FEATURES of the Nemo Vector Insulated 25L Sleeping Pad

  • Spaceframe baffles (die-cut trusses of low-stretch fabric) eliminate the springiness found in competitor pads
  • Creates a more stable sleep surface, better for rolling side-to-side and for keeping your elbows off the ground when reading a book
  • Undulating Lateral Baffles offer the most comfortable andunobtrusive topography for sleeping pads, which combined with the height, stability, quiet fabrics, and paltry weight and packed size make this series the ultimate in pad design
  • Integrated foot pump is fast and efficient, and vastly superior to using your lungs, especially after a day on the trail
  • Vector features a metalized film layer to offer insulation at an ethereal weight
  • Insulated version adds a layer of continuous filament insulation for even more warmth

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not a good product... woke up flat on the ground as the title indicates. After trying to repair numerous (non-visible / micro) leaks. I gave up with this product. I took a white water rafting trip through the grand canyon and 14 nights of camping I was resorted to sleeping on the ground. Each night I would try to patch more micro leaks (after finding them with soap and water) and there was no end to the number of micro repairs i had to make. I'll be sorting a refund for this product as you don't pay $149 (plus shipping) to sleep on the floor. Should they not refund me I'll gladly call my credit card and create a charge back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor quality This sleeping pad has very poor construction or materials. Despite treating it very carefully it has developed numerous leaks that originate in the small contours. I have repaired many sleeping pads and often buy them used from people who don't know how to fix them, so I am not a novice, but this pad is impossible to keep up with all the defects that leak.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Slippery; buy wider 25R I have used this sleeping pad only in car camping, summer, under gentle conditions (it will get some harder living soon). Pros. Easy to pump and deflate. I assume the thermal properties will be there when needed. Ability to fold deflated sl pad into a small package is welcome. I prefer the horizontal baffles but others might have a hip problem (lower sacroiliac will sink). Cons: The surface is more slippery than I expected. The sl pad slides around on the tent floor, and my sleeping bag slides around on top of it, with the result that it is difficult to "build" the layers within a confined tent space and have them stay put, and difficult to stay on top of the sl pad in use. A lot of wrangling involved for something that should be simpler. Rolling over might take the sleeper substantially off the sl pad. The wider, 25R sl pad might improve the situation. I tried out several sl pads, and Nemo is the brand that made the cut, but I don't love this model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective product! Good thing I always test before going out in the wild. I inflated the Vector 25l in my living room and took an hour nap on it only to wake up with my butt on the ground. So I checked all the valves again and repeated the process. Same result...would not hold air. I paid almost 260 bucs for this and the luxury pillow. Sending them both back for a refund. I would like to remain a loyal NEMO customer, but cannot justify a simple exchange for a product that never made it out of my living room. I would expect a good company like NEMO to have some sort of quality control before selling anything - at lease a quick test to see if their products hold air!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed from this product! Hello, I was very happy when I bought my sleeping pad specially for my Aconcagua expedition that was 3 weeks ago (February 2017) but on the fourth night I found my self on the ground - the sleeping pad deflated :( I am very disappointed to see I paid $197 (with delivery) and used it for just 4 nights. I tried to find out how can I repair the sleeping pad with patches included but didn't find any info of how can I find the "place problem" from where the air is going out... didn't find any hole, and tried to listen from where the air is going out - but didn't find. I will appreciate any help of how can I find from where the air is going out - there is no any hole! Thank You.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty much perfect Just returned from a weeklong loop through the Snowmass Wilderness with this insulated Vector and it was flawless. The guys I led were envious of the footpump after long days of hard hiking to set up camp. The few extra ounces for the included pump were well worth it to me. It is warm, lightweight and QUIET. Probably the quietest pad I have among my thermarest, big agnes and other nemo pads. I slept great all week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Combo! Replaced a very noisy Neoair pad with this gem. Got it the day of a backpacking trip, threw it in and hoped for the best without trying it. Love this pad from the get go. Lightweight even with the pump, super comfy, and most importantly, the quietest pad around. Was skeptical of the integrated foot pump, but it worked great, and took only about 20 seconds longer to inflate than my boyfriend airing up his Big Agnes Q-Core SL by mouth. Way quieter, and just as comfy, but with a bigger price tag, the Nemo is still my choice. Should have waited until it was on sale, but couldn't take another trip with the noise of the Neoair. The Nemo is warm, quiet, well made, keeps both you and your bag on the pad, and the long/wide size is an awesome option (I'm 5'9" and like to sprawl a bit). We had a water bladder leak in our tent over night and although the underside of the Nemo was soaking wet, I was bone dry, and it dried out within a few minutes of removing it from the tent. Can't say enough good things about this pad!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A quick flat... I really like the design and am amazed by the weight and size compared to the comfort but I bought it not two months ago and on my fourth backpacking trip, it started deflating so that I woke up flat on the ground. I repaired it and it seems to hold so far but it definetely lowered my trust in the product... I am wondering if it's sturdy enough to be used on a long backpacking.
