross it frequently. I don't like waders. The water is swift in some areas and the rocks can be upwards of 12" dia. and slippery. How does your boot performed in these conditions submerged?

Asked by: Berdine
Hey Berdine! These boots are excellent for exactly that. Although if you are going to be submerged above the sock line for a prolonged period, you might want to add some tape to fully seal that. I know people that use those boots for the Subway at Zion and swear by them. They use them for river rescues, etc. Definitely think they can handle the trout fishing!
