Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.
Are you Sure?
Our Rewards Program is completely FREE and easy to use.
By opting out, you forfeit all the Moosejaw Rewards Dollars your currently have in your account, which is basically throwing away free money. What would your grandmother say about that? If you're 100% sure, please click "OptOut" below.
We want to make extra-sure you realize that you've added a special order item to your cart. These items take a little longer to get to you because we have to order from the manufacturer first. The "Est. Ship Date" is the date we expect items to leave our warehouse... so add your chosen shipping speed to see when it will show up at your door.

Seemed awesome! Wish it would have worked for me!I bought this bag, because it had a fair amount of shoulder room for a mummy bag. I am a bigger man, and there were a few inches free around my shoulders. Unfortunately I still felt pinned in uncomfortably. I ended up returning the bag, but I will say this. It felt awesome in it! I almost kept it to use as a quilt! I just couldn't buy something to use it a different way. I ended up buying a rec tangle bag to find the shoulder room I needed. This seems like an excellent bag!

Backpacking-worthy Synthetic OptionI bought this bag for my sister to help get her set up for camping and backpacking.
I was surprised at how light and compressible this bag was. Given that it's synthetic, you wouldn't expect it to pack down so well. I'd say it packs down to about the size of a 15-degree down sleeping bag.
Another important thing to note is that the Laminina and Lamina degree rating is actually its COMFORT rating, not its lower limit as is often the case. So unlike most 34-degree bags, this one should actually be comfortably usable at 34 degrees!

Nice BagThe sleeping bag is extremely efficient and was pretty warm considering what the temp. rating is. However, I would suggest not relying on the stuff sack as your normal go to. The straps ripped off on the second day using it while I wasn't even cranking that hard on it. Still a solid bag.

Great Value for the PriceMy daughter is just getting into hiking/camping and we were looking for a good starter level sleeping bag. I ordered this for her birthday and was so pleased with the price and the quality of the product. The sleeping bag came quickly and mountain hardware was so easy to use. We'll definitely be shopping here in the future!

Impressed Until 50 Degrees[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bag is true to size and weight. I enjoyed the ability to pack and carry a lightweight bag, and the materials are comfortable. I'm 5'10" and I weigh 165 pounds, and I found the "Regular" to be appropriately sized. The "hood" fits well and the bag was comfortable for 10 nights in the backcountry... until the temperature dropped below 50 degrees fahrenheit.
The comfort rating for this bag lists 42 degrees F; however, I awoke due to cold each night the temps dropped below 50. I had to sleep in wool long underwear, a quarter zip, and even a puffy jacket to stay warm. When the temperature dropped to 42F (the stated comfort threshold) I had to wear all the above plus a hat, as well.
I will admit I'm a cold-natured person, but this bag's rating is misleading. My son and dad used the same bag on our trip and they have the same opinion. Even my wife, who typically sleeps with a leg out because she gets hot while sleeping, had to wear additional clothing to stay warm in this bag.
I will recommend the product but only if the buyer considers using a colder rated bag than anticipated.

Really impressed with this product[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In a recent summer tent night in the Pyrenees of around 50° I couldn't close the bag as it was way too warm. Feels and compresses almost as a down bag, weighs little more than a down bag of the same warmth, but is more durable. Half the price of a comparable downbag - not much reason to buy down anymore.

Sleeping Comfort[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me, it's all about comfort and lightweight. This bag is quite soft and comfortable and lightweight. I haven't yet used it outdoors, so cannot comment on its insulating properties.

Pocket on wrong side![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd Lamina; best bags for the money. I bought this one because I read it was lighter, packed tighter and was warmer. Well it's not warmer, smaller, or lighter than my green 35 but Mtnwear has moved the pocket from the logical side by zipper to opposite side?! Obviously whoever made this decision did not ever use the pocket. I used to keep my glasses in this pocket and just shifted the bag slightly to keep the zipper (& pocket) over my left shoulder at all times. Worked great. But now the pocket is useless as a shift either direction puts a bump underneath me. Plus to get to the pocket now you have to unzip much more than before. Bad design change.
If anyone reads this, put the pocket back by the zipper and keep making quality bags for a great price.
Great question! Below are all the specs for the Long size:
Shoulder Circumference: 65 inches
Hip Circumference: 64 inches
Foot Circumference: 43 inches
Bag Length: 84 inches
Max User Height: 6 ft 6 in
Weigh: 2 lb 3 oz
