Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid lightweight pack Plenty of volume, great frame and suspension only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of interior organization options. This might be a plus for some.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fanastic Day Bag I bought the Scree a few months ago and it is amazing. Hiking in Colorado, the bag's adjustable features are fantastic. The 3 zipper feature is killer to organize and grab stuff quickly. The durable construction will last for years with a double lined bottom. It feels like your not even wearing a bag even though the bag is on the heavy side compared to other day bags. Perfect for uber light overnight camping in Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP. Side pouches easily hold big water bottles and strap down. Two inside pouches for keys, snacks, headlamp. Geat hip comfort. The only con is that the rain fly is sold seperately. Perfect day pack. Don't be fooled. This bag is where it's at.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Close, but Not Quite M.R should redesign this entire bag. The waist belt pockets are almost unusable. What do you carry, a stack of 5 or 6 band-aids? The front zipper sticks, load is not transferred to hips, back material will leave you hot/sweaty, and if you adjust the torso high enough if needed, load lifter straps sit funny. One of the pockets on the top lid is tiny. I'm assuming either nobody at Mystery Ranch tested this bag, or the powers that be don't listen to feedback. Also, the colors are not that great and the frame sheet doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the bag. It just sits towards the top of your back, in a thin pocket so you can loosen the velcro which allows the user to adjust the torso length. My shoulders and neck hurt enough that I returned the bag, never to purchase again. The gray version has an orange handle (odd), and the rest of the colors are rather shiny and fugly. Some colors on Google images and M.R video have been color corrected to look better than they are. No matter what color you get, the waist belt has a gray outline, as if M.R was to cheap to invest in different colors to match each bag. I've read negative things on the zippers of the bags made overseas. Just my two cents that you may or may not agree with. This was just my experience. Most YouTubers seem like paid advertisements more than actual reviews. I watch reviews and get excited about a bag, just to be disappointed after wearing the bag. Waist belt zippers do zip/unzip with one hand, which is about the only plus to this bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome simple pack Small enough to use for work or school and still big enough for a multiday pack. The tri zipper feature is extremely useful. Very adjustable frame.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing pack I bought this pack for a 60 mile "ruck" that i was doing over memorial day. Im prior military and i spend a fair amount of time hiking and camping. I needed to pack for 3 days and needed to hold sleeping system, 5 liters of water, food, clothes, etc and this pack held it all. While others had giant packs, i was confident that i could fit everything i needed in this one and it held up. ive been a fan of MR for a while now and i definitely wasnt let down. Moosejaw......what can i say about moosejaw, amazing customer service, fast shipping, great prices, all around amazing company. Ill be ordering alot more from this company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As good as MR's US-made packs I have two other MR packs, both US-made, and wasn't sure if this overseas-made pack would live up to their quality, but this one does. The fit and finish are excellent, all interior seams are taped with webbing, and stitches are even and straight. Like all MR packs, it carries so comfortably that the load feels lighter than it is.

What are the dimensions(height, width, depth) of this pack? For carry on purposes.

Asked by: owen
Hey, Owen!! This pack comes in at a fighting height of: 26 x 14.5 x 11 inches which makes it slightly taller than most airlines allow for carry on. But you can totally squishy (technical term) down the top to reduce it by 4 inches as long as you aren't storing fragile china in your pack, I suppose

Mystery Ranch Scree Daypack- what is the size details between S, M/L and XL

Asked by: Orion
Hiya Orion, thanks for your question! The packs are the same size, however, the torso sizes are different. Size small fits a 16 - 18 inch torso, M/L fits 19 - 22 inch torso and XL fits 22 - 24 inch torso. If you do not know your torso size, follow these directions to get the measurements: 1. Tilt your head forward and feel for the bony bump where the slope of your shoulders meets your neck. This is your 7th cervical (or C7) vertebra—and the top of your torso length. 2. On each side of your body, slide your hands down the ribcage to the top of your hip bones (aka the iliac crest). With index fingers pointing forward and thumbs pointing backward, draw an imaginary line between your thumbs. This spot on your lumbar is the bottom of your torso measurement. 3. Stand up straight and have a friend measure (you'll need a flexible measuring tape) the distance between the C7 and the imaginary line between your thumbs. That’s your torso length. Hope this helps!
