Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted This belt is perfect. It fits just right, holds a good amount of water and has a spot for gels without being bulky.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Peak Hydration Waist Pak I like the minimalist of this hydration belt because I don't consume too much fluid on a long run. However, I have trouble getting it to stay around my hips. For the price I think this is a very practical belt that can hold enough fluids for most longer runs while still allowing you to carry a phone or nutrition without tying the hands up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't leave home without this one This one is a staple for me. Super comfortable and has just enough storage for the essentials. The flask is perfect for a longer trail run and doesn't leak or move around. I just purchased one for my wife so she can stop stealing mine. Love this product and I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for SUP I wanted a minimalist pack to hold water and little else while paddleboarding. It does not compete with a PFD when I need to wear one. Extracting and replacing the bottle with one hand works fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall Good belt Planning on using this for the Spartan NJ Ultra soon. Feels pretty good during some training runs and I just ordered a spare bottle so I can swap at the drop bin and not waste time refilling a bladder. My only issue is that the belt seems to loosen up after a couple miles. My solution is that I'm going to stitch one side and safety pin the other to keep it tight on me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I've had two of these waist paks. Had my first one for 3 years until it lost a battle with my dog. Side note: don't leave an empty GU packet in the pocket... your dog may rip it open to get at it! I really like my second pak, which is this one, compared to the original one I had. The bottle material is thinner, which I didn't like at first because it felt cheap, but there a noticeable difference in the weight of the pak when actually running with it. No issues with the bottle leaking. The pak does need to be pretty tight for no bounce. Being a women, it naturally fits around the thinnest part of my waist which is higher then I'd like, but I've gotten used to it. As far as the pocket sizing, I can't fit my iPhone 6 in it. I do have an Otterbox case on it, but even if I didn't, it probably still wouldn't fit or it would be an extremely tight fit. I don't run with my phone normally so this is not an issue for me. I do for races so my support team can track me, but the phone easily clips onto the belt without being in the way. Plenty of room for a key, chapstick and energy gel plus the bungy cord on the other side for more storage. I considered the belt with the smaller bottles, but read many reviews on the bottles leaking and/or the bottle holders ripping away from the belt. Overall a great product and would definitely recommend it. I'm sure my first one would have lasted a very long time if my dog wouldn't have gotten a hold of it!

What does the gray plastic piece do?

Asked by: Sumrsun27
Thanks for the question! The grey circle piece on top of the bottle is where the water comes out. You push it down to keep water from spilling out and pull up to drink. you can pull it up with your hands or mouth/teeth. I hope this helps!
