Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.

A great tent, with caveatsI read a lot of reviews about this tent before making the decision to buy it. Firstly, I think the version you purchase will make a big difference to it's performance. By versions I mean; a) what market it is for and, b) which year you purchased it. I purchased the European version (in the UK), and the 2018 version. There are distinct differences and will affect performance from the point of view of water protection. The reason there are distinctions seems to be because; a) the european versions come with a mesh liner for the vestibule door, b) the european version is still seam sealed with the durashield coating rather than the xtreme shield, and c) the 2018 version has additional guy points on the non-vesituble end of the tent. These differences mean that (at least with my tent), there is no water leakage through the seams, the mesh helps with the ventilation and the extra guy points keep the inner away from the outer so the condensation does not touch the inner from the outer. As these points seem to be the main problems reported by others, I have found that I've had none of the issues because of the above. I always deploy all guylines to keep taut. However.....the general design of the tent in wet weather or camping on wet grass or humid areas (like of often found in the UK), does mean that you get condensation on the inside of the outer tent. However, it's not any worse than most other tents for similar conditions and does not get my inner tent wet at all. It could be slightly alleviated by more vents and possibly putting a sheet down where there is exposed ground in the vestibule. With the bad points out of the way, I have to say, this is an absolutely excellent tent. Packs small, relatively light for the size, multiple uses (I use for car camping and cycle touring - my touring bike fits in the vestibule) and pitches outer first, which is ideal for UK weather. Love the massive vestibule, which I can sit in with my helinox ground chair.

leaked on the first usei like the foot print and especially the large vestibule but the first time i used the tent was on a kayaking trip to Tofino. the first night of rain the tent leaked at the seams this is how the tent is advertised on your site. 'From its exoskeleton design that helps the interior stay dry during setup, to its ultra-durable Xtreme Shield™ coating that helps keep out the wet, this tent handles the weather with comfort to spare." but when i complained the response from Cascade was the following. "'Seal the Seams for Heavy or Extended Rain: MSR chooses not to seam tape our lightweight tents because seam tape can flake off prematurely, leaving you without waterproof defense. Our precision stitching and water-resistant thread create a far more durable seam. If you are a foul-weather camper, we recommend sealing the seams with GEAR AID® Seam Grip +FCTM Fast Cure Sealant or Seam Grip +WPTM for maximum waterproof defense." While not the most expensive tent it is also not cheap and i would expect much better performance from an MSR tent.

Great tent for motocampingI've used this for several 2up moto-camping trips on my KTM 1290 SAS with my other half, and it's a great tent for it. We've tried several different style tents (from different manufacturers) over the years; from ones my bike could fit inside, to ones just bigger than a coffin. In the end, we settled on this because of the following: 1)The sleeping area is roomy, an exception to the usual rule of thumb, of needing +1 person up from what you actually need. 2)The vestibule offers plenty of space to store panniers/riding gear when I'm off the bike. Also space to dry wet gear out 3)The tent packs up small and is very light. Also the footprint space is fairly small 4)It's quick/easy to put up, especially handy if its raining. I actually purchased the Hubba Tour 1 tent for my solo adventures first, but the OH was so impressed with it she made me buy the Hubba Tour 2 for our 2up trips. The only problem we have with the Hubba Tour 2 (which the 1 doesn't seem to suffer from) is condensation. The vestibule gets it pretty badly, at least in the UK. On a morning there's usually a layer of moisture on the inside of the vestibule, and usually several water droplets on the ceiling. Opening the vents helps reduce this, but short of having just the mesh door open (not helpful in the rain), I don't think it can be avoided. On our 2017 model, condensation also caused problems for the sleeping area, as the rain-fly would 'sag' under the moisture, touch the inner, which would then become saturated and make anything that touched it wet (i.e. us!). This was rectified in the 2018 model, with additional guy rope loops being added to the non-vestibule side, which keeps the rain-fly taut and stops it sagging even in the rain. Also worth noting the '18 model has glow-in-the-dark zipper pulls and top/bottom guy-rope positions were relocated to more sensible (stronger) positions. All in all, a great tent for motocamping 2up and we intend to use for many trips to come.

Ideal tent for motocampingI've used this for several moto-camping trips on my KTM 1290 SAS and honestly believe it's the perfect tent for it. I've tried several different style tents (from different manufacturers) over the years; from ones my bike could fit inside, to ones just bigger than a coffin. In the end, I settled on this because of the following: 1)The sleeping area is quite roomy for a single person, without being too big 2)The vestibule offers plenty of space to store panniers/riding gear when I'm off the bike. Also space to dry wet gear out 3)The tent packs up small and is very light. Also the footprint space is fairly small 4)It's quick/easy to put up, especially handy if its raining. The OH was so impressed with it she made me go out and buy the Hubba Tour 2 version for trips with the two of us (see review with pictures). One thing to note, is that I purchased this back in 2017. I know that since then, the Hubba Tour 2 has received a minor face-lift (glow-in-the-dark zipper pulls, change to guy rope location and additional guy ropes on the non-vestibule side to help with condensation causing the outer and inner flysheets to touch). I'm not sure if the Hubba Tour 1 has received similar face-lifts, but even without them it's an excellent tent and I'd not hesitate to purchase another one.

Great Idea-Fundamental Design Faults? On paper - this tent looks ideal for cycle touring. Light, good size, some great design features like the vestibule (that i could get my bike into), two entrances, and from a top manufacturer. However - I found some basic flaws, at least in the 2017 version (purchased Oct 2017). These are: a) Leaking. First significant rain, water was pooling in the corners of the vestibule and wicking through the cloth links between the inner and outer tents over the sleeping area (after 3 hours of moderate rain). I couldnt believe what i was seeing, but when i tested it again in my garden, the same thing happened. Other reviewers have noted the same problem with leaking. This makes the tent virtually useless, particularly in the UK. The idea is that you should be able to get into your tent and be dry (other than condensation). b) Inner tent is too close to the outer flysheet, and touches. Again, others have reported this too. When i was touring, i lengthened the connecting hooks with elastic bands as a temporary fix and this helped a bit - but again, i was very surprised at such a basic design flaw. I hope that MSR have addressed these issues - it felt to me that this tent had not been tested adequately before being put on the market. To add to the problems - i got absolutely no response from Cascade (MSR) warranty when i e-mailed them. This is appauling. I'm sorry MSR, but this isnt good enough. I was fortunate enough to have bought the tent from Addnature - who have outstanding customer service. Although it was 10 months after purchase when i contacted them, they responded immediately and paid for the tent to be shipped back to Germany from the UK for testing. They then offered a full refund " ....as the supplier has not been able to provide a satisfactory response to a possible solution, or reason for defect. ". Read into that what you will. Absolutely brilliant service from Addnature though, and i would buy with confidence from them in the future.

I would not recommend this tent to anyone!Yes, it's lightweight and easy to carry on the bike but the positives end there! I bought this to go on my first ever cycle tour which culminated in travelling over 2,000 miles. The first disappointment came when I discovered that in rain the tent leaked around the zip and at the seams where the partial flysheet in the vestibule meets the outer skin. At one point in heavy rain I even had to climb into my bivisack as rain was dripping into the sleeping compartment and this was before I'd even left the UK! Further niggles arose when I realised that condensation on the inside of the tent, despite my try to keep the tent ventilated, meant that on the majority of mornings I was getting wet getting out. Further, dropping the tent when wet inside and due to the partial ground cover resulted in the inner getting wet and dirty! Yes, this tent is easy to put up however, after several months of travelling the elasticity in the poles had stretched to the point that keeping the poles together became difficult and really irritating! I travelled on my own and bought this tent after reading other reviews about MSR but in my view this product is not fit for purpose and not worth the money
Hiya Freeskier, thanks for your question! The vestibule door is made out of an insect resistant mesh material, but it is not necessarily netting. Hope this helps!

Does the main door have a secondary mesh door (to keep insects out) while providing ventilation in good weather?
Asked by: MotoBiker
Hey Motobiker!
Both the main tent doors are not meshed. But, the good news is: there is actually a mesh screen that you can zip down on the vestibule door. It's a pretty darn awesome setup!

I see that the square footage of the floor space 32 square feet. Is it safe to assume that is 8'x4'? What is the L X W in feet exactly? Thanks.
Asked by: Mozart
Hi Mozart, thanks for your question! Sorry for the missing dimensions in the description, all of the information and images are supplied directly from the manufacturer. This is a brand new item and MSR doesn't even have it available on their website yet.
Never fear, the folks at MSR gave me all the details... The main tent measures 52 inches wide and 88 inches long. The peak height is 38 inches. The vestibule adds an additional 25 feet of space. It is 88 inches long and the width can extend to 58 inches wide.
Hope this helps!
