Rewards Program Terms and Conditions

Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

More than meets the eyeI was a bit skeptical about how warm this coat is with how lightweight the materials are. I don’t want to suggest it is my go-to jacket at -10F, but for 25F and up for going to work, it does a good job keeping me comfortable. It is great for snowshoeing and other more rigorous activities outdoors. Being lightweight and packable, this will also work well for those cooler evening/mornings while camping. I am pleasantly surprised and am steadily increasing my collection of Mountain Hardware gear because of the exceptional quality.

Nice JacketBought this to take on Bikepacking trips but ended up wearing it everyday it is so nice and warm and comfortable. Have gotten lots of compliments on it too. Got it on sale, 1st down puffy i have owned and am really pleased with it. Ordered a large, am 6-2 and 175 lbs with long arms. The medium would probably be better with normal length arms.

Solid Warm JacketI found the jacket to be a little tight and the sleeves to be a little long. This is a pretty good jacket and I use it primarily as a winter coat for life in the city. It is not my favorite Mountain Hardwear jacket in my collection but it serves it's purpose and it does it well.

Very nice jacketBought this last month for the colder weather. Does very well at keeping you nice and warm. I’ve read that it sometimes sheds feathers, but I haven’t had that happen as of yet. Fit is a bit bigger than I expected. Normally, I’m an XL, but I think a Large would fit a bit better. No big deal though. I recommend

Great Mid-Layer Complement for SkiingBought this Dynotherm jacket for a mid-layer complement to my layering system for skiing. I have been in 0 degree weather with 20-30mph wind gusts and this down jacket kept my core warm and cozy. The amazing thing is last weekend skiing was hot (40 degrees) and I still did not overheat and sweat with this jacket.
Fit is true and would recommend highly.
Only downside is some of the down filling has been seeping out of seams in the jacket, although I think this is relatively normal for a synthetic down jacket and expect this to stop once it is worn a few more times.

Nice jacketNice jacket. Not very puffy. I found it to be more true to size and less boxy than some other MH down jackets, like Nitrous or Stretchdown. I normally wear medium, and this Medium fits me well, even a little roomy. It has a slight taper at the waist. With the other 2 jackets I have to wear Large to accommodate shoulders, but then they are baggy at the waist. The only two reasons for a 4 star review are that neck barely has any down in it, and that the material rustles a lot, like it’s made out of plastic. If they made it out of the same material as Nitrous, it would be a fantastic jacket.
What Does the Mountain Hardwear Limited Lifetime Warranty Cover?
Mountain Hardwear's Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the practical lifetime of Mountain Hardwear brand products manufactured by Mountain Hardwear or its affiliates. Only original, unaltered, and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by their policy. The limited lifetime warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper care, misuse, accident, neglect, or the natural breakdown of materials over time. Products should be returned to Mountain Hardwear for evaluation. Items with defects in materials and workmanship will be repaired or a Virtual Merchandise Credit will be issued. Damages due to improper care or accident may be repaired at a reasonable rate. This policy is applicable to United States customers only.
How Long Does the Limited Warranty Last?
This Limited Lifetime Warranty lasts for the practical life of the product. Coverage ends if you sell or transfer the product. Proof of purchase may be required.
What Will Mountain Hardwear Do?
Their Warranty Department will inspect the product at no charge to you. If the Warranty Department determines, in its sole discretion, that the product has a defect covered under this Limited Warranty, they will repair or issue a Virtual Merchandise Credit equivalent to the MSRP value within approximately four weeks of inspection. Depending on the season or product, it may take longer to repair certain items. Mountain Hardwear will discard your product if your product is covered under their limited warranty policy. If you would like your original product returned instead of a Virtual Merchandise Credit, please check the box on the printable warranty form or call them no later than 10 days after you ship your product at 800-953-8398.
How Do You Get Warranty Services?
You may seek resolution directly through the retailer where you purchased the product, such as this website. In many cases, the retailer will be able to assist you.
US Customers - You can send your product to Mountain Hardwear, however, you will need to fill out the warranty form found on their WARRANTY PAGE, where you will also find a shipping address for returning your product.
International Customers - Visit the Mountain Hardwear WARRANTY PAGE to find information to assist you through the warranty process.
Please note that by law, products must be cleaned prior to sending. Items received by Mountain Hardwear that are deemed insufficiently cleaned will be returned to the customer unprocessed.
