Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.
Are you Sure?
Our Rewards Program is completely FREE and easy to use.
By opting out, you forfeit all the Moosejaw Rewards Dollars your currently have in your account, which is basically throwing away free money. What would your grandmother say about that? If you're 100% sure, please click "OptOut" below.
We want to make extra-sure you realize that you've added a special order item to your cart. These items take a little longer to get to you because we have to order from the manufacturer first. The "Est. Ship Date" is the date we expect items to leave our warehouse... so add your chosen shipping speed to see when it will show up at your door.

Dig this Pack!I bought this pack about a year ago. I really enjoy the 3 way zip, it allows access to the top or to the entire pack. It cinches down really tight, I haven't had any issues with the straps. I haven't had any issues with quality. Mystery Ranch has made a great product. I am very happy with the backpack. 2 minor nitpicks would be bottom loops for attaching things to the bottom and additional storage inside the backpack, however for a day pack or even over night pack this backpack covers all bases. I've used it as a carry-on and have had no issues fitting it on a plane. Can't recommend enough!

Good condition of Bag and speedy DeliveryI bought my bag with a good price and excellent quality. Excellent comfortability. I tried to put heavy stuff in it, but it's back frame can share my load to my back and shoulder in balance.

SturdyThe good: Durable, many lash points, carries heavy loads well for its size. The bad: Waistbelt pockets are much too small to be useful and also make it impossible to attach items to belt such as a knife. The hip belt wings need to be longer to cushion the plastic belt glides from pressing into hip bones..

Great PackJust got back from a 5 day archery elk hunt in the Frank Church River of No Return Wlderness area in Idaho. I carried the Scree every day with 25 - 30 lbs in it. I didn't have a single issue with the pack, and it was more than capable than carrying more weight than I had in it. It's so versatile, I even was able to creat a binocular harness that fit onto the shoulder straps. Cant say enough good things about this pack..

Good packSolid pack, as are most mystery ranch products. Has two pockets on the top flap and little ones on the cumberbun, which I find convenient. Water resistant zipper is a little tough to slide but it has its function to be water resistant

This is one tough pack, comfortable to carry for extended periods of time, and gives me quick access to my gear when I need it.After using a Terraplane for years and seeing how rugged and basically indestructible it has been, I bought the Scree to carry essentials for shorter excursions. This is one tough pack, comfortable to carry for extended periods of time, and gives me quick access to my gear when I need it. I am very satisfied with this pack and have used it for 3 years now (I still use the Terraplane too --after 20 years).

Another Great MR Pack!Another great pack! There are so many cheap daypacks on the market, but Mystery Ranch always delivers on high quality at a great value. This pack is a bit heavier than some cheaper packs, but all of the features make it worth it. It has a burly frame sheet for load support, well padded shoulder straps and a well designed padded hip belt. This pack is great for short or long day hikes. I have 4 Mystery Ranch packs for different types of hikes and every one of them is of the highest quality and performance. I highly recommend this pack!
What are the dimensions(height, width, depth) of this pack? For carry on purposes.
Asked by: owen
Hey, Owen!!
This pack comes in at a fighting height of: 26 x 14.5 x 11 inches which makes it slightly taller than most airlines allow for carry on. But you can totally squishy (technical term) down the top to reduce it by 4 inches as long as you aren't storing fragile china in your pack, I suppose

Mystery Ranch Scree Daypack- what is the size details between S, M/L and XL
Asked by: Orion
Hiya Orion, thanks for your question! The packs are the same size, however, the torso sizes are different. Size small fits a 16 - 18 inch torso, M/L fits 19 - 22 inch torso and XL fits 22 - 24 inch torso.
If you do not know your torso size, follow these directions to get the measurements:
1. Tilt your head forward and feel for the bony bump where the slope of your shoulders meets your neck. This is your 7th cervical (or C7) vertebra—and the top of your torso length.
2. On each side of your body, slide your hands down the ribcage to the top of your hip bones (aka the iliac crest). With index fingers pointing forward and thumbs pointing backward, draw an imaginary line between your thumbs. This spot on your lumbar is the bottom of your torso measurement.
3. Stand up straight and have a friend measure (you'll need a flexible measuring tape) the distance between the C7 and the imaginary line between your thumbs. That’s your torso length.
Hope this helps!
