DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! I have had my quilt for about 2 years. It is my favorite of all my sleep systems because it is light, compact and warm. As a woman, I was concerned that it wouldn't be warm enough...I was wrong. I prefer to sleep outside, and have had it into the 30's without issue. I only wish there was an even warmer quilt option for my winter trips (I have to use my rhapsody 15).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! Light, warm, comfortable, versatile I bought this bag last week and used it over the weekend on a glamping trip with my dad, brother, and nephews. Slept two nights in my hammock with the Siren and an insulated air chamber sleeping pad. Temps were around 50 degrees F at night and I can't believe how comfortable I was. I assumed I would overheat but when I was hot I could poke a leg out or fold down the top. I am certain I would be comfortable down to 25 or 30 degrees in my tent with this bag. I mainly purchased the Siren so I could have a super light and packable bag for backpacking and camping in the summer. I overheat in almost every sleeping bag I have if the temp is over 30 degrees. The siren is perfect for hammock sleeping as well. So easy to get in and out of and very adaptable to changing temps. Very happy with this purchase. Can't wait to take it out on some backpacking trips. I can see myself using this for almost every adventure or trip I go on. Very, very versatile and well executed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it just completed a 12 day backpacking trip and the siren performed very well. Surprisingly warm for the weight. Due to the lengthy of the trip I wanted to go light and the siren was perfect. It is a bit pricey but I am happy I got it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Down quilt This is my first quilt and thus far it has exceeded my expectations. I typically have used it hammock camping as my top quilt (have a zpacks underquilt). It's easy to use and I like that if wanted it you can use the strings to attach to a pad better. I took them off entirely though. My only complaint (aka why it's not 5 stars) is the price and lack of available color schemes (i'm not a yellow fan)- Overall it's really warm and gets very compact just wish it was a bit cheaper w/color options. Thanks Nemo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As good as it gets. I must have 25 different sleeping bags. This is the one I use. I do use it below freezing with a jacket on. It packs very small. When you hold it in your hand you think "there is no way I will be warm enough". It take a bit of getting used to sleeping directly on a mat sometimes I take a silk liner and put the pad in it.

When are you going to install 25 to 30in air pads into this type of sledping bag? That be super nice

Asked by: Georgerosado
Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us! While you bring up an admittedly GREAT point, we don't do anything on the manufacturing level. That would be Nemo directly. We have various vendors who check in on our site periodically, just to get a feel for what people are saying/thinking. Y'know, reading the reviews, questions and whatnot. So, from your fingertips, to Nemo's head of customer relations! Here's hoping they run with your idea! Hope this helped you out. Hugsies.
