Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Fair waterproof backpackThe material is not flexible enough, too plastic for me. However, these features make it very waterproof. I prefer more dealing with zippers and bucles than hooks.

This pack is really nice in construction and it seems to really be designed around the sleek urban scene. I bought this pack for carrying gear to and from the gym and Jiu Jitsu. I have found that keeping a change of workout clothes, a gi, and other miscellaneous gear in it is nearly impossible. The biggest flaw I see with this pack is the upside down pyramid approach. By not giving it the boxy bottom and pinching it down it really eliminates a lot of potential storage space. The bottom is not overly adjustable, if they added 4” more material around the bottom third of the bag and then gave two cinch straps it would be a more effective package. Due to how full the bag gets the bottle pockets don’t work well or at all, this could also be remedied with adding material to the pockets. My last critique is that the bag does not have a front zip pocket of any kind.
Overall, I think it is a good bag, I will still use it, but in terms of simple storage in a sleek package make sure you take a look at home much you want to get in it and possibly think about the next size up.

Great for ski dadsNeeded something to lash skis to, hike w/ and be small enough to stash under the seat on a plane. It worked GREAT for lashing 2 pairs of adult skis to for the walk from the truck to the lift. I had to clamp in a caribener to the c-clamp for the top

Very Versatile and Durable, features not for everyoneI've had it for a few months, and enjoy its versatility. I am not a climber, but use it for mostly hiking, ski touring, and traveling. The cinch chord does have tendency to come loose, I've used it more often with out the brain, where it functions better. I wish the main body had one small zipper pocket, for use with out the brain. I use the brain as a toiletry bag when traveling, great for leaving bedside while taking the pack out on the trail. Material is ultra durable. I love the stowable waist straps, great for on the airplane or other casual uses when you don't need them, and they stay out of the way.

Perfect for summiting technical peaksLightweight pack with all the functionality needed for a technical summit. 25L is just enough room to fit everything I need on the inside and there are ample outer attachments to affix ice axe, crampons, helmet and other climbing equipment.

Versatile packGreat pack with awesome features. Have used primarily for a climbing pack and has worked very well. I added a strap that goes around the two grab handles to secure the rope a bit better. The side pockets are great. Don’t really use them for bottles while climbing but I feel they are secure enough to stuff a wind shell or light layers into that you may want quickly at a belay. For hiking however the side pockets are great for a bottle. Internal gear sling is great for keeping that seldom used or rappel gear easily accessible. The hook closure is a bit finicky, I can see how some don’t like it. If the pack is not full you need to remove that strap from the keeper loop mid pack. You can then tighten it more. The back panel is very comfortable, my spine nestles between the two pads resulting in almost no pressure on the spine. Overall very happy with it.

Poor design, very disappointingI should have read the reviews before buying this pack. As others have said the poor design of the hook closure does not stay closed. How did this get by quality control? Obviously wasn’t tested. . I will be throwing this pack away and looking to purchase a different brand.

What Does the Mountain Hardwear Limited Lifetime Warranty Cover?
Mountain Hardwear's Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the practical lifetime of Mountain Hardwear brand products manufactured by Mountain Hardwear or its affiliates. Only original, unaltered, and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by their policy. The limited lifetime warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper care, misuse, accident, neglect, or the natural breakdown of materials over time. Products should be returned to Mountain Hardwear for evaluation. Items with defects in materials and workmanship will be repaired or a Virtual Merchandise Credit will be issued. Damages due to improper care or accident may be repaired at a reasonable rate. This policy is applicable to United States customers only.
How Long Does the Limited Warranty Last?
This Limited Lifetime Warranty lasts for the practical life of the product. Coverage ends if you sell or transfer the product. Proof of purchase may be required.
What Will Mountain Hardwear Do?
Their Warranty Department will inspect the product at no charge to you. If the Warranty Department determines, in its sole discretion, that the product has a defect covered under this Limited Warranty, they will repair or issue a Virtual Merchandise Credit equivalent to the MSRP value within approximately four weeks of inspection. Depending on the season or product, it may take longer to repair certain items. Mountain Hardwear will discard your product if your product is covered under their limited warranty policy. If you would like your original product returned instead of a Virtual Merchandise Credit, please check the box on the printable warranty form or call them no later than 10 days after you ship your product at 800-953-8398.
How Do You Get Warranty Services?
You may seek resolution directly through the retailer where you purchased the product, such as this website. In many cases, the retailer will be able to assist you.
US Customers - You can send your product to Mountain Hardwear, however, you will need to fill out the warranty form found on their WARRANTY PAGE, where you will also find a shipping address for returning your product.
International Customers - Visit the Mountain Hardwear WARRANTY PAGE to find information to assist you through the warranty process.
Please note that by law, products must be cleaned prior to sending. Items received by Mountain Hardwear that are deemed insufficiently cleaned will be returned to the customer unprocessed.
