Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Awesome Lightweight Pants but...First off these pants are amazing, super lightweight and comfortable!!! Are they perfect though.. not yet.. but they have the potential to be if Mountain Hardwear can fix some of their issues. First off, like the other reviewers have said the sizing is a little off. I'm a 38 waist, but if feels like the pants came with a 36 waist, so I had to size up to a 40 in order to button it. But in doing so, now the rest of the pants are too baggy. It's like I need the waistband from the 40 combined with the size 38 pants in order for it to be the perfect pair. The other issue I have is I wish these pants were more tapered at the bottom from the knee to the ankle.. or at least have the option to tighten them at the cuff with some minimal shockcord. If those 2 issues are fixed, I believe Mountain Hardwear would have the perfect pair of lightweight do-anything go-anywhere pants on the market, but for now I'm gonna stick with my Outdoor Research Zendo Joggers.

Fantastic pants with some to be desired in durability.Thru hiking the PCT and took these for a wind/sun pant. In those regards, they do phenomenal. I’m a person who loves hiking and shorts and resents pants, but these do a phenomenal job at keeping sun away from your legs. The big downside I’ve seen is durability. I haven’t used them to glissade or slide down rocks, since there’s no real scrambling out here or anything. But they’ve developed two small holes right in the butt, I assume just from sitting? I’ve worn them for maybe 7 days on trail so far, covering roughly 130 miles in that time. I’d recommend them for anything that avoids any rough stuff on the fabric itself.

Excellent Hiking and Travel PantsThese pants are the absolute best. I’ve got 4 pairs even though I probably only need 2. While hiking in Colorado, I would start my shower with them on…. Wash them while I wore them, Then hang them up to dry over night. They would be dry by 2:00 am.

Great Light and Breathable PantsVery light and breathable, perfect for hiking in arid environments, and for just general wearing around town. These have a lot of pockets, which is very handy as well. Since they are light and very packable, they are perfect for traveling or packing them for future use. I’m close to getting a second pair to have two sets for longer trips!

Lightweight pants for hot weather activitiesVery light, nearly weightless fabric, and fit is roomy around the hip area (I am 5’9, 155lb, ordered a size 31). I am thinking they will be ideal for warm/hot summer hiking. Fit is small, so size up, as recommended.

Trail Sender pants reviewThe fabric is great. The waistband seems to be too tight for the size that was ordered. The legs are also a bit baggy. I would prefer a slimmer profile for the legs.

What Does the Mountain Hardwear Limited Lifetime Warranty Cover?
Mountain Hardwear's Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the practical lifetime of Mountain Hardwear brand products manufactured by Mountain Hardwear or its affiliates. Only original, unaltered, and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by their policy. The limited lifetime warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper care, misuse, accident, neglect, or the natural breakdown of materials over time. Products should be returned to Mountain Hardwear for evaluation. Items with defects in materials and workmanship will be repaired or a Virtual Merchandise Credit will be issued. Damages due to improper care or accident may be repaired at a reasonable rate. This policy is applicable to United States customers only.
How Long Does the Limited Warranty Last?
This Limited Lifetime Warranty lasts for the practical life of the product. Coverage ends if you sell or transfer the product. Proof of purchase may be required.
What Will Mountain Hardwear Do?
Their Warranty Department will inspect the product at no charge to you. If the Warranty Department determines, in its sole discretion, that the product has a defect covered under this Limited Warranty, they will repair or issue a Virtual Merchandise Credit equivalent to the MSRP value within approximately four weeks of inspection. Depending on the season or product, it may take longer to repair certain items. Mountain Hardwear will discard your product if your product is covered under their limited warranty policy. If you would like your original product returned instead of a Virtual Merchandise Credit, please check the box on the printable warranty form or call them no later than 10 days after you ship your product at 800-953-8398.
How Do You Get Warranty Services?
You may seek resolution directly through the retailer where you purchased the product, such as this website. In many cases, the retailer will be able to assist you.
US Customers - You can send your product to Mountain Hardwear, however, you will need to fill out the warranty form found on their WARRANTY PAGE, where you will also find a shipping address for returning your product.
International Customers - Visit the Mountain Hardwear WARRANTY PAGE to find information to assist you through the warranty process.
