Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Great tent for our summer tripWe just returned from car camping two days in Colorado and this tent worked great for my wife, small dog and me. The tent packed up easily, has plenty of small pockets and plenty of ventilation. Definitely recommend.

Roomy & lightWe bought this tent after using an MSR Hubba Hubba 2-person tent for about a decade. With a toddler and a medium-sized dog as part of our family now, we were a bit cramped in the smaller tent. This one is perfect. It packs down super small and light, sets up really easily, and feels roomy enough inside for all of us. The gear stash pockets are great, and the doors open up really wide, which makes it easy to get in and out, and to look out on a beautiful morning view if you keep the rainfly unzipped. We've camped with it twice now and got a little rain and stayed dry. Overall, I'm really happy with the tent. My only wish is that the footprint would be back in stock!

Has Weathered Texas Wind and Rain Just FineThree trips in West Texas winds really flare up at night. Two trips with rain. Tent weathered them all and cleaned up early once home.

broke it in with a stormI'm not sure if I'm lucky or stupid but my first camping trip in this tent is during a storm I was not expecting (20-30 mph winds, gusts to 45 mph), with rain and some hail loud enough to wake me up (I'm a heavy sleeper generally). I'm getting plenty of ventilation (especially with staking the rainfly down to make the front and back vestibule portion (but it might be the wind), yet totally dry. Absolutely impressed overall with this tent. I'm also a petite person (5'1"") and think this tent could fit 4 smaller people, including myself, actually. If I knew I would have just bought the 2 person tent. I was also torn between the hubba hubba and the zoic but settled on this because of it's durability and because I don't backpack that often and only for short overnight trips. I mostly do frontcountry camping and hiking.

Not what I was hoping for.I spent one trip car camping and another backpacking with this tent so far. In both situations, the ventilation was pretty poor. There was an amazing amount of condensation on the inside of the rain fly (and there were only two of us in this 3-person tent). The lack of any option for venting seems like a big omission. Another negative is that the stuff sack is ridiculously small. It's a challenge to get the tent in and adding a footprint would not work at all. Another disappointing detail is the way the third pole just lays across the other two poles at the peak. My previous tent was a Big Agnes Copper Spur and it had a specific fitting at the peak that the third pole snapped into. It's a pretty affordable tent so I guess that's a place they were able to save costs. On the plus side, the door design is works well and the zippers are smooth. There are plenty of storage pockets inside. It seems durable--moreso than the Big Agnes it replaced. Being able to tension the fly stake loops is really nice. Overall, the negatives outweigh the positives and I would not recommend this tent.

Great for the Blue RidgeI bought this for my wife and I to go backpacking. We live near the Blue Ridge Mountains in VA and frequently backpack. It's a little heavy at 6lbs but if you split up the poles and tent between two people it's not too bad. The size is perfect. We had an extra an Quarter(or half dome?) Dome 3 footprint and it fit it perfectly. The size is amazing for two people and gear. It feels massive. There's 1 gear hammock for each person. 3 or 4 side pockets for stuffing things. The vestibule is pretty big; it fit my pack and boots no problem. I used the MSR Access 2 tent in RMNP backpacking and loved it so much I got the Zoic. The Zoic is perfect for hot and humid places. I love it. I'd add photos but they're too big for their requirements.
Oh the new ones are seam sealed but they also give you a bottle of sealant with the tent. I didn't know this and sealed the fly before asking MSR if it was sealed. So you can double seal it. In the Shenandoah it can rain buckets so definitely do that.

Fast and Light Car Camping (is that a thing?)Simple and spacious = easy summer camping on the move. This tent was fantastic for our recent road trip/climbing trip. We never stayed any place more than two nights and it was no problem setting up and taking down this tent repeatedly. It easily fit three 25" wide pads and the internal pockets were super convenient. We were rained on and also had hot days where the light color and ventilation were appreciated. Can't wait to get out there again!
