Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfy Just took this out for our first run this weekend. Camping the Canadian Rockies. Big winds and heavy rain, this think stayed dry and didn't sway an inch. We did get condensation inside the fly, even with the vents open. But temps dropped to about 2 degrees overnight, so perhaps that's reasonable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Backpacking Tent I have always been a fan of Nemo and use most of their products. Their tents however, are by far their best products! Super lightweight, easy to set up, and very packable. During my first night with this tent, I had to set it up in the dark, although I did have a headlamp. It was super easy to set up, even though I had never set it up before. Very durably built while saving weight. Super easy set up. Totally worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best tent on the market This tent is extremely light and durable, can't wait to take it to Isle Royal. Sets up is easy and compresses down to fit In the smallest space on my pack. I bought the 3 person because I like to have a little extra room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nemo Dagger 3P Tent Bought this tent for a 7 day hike in Killarney Provincial Park in Canada ... loved how lightweight it was and how small it packed up. Had rain 2 nights and the fly keep everything dry ... lovely large vestibules on both sides provided plenty of space for our packs and boots ... very comfortably slept 2 of us plus my dog ... could easily have fit our packs in the tent too if needed ... with a bit of McGyvering was able to take down the tent under the fly to keep everything dry when packing up in the rain ... love, love, love this tent!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable tent Lived out of this tent for four months from philly to glacier to the north cascades to jasper. Not once did I get wet from heavy rain, non condensation from the ground. It's ten times better than my hilleberg

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE Nemo Tents!!!! Just got my Dagger 3P and did a quick pitch on my deck and MAN I love this thing! For reference, I've been using the Losi 3P for the past 1.5 years and it was crazy good... TONS of space (I Motorcycle camp by myself and I just love elbow room) However, my Losi is now in the hands of a homeless lady so I was looking for something new... maybe lighter and "maybe" a bit smaller? So I gave the the Nemo Galaxy 2p a try... it's a great tent and fantastic value but I quickly realized why I had been using a 3P tent for the last several years... I just like space... and I might be slightly claustrophobic. Sold the Galaxy2 after one night in it. Reality is the Losi3 was just a bit bigger, heavier, and packed heavier (although the Losi stuff sack thing is genius) than I really needed but the 2p is just too snall for me. But I digress. After setting up the Dagger 3 and jumping inside and I was like... PERFECT. For me, anyway. Perfect size, weight, packability, etc.... can't say enough good about the quality of this Nemo stuff. They get it. No way I'd try to sleep with 3 people in this thing but easily 2 and a pooch would be quite cozy... or one guy with lots of moto gear and he'll be one happy camper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent design, quality materials I tested out and compared this tent with Big Agnes Seedhouse and Fly Creek. The design, ease of use and material quality on the Nemo were found to be superior. The tent is large and roomy and the vestibule design keeps gear dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dagger is Superior to Copper Spur Had the pleasure of using both the Nemo Dagger and Big Agnes Copper Spur within a five day period. Here in Utah the Spur is the most popular seller and one reason why I purchased it. I started out with the Spur my first trip with this tent. The only two advantages I see that favor of the Spur is it is 5 ounces lighter and has better interior tent storage pockets. Not much of an advantage considering what the Dagger has to offer in terms of really relevant and what I would consider more essential design features. The Dagger has a bath tub floor the Spur does not. I camped in both tents during torrential downpour rains and without a bath tub floor water was an issue. The zippers were superior on the Dagger never got caught on the fly once whereas it was constant problem on the Spur. The fly on the Dagger is superior both in storage functionality (the vestibule gets staked out differently which earns its advantage) and can be kept taut whereas the Spur's fly is more limp and hence more difficult to dry out in the morning after a storm. The mesh on the Spur is very delicate and the first trip out I needed to patch a small hole due to swatting at bee that flew into the tent. I suspect overall durability is on the side of the Dagger. To be fair that is only a guess since I have used each only once. Also thought the foot print was more solid and durable than the Spur. For a three season tent I am of the opinion that the Nemo Dagger for the money is at the top of its class. Please do not get seduced as I was by the idea that the Spur is somehow better because it is 5 ounces lighter.

Asked by: jhof
Hey there jhof, Thanks for your question. The Dagger 3P does not come with a footprint, and we currently do not carry it. You can order it directly from Nemo right here: http://www.nemoequipment.com/product/?p=Dagger%203P%20Footprint Hope this helps!
