The NEMO Dragonfly Bikepack 2P Tent is a bikepacking tent for spacious living in a lightweight package. If you're carrying your home on your bike, you might as well keep the weight low, poles short and packability high. The freestanding structure offers a 29 square foot floor area and peak height of 41 inches, while the poles fold shorter than a regular tent. Included is a carry bag that is durable and features tiedowns so you can attach it directly to your bike during travel. Grab a friend as this will fit two for sleeping and dual doors and vestibules offer quick exits and gear storage. The muted colors of this tent combined with non-reflective material make it easier to camp with stealth. Really though, be respectful on your adventure.

This tent went up in about 37 seconds and provided us all the comfort and room we needed. We had mild weather, so I can’t tell you how it handles anything rough, but for a quiet night in the colorado high country, it was perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JoeP from Great Decision This is a great tent. It's remarkably light and well designed. I specifically bought it for the bikepack version's short poles which make it easier to strap onto my bike, but I'm also planning to use this tent when I go backpacking on foot. It's fully featured with pockets and gear loft inside. The vestibule gear tub thing is kind of gimmicky - I use it because it is included, but if it were an add-on accessory, I would not pay extra for it. The tradeoff with the low weight and nice features is that it is relatively more expensive than some tents and the material is thin and feels like it will be less durable than some options. Don't get me wrong, I think it's durable enough for me to get several years of use, and I'm planning to let my kids help me put it up and take it down. What I mean is, for $100 less, you could buy a tent that you might feel like you could throw around a bit more but it would weigh 2+ pounds more, but it all depends on your perspective. Among the class of bikepack-specific, freestanding tents this is a good bargain on a very nice tent.

I actually bought it for backpacking and it’s only 6oz heavier than the backpacking version if you keep the original stuff sack. Also, the tent poles are much shorter than their backpacking counterpart, so I can stuff the whole bundle horizontally in my pack. I find the colors much more appealing than the fluorescent green and I can’t get over how handy the Landing Zone attachment is. Now I can leave my pack outside the tent without fussing about sitting it on mud/water/snow. The one handed toggle tie backs took a moment to get the hang of, but they’re so much easier than trying to pop a tiny piece of plastic through a loop. Also, the addition of the daisy chain out side the tent but inside the fly is wonderful. It gives me plenty of places to hang stuff that I might not necessarily want to bring in with me. Setup is a breeze. Everything is color coded, so you have to really try to mess things up. The worst of it is trying to figure out how the Landing Zone clips in. After that, it’s all smooth hiking in my brand new tent.

The integrity of the tent was gone. I was 20 miles into back country and stranded because of this defective tent. For this price, it was an epic disappointment. I repeat DO.NOT.BUY.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mike R from Incredible tent I bought this tent for a bikepacking trip this past July 2021. We road 25 miles to the Sangre de Cristo mountains to camp. The bag is set up perfectly for strapping to my bike (drop bars) it tightened down nicely so there was minimal wobble while riding. Setup is a breeze with one person and even breezier with two people. The color coded webbing makes for a no brainer setup too. There are plenty of well placed guy line points. The loading zone is a really nice touch to keep gear up off the ground. I would like to have two though for when there are two us is in the tent. My wife (4'11" 110 lb) and I (5'8" 135 lb) fit comfortably in our Nemo Disco sleeping bags with room to spare. Conveniently place pockets were great for storing small items. We got rain the nice we bikepacked and we stayed nice and dry. I also used this early in the year to test it out on a 3 day canoe trip. Over all a great, super light tent, that has all the features one might want for this kind of tent. Highly recommend.

The tent, fly, and poles fit neatly in the weatherproof bag that comes with the tent and which will easily attach to handle bars. The tent poles are shorter than normal to accommodate the tight packing needs of bike packing. Set-up is easy with color coded poles and loop (holes) on the tent body. Interior pockets make storing items at night easy and webbing on the exterior allows you to air out your gear without leaving it exposed on the ground. I’m very happy with the purchase and even happier with the speed with which Moosejaw sent the tent after I purchased it on line.
