The Nemo Wagon 4P Tent is a spacious tent for car camping with a small group. It's all about space and comfort when you're out in nature with a group of four and the Wagon starts with quick set up. Pitchable by one person, but who are you kidding, put the kids to work! The clips are easy for attaching the tent body to the poles, you'll just have to help out when it gets to the tall sections. Once up, you'll have 69 square feet of space to literally walk into, with the single walk-in entrance that you won't have to crouch through. The vestibule keeps a shaded and drier entrance, but can be removed if you're feeling lucky. Air flow is provided by large screens at the sides, which won't give away your privacy when changing. Stand up, stretch, and get dressed for the day, all without bopping your head on the ceiling. Unless you're taller than 6.5', then maybe duck just a bit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not worth the preimum I've owned this tent for over a year and it is a good summer camping tent in dry conditions. It has plenty of room, you can probably squeeze 5 or 6 people in a pinch. It is TALL (at 5' 5" I have to now pack a step stool to set it up). A single person setup (my benchmark) is somewhat difficult but not impossible. The poles need a lot of space to be assembled before setup which makes small campsites a challenge. I found it does not perform too well in the rain for a few reasons. First is the design of the windows, which are sloped outwards, that means in anything other than a drizzle water will pool at the bottom where the flap connects to the body, eventually spilling water inside, at best it just becomes a place where debris is collected. Second is the single wall, it works well as long as there's no contact with the fabric from inside, if you touch it there will be moisture on the inside of the tent. Third, and I find this fundamental, the shape of the roof will lead to pooling, maybe if you could set it in a perfectly flat surface it'd work. A few other things that make this tent not worth the premium prize: - Doesn't include a footprint, at this price it should. - The velcro for the windows has the hook side facing the mesh, which leads to piling no matter how careful you are (design error). Also the loop side does not match hook side (quality control issue). - For the price it has no loops at all to even hang a lantern. -Bottom pockets are placed right under the door, which is quite a fun trip hazard, especially at night (did I mention no place to hang a lantern?). Overall I am somewhat disappointed with this coming from Nemo and I think there are better options at a lower price

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, easy to pitch, single wall=more open Countless tents over the years, big and small, bivy and basecamp, but I've wanted a single wall so we didn't need to put up rain fly just in case it might rain. It always cuts the view and ventilation. We've used the tent on multiple occasions since spring, even set it up in the yard near our fire pit for several nights because we loved sleeping in it. Extreme high winds and 0.5" rain in 15-20min last week didn't phase it at all. 3-person version works fine with us and grandchildren.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of room! I bought the 4p wagontop to “replace” my 3 person losi tent. There’s sooo much room, and it’s nice to be able to stand up and stretch! Only suggestion, put it up a few times first. Once you get the hang of the poles set up is easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent tent We just got back from a two week trip to Colorado. We had wind, light rain and some warm days. The tent held up well and the cross ventilation was nice. I was able to stand up in it and being 6'2" tall it makes it easier changing clothes. I wish they would have had the 6 or 8 person available when I purchased mine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds Up In A Windstorm After camping for 5 years in a Losi 3P and loving the tent, I decided that it was about time to get a tent that we can stand up in. The Wagontop 4P was perfect. Being concerned about wind problems, I brought the Losi 3P along as a backup. I'm happy to report that it was not needed. With a weather report of high winds, even a possible tornado, we set up deep in the woods on a lake shore. I also installed the supplied guy lines. That night had very high winds. It handled the wind amazingly well. The design of this tent is also amazing. The details are thought out very well. It is a pleasure camp in this tent. Because we Kayak camp, we needed a tent that is light enough and this tent weight is just right. The Wagontop 4P is consistent in the high quality I expect from NEMO Equipment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good concept, poor execution Good in concept, lots of head room, easy to assemble once you get the system down, surprisingly stable in wind. We returned one last summer after 2+ months of steady use as a storage area at our camps. (We did not live in the tent; used our van for daily activities.) Rain soaked up through bottom with puddles inside tent, poles came apart, shock cords got wet in rain, front door design leaves a lot to be desired, pin holes in fabric. There's more. Occasional short term use may be OK but

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent car-camping tent Bought this about 6 months ago, and had used it once during a dry, fall camp. After some initial fumbling around with the setup, the tent went up easily, and quickly. I love the size of the tent, where 2 or 3 of us can stand without bumping into the roof or having to crouch or lean out of the way while someone turns around. I tossed in two cots, and it was like sleeping in a cabin. Absolutely perfect. This past weekend, I was camping at the same site, only this time, it was cold, windy, and rainy. The tent held up beautifully. Despite my misgivings about it not having a dedicated rain-fly, there were no leaks or drips inside the tent. There was some condensation build-up, but, any tent in that rain would have had condensation, despite opening the rear window (which is protected by the rear overhang) to try to provide ventilation. The vestibule is large enough that I could put down a cheap outdoor mat where we could keep our shoes so we wouldn't track dirt/mud into the tent. The Victory blanket is something everyone should buy with this tent. Not only does it fit perfectly inside the tent, but the waterproof backing, and the cushioned top help keep the tent dryer, cleaner, and a lot more comfortable. One final thing which may seem like a minor detail, but to me it is important: The carry bag is sized large enough to be able to pack the tent and all associated components (not including the blanket), even if it's not perfectly tucked in. Sometimes bags or cases are so tightly designed that unless you can repack your tent like it came from the factory, it won't fit. This one has just enough space that it's not an issue, but not so big that space is wasted. tl;dr: Big tent, works well rain or shine, highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from feels like a cabin! The wife and I also purchased the blanket that goes with this tent. After car camping with this I doubt I will ever go with a dome style tent ever again.Easy set up and the vestibule is an added bonus. It felt like a cabin, plenty of headroom and we played cards with our 3 kids on an inflatable couch with room to spare! If you have the money to spend on this tent get it.

Does the tent have attachment points for guylines? If so, where are they located?

Asked by: Steep
Hey there, Thanks for the question. Since this tent tends to have problems catching high winds thanks to it's large size, Nemo has designed this to have attachment points for guylines. You can attach guylines directly to the tent poles.

Is there a rainfall for the Nemo Wagon top 4P tent?

Asked by: Randy
Hey Randy! That's a fantastic question. No, the Nemo Wagon Top 4P Tent does not have a rain fly. The tent is designed to keep out rain and wind on its own. The windows have flaps to cover them if you need protection from the elements, and the vestibule provides some extra protection around the door. You should definitely pick up the footprint though! I would never set up a tent without one.
