Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

its very good and itits very good and it will not tip over if you have it filled and try to pour out the contents. Also if you pour the fluids out at a faster speed it wont dribble over the sides. These were the 2 complaints I kept hearing about. I could see an improvement on the second issue with maybe an indent area on the edge where you can pour the contents and it wont dribble. One last thing that can easily be corrected is to have at least 2 volume markers on the pot. While your at it how about adding a canvas or nylon carrying bag for it.

775ml stowaway potI just recieved my 775ml sized stowaway pot and have to say it is built very nicely. The complaints I heard was it doesnt pour out cleanly and runs down the side. Thats true IF you pour slowly. If you pour it out a little faster it does not dribble. Second, the handle isnt sturdy especially when you pour out the contents the pot can collapse on the tilt. That is not true either. I filled it all the way up and with the locking tab slid close to the pot the handle held straight and the pot did not collapse over. I havent cooked anything yet to see if the handle gets too hot or if theres uneven heating so i will have to get back on this .But overall its compact size and stainless metal seems it will work excellent out in the field.

It’s ok but…I have used the 1.6l pot for a little over a year now while camping in the uk; together with the pocket rocket.
I’ve found heat transfer across the bottom of the pot very poor, meaning unless you are only using this to boil water, you get a hotspot on the bottom that burns almost anything even at low stove temperatures. Pouring out is also tricky as the handle isn’t stable.
The only use where I’d say this would excel is for melting snow in the winter or only boiling water, not cooking.
It seems well made and the lid locking handle is a nice feature, but I’ve found it’s not that versatile.

Alpine stowaway potsGood solid pots. Handles are a great feature, no more lost pot grippers. I would purchase again.

Great Design but HeavyI absolutely love this pot design. I’d just really like to see it in titanium. The latching lid is my favorite feature. Being able to latch the lid down not only enables it not to rattle around in my pack but I can also store leftovers inside of it. Just wish it was a fraction of the weight. I’d love to see this classic design made in titanium.

Fits my needsI bought this to hold my little camp stove and it works perfectly. Have not tried it over a flame yet but it feels very sturdy. Will let you know if it's not.

775ml after 13+ yearsI was putting together a survival kit as a Boy Scout and needed a pot that latched. I wanted durability and I found it. It has gone everywhere with me, 48 States and 9 other countries everywhere. At over 3/4 a liter, the size I got is perfect for one person meals and storing the bear necessities. It has one dent and has traveled 43,000 miles with me by sea. My 1 year old Titanium pot scorches fast and has a few dents already. The Stowaway has protected everything I've put in it. It's not so much my survival kit anymore as a small things catch all. If I lose something small it's usually because I squirreled it away in the pot. Or didn't keep it there to begin with. It doesn't have bells and whistles like graduated markings and a pour spout. I can definitely tell those could be useful, but as I've never poured water from the larger ones, I can't say. The 775ml pours into a nalgene well enough. I don't see the point in carrying a silicone spout, but they exist and slip on over the wall of most pots. Weight is and is not a concern when it comes to equipment, if it's worth the weight you carry it. I go for rugged stuff and then look at weight. Haven't noticed any wear in the pocket of my pack where the pot sits, but some items have an odd shape that you want to pad with something. My hat goes on top of my pot and pads my bag from it, much like I pad the tent poles that I can feel through the end of my rolled tent. Take care of your gear and it will take care of you.
