Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

For the cold and humid mountain days!This has got to be the perfect layer for wet and cold days. Like for example when skiing on cold wintery days or even when belaying on an ice climb. On ice climbs you end up standing still while belaying, often in quite humid conditions, it is cold and easy to get wet and a jacket like this will be fenomenal there.
The goretex stops the humidity from entering the insulation, keeping you warm and dry and the ventilation zips to open under the arms allows you to air out when needed. A great cold winter combo with both insulation and shell in one. Great for skiing: a dream when you sit in the lift a chilly day and only waiting to start riding to get warm again. With this one, you don't need to freeze and instead keep warm and enjoy it. Perfect for the early season colder days or just when wanting to stay a little extra warm.

Versatile jacket with great features!It took me a long time to figure out what size to order, but all the comments from the other costumers really helped. I would most likely have bought a small if I hadn’t read them but ended up buying a medium – mainly because I wanted to make sure I could fit multiple layers and back protector underneath it. I’m glad I chose the medium, even though it's a bit baggy on me.
When the jacket arrived and I tried it on, it felt like the arms were too long. I also had my concerns about the stiffness of the zippers under the armpits regarding mobility. However, when I went skiing all my concerns were gone. The size is good, I have full mobility, and the jacket has a lot of great features.
In one week, I had two daytrips to the Alpes: The first with full sun, no wind, and +2 degC. The second with no sun, wind, huge snowfall, and -10 degC. The jacket was perfect for both days! What I especially like about the jacket is the length of the back and the storm hood.
If I can propose one improvement: It would be really cool if this model had the same "easy access"-function to your tracker (the front chest ventilation zipper) as the lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Jacket.

Amazing jacket, functional and comfortableI brought this jacket two month ago and used it for skiing and snowshowing. I love the „aircondition“ function at the armpit. The jacket keeps me warm up to -15 degrees.

Great jacket - perfect for any weatherI bought this jacket a month ago and have since worn it several times to go skiing in the alps. The jacket is quite thin, and I thought I’d have to wear a puffer underneath - however, the quality is amazing, and the jacket keeps you really warm. If it’s a warm day, you can then simply open the zippers under the arms, which regulates the temperatures well. It’s a good length, which ensures no snow gets anywhere - great features around the hands. I ordered several jackets and decided on this one, as it’s a very high quality product and compared to everything else on the market, it’s super light!

Amazing jacketThis jacket is absolutely fantastic. It proved to be warm, dry with lots of thoughtful pockets. The hood fit perfectly over my helmet as I skied at over 12,000 ft at A-Basin in Colorado.

Sleeve length is problematic & unnecessaryI purchased this jacket in May 2022 and used it for Australia's ski season. I'm a seasoned skier and backcountry tourer, so I am fastidious about my gear. Whilst the technical aspects of the lofoten gore-tex insulation are up to Norrona standards, the sleeve length needs to be more workable. I am 5'9 and purchased an (L) as I'm an Australian W size 12. The sleeve length goes well beyond my hand to the extent it is excessive and a nuisance when putting gloves on. I don't see any technical reason to have the excess fabric, and when in the elements, it's just more of a hindrance than any probable technical use. On speaking with the Norrona team, the repair service doesn't include shortening of the sleeves, so I'd need to get this done locally in Australia or sell the jacket. Either way, it's such a shame, as the jacket has so much potential.

Love my new jacket!I use different layers under and are never cold, the jacket is ressistant against rainy days in Norway and I love the fit. The arm pit zipper is a little clumpy, but all in all it is a great jacket.

How many pockets does this jacket have? The description say 3, but I see 5 outside: 2 on chest, 2 at hips and 1 on sleeve. how many inside? description says 1.

Hey there chrismmmm, thanks for the question! This jacket has 2 zippered hand pockets, 2 zippered chest pockets (one on each side of the zipper) and one small zippered pocket on the upper left sleeve. On the interior, it has one zippered chest pocket on the left hand side when wearing it and below that pocket is a good sized mesh pocket with no closure, it also features pit zips. I hope this helps!

HOW to MEASURE CHEST: Measure the fullest part of your chest. Place the tape under your armpits and wrap it around the widest part of your bust.
HIP: Measure the circumference of your hips. Place the tape on your hip bone, wrap it around your rear and back to where you started. Make sure it's level.
SEAT: Measure the fullest part of your butt. Make sure the tape is levelled.
ARM LENGTH: Place your hand at your waist and measure the arm from the top of the shoulder bone via your elbow and down to the wrist bone.
