Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. MJ$ on Gift Cards:

Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.

Great addition to my layering systemThis review doesn't account for durability since I've only owned it for a few months.
I bought one at a local store because the fit was fantastic, looked great and it was a layer that I didn't own yet.
I loved it so much that I bought a second one.
I wear it in colder weather, as a first layer for skiing uphill, although it isn't specifically a first layer.
I pair it with a light jacket or a shell for skiing downhill.
The polartec grid pattern protects from moderate wind conditions, more than the usual merino base layer.
The only con (so far) is the steep price, but hopefully it will last for many years.
It's quite adjusted so I would describe it as an athletic fit.
6' tall, thin and long arms, the small size is perfect to wear as a first layer.

I Live Here NowThis will inevitably get compared to the R1, so let’s start there. The grids on this fleece are tighter and fluffier than the R1, which results in a warmer fleece that the wind doesn’t cut straight through. Surprisingly, it still breathes fine, but expect it to be quite a bit warmer than an R1 Or the Power Grid. The individual grid squares seem fairly tight woven for durability, but are still very soft. I haven’t seen any piling after a month of (near constant) wear.
Most important, dear god is it comfy. As the title suggests, I’ve lived in this thing since I bought it. I’m buying a second one so I don’t have to be without it when it’s laundry time. The hoody-like hand warmer pocket feels great, and the mesh backing inside puts your hands closer to your body heat.
Fit is loose, like a hoody. I’m 5’7”, 170lbs and a Medium fits perfectly. It’s much baggier than the Power Grid or R1, but it seems to be made more for warmth and comfort than either of those products.
Overall, perfect winter mid-layer or shoulder-season outer layer in cool, blustery weather, and the most comfortable hoody I have ever owned.

One of the best Half Zip Grid Fleece On the Market!I bought this over a week ago. I don’t want to take it off.. Similar to a Patagonia R1.. Only better. This works very well in low temps, and also indoors. I weight 163lbs. Am 5’6’ tall… and the Medium fits perfectly. Im not sure about the “arms too short” comments from other reviewers, because I have inches to spare. However, thanks to the tightness around the wrist and thumb-hole etc.. It feels totally fine. I don’t have to roll up the sleeves or anything. The grey/blueish color is the nicest color I have seen in twenty years of buying these. If you wear it with jeans around town … it looks a little grey.. If you wear it with tan/brown clothing.. it looks slightly bluish. So you can wear it with nearly everything. It layers well, either over a mock turtleneck or other first layer.. or also Under another pullover (as if this were a first layer). It’s long enough that it doesn’t rid up either. Has a good amount of stretch… inches of stretch.. should you be on the fence with sizing concerns. Since I have gotten this.. i have had about ten people enquire about it. If one buys this on sale.. it will be a staple for years to come. As for “piling” and other issues with these types of clothes.. I haven’t had it long enough to find out how it will hold up. Even the zippers have a nicely colored “pull” string. It’s nice to see these style items (the ones we count on year after year), are finally “more stylish” for around town as well. Also. These colors are much better than bright orange. Ugly fluorescent greens and reds. As one can genuinely use it from trail to town.

It is ok, but arms too shortI really want to love this fleece. On paper and the website it looks great. However after a week in the Rockies climbing with it, I find 2 major flaws. First the arms are too short and need to be 2 inches longer. You can see in the images of the product there are thumb holes. When you want to add these to a product, you have to make the sleeve longer. Otherwise you end up with a garment that just has holes in the sleeves. These just have holes in the sleeves on anyone with a 34" or longer arm. The website images show them using the thumb holes.....the models must be short. So I have a fleece where the sleeve length is ok if I do not use the thumb holes but the thumb hole fabric is not as thick so your wrists will get cold. Mountain Hardwear used to be great with sleeves that are long enough. Wish these were 2 inches longer.
Second flaw is the neck. The fabric is doubled up here (as it usually is) but they put the exterior face of the fabric on the inside of the neck. So your neck has exterior fabric on the outside and inside. It should really be interior fabric fleece against your neck. Would be softer and feel warmer.
On the plus side the state orange color is great! As is the chest pocket.
I really want to like this fleece but in the end it is just a fleece and nothing special. A bit more attention to detail and sizing would make it a classic. Please tweak it and make it so. Or offer clothing with longer arms.

What Does the Mountain Hardwear Limited Lifetime Warranty Cover?
Mountain Hardwear's Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the practical lifetime of Mountain Hardwear brand products manufactured by Mountain Hardwear or its affiliates. Only original, unaltered, and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by their policy. The limited lifetime warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper care, misuse, accident, neglect, or the natural breakdown of materials over time. Products should be returned to Mountain Hardwear for evaluation. Items with defects in materials and workmanship will be repaired or a Virtual Merchandise Credit will be issued. Damages due to improper care or accident may be repaired at a reasonable rate. This policy is applicable to United States customers only.
How Long Does the Limited Warranty Last?
This Limited Lifetime Warranty lasts for the practical life of the product. Coverage ends if you sell or transfer the product. Proof of purchase may be required.
What Will Mountain Hardwear Do?
Their Warranty Department will inspect the product at no charge to you. If the Warranty Department determines, in its sole discretion, that the product has a defect covered under this Limited Warranty, they will repair or issue a Virtual Merchandise Credit equivalent to the MSRP value within approximately four weeks of inspection. Depending on the season or product, it may take longer to repair certain items. Mountain Hardwear will discard your product if your product is covered under their limited warranty policy. If you would like your original product returned instead of a Virtual Merchandise Credit, please check the box on the printable warranty form or call them no later than 10 days after you ship your product at 800-953-8398.
How Do You Get Warranty Services?
You may seek resolution directly through the retailer where you purchased the product, such as this website. In many cases, the retailer will be able to assist you.
US Customers - You can send your product to Mountain Hardwear, however, you will need to fill out the warranty form found on their WARRANTY PAGE, where you will also find a shipping address for returning your product.
