Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4.85 Stars is not an option I purchased the 1.8L System over the 1L system as this system allows for a remote fuel canister and a lower center of gravity. I purchased the compatible 1L Windburner accessory pot, and 1L coffee press. I plan on predominately utilizing the 1L pot with the remote fuel system. Pros: Rapid Boil Easy storage Relatively Lightweight Cons The bowl on the bottom was not manufactured to slight into the 'snap-n-secure ring' on the bottom of the windburner stove. The bowl will fall off if not stowed with something against the bottom. This is an unfortunate oversight that is an easy fix on the manufacturing side. Overall: Happy with purchase. Would happily purchase 1 L with remote fuel system, however that was not an option. Other than that no cons for my intended use of backpacking, camping (3-7 nights), and car camping. I would not recommended for thru-hiking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, compact, works great! I bought this last month and it is a great upgrade from my old MSR WhisperLite. Very efficient and wind proof, packing compactly, light. Boils water & melts snow very fast. I have not owned it long enough to rate the durability, but it is so simply constructed that I have no worries. No built-in lighter, which would have been handy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stove Easy to set up and use. Like the way you can check to see how much fuel you have left. The best thing ineing able to cook with it and not just boil water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This system is amazing This stove truly lives up to its name. I recently took it along with me on a 3,000 mile road trip through Utah and Arizona where it performed beautifully day in and day out. Whether it was a quick boil of some water (and it really was quick, the heat dispersement system on the bottom of the 1.8L accessory pot usefully spreads the heat around the full base, and not just the bottom) for morning coffee or getting scrambled eggs to their desired consistency with the easily adjustable burner. The highlight of the stove during the trip was at 7000' feet in a very, very windy night in Capitol Reef. Simmering some noodles for spaghetti at night and coffee and hot cereal in the morning was absolutely no issue with the WindBurner. Not to mention the new satellite base keeps the height lower and more stable in unstable conditions. This stove system is incredibly versatile from sea level to 7000'+ and in incredibly windy conditions. The WindBurner pot and skillet are a great addition to this system, especially for car camping where space isn't an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Awesome! After lots of research, I purchased the WB-Duo and am more than pleased! Works as better than advertised with increased stability over my older system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the modular design! Love the modular design and nesting capability. I took a trip recently and had no issues in the wind at about 35 degrees out. I plan on using the 1.0 pot for MTB trips.

Can you use this to boil pasta?

Asked by: Pasta king
Hey Pasta King! Thanks for your question! This stove system is great for boiling all sorts of things, but especially pasta. It depends on how much you want to make at one time, but it can definitely make a few servings at once. Hope this helps!
