Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:

Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Great productMountain Hardware produces a great product. This Lamina 30 sleeping bag is no exception. Materials and build quality are top notch. The bag feels like it will keep you warm down into the upper 30s and maybe lower depending on what your wearing and mat. To make it even better they include a compression sack and storage sack for the bag. Not many companies include one let alone two great storage bags.

Excellent backpacking or car camping bagOrdered x2 of these bags after doing quite a bit of research. We wanted synthetic bags for some summer coastal hiking as well as car camping. Our current bags are close to 20 years old. The bag compresses down quite small, is quite light, and had all the features we were looking for. I wanted to save a little weight for backpacking so I ordered the men’s bag instead of the women's and also purchased a bag for my husband. I like that we could zip them together if we want to as well (you just need to order the clippers on the correct sides to do this). Great for hiking/camping where condition are more wet. It is great the bag comes with 2 sacks (storage and compression). I know there are hydrophobic down options but synthetic is still less to worry about and much better in price. In all, we are very happy with our purchase.

Great summer bag - as long as it stays above 40Bought this as a replacement for a car camping bag for summer. On a Pacific Northwest trip to Rainier, Olympic, North Cascades and San Juan Island, the bag performed fine. Warm enough and not too difficult to pack back into the small cinch bag. Had some condesat
However more recently I tried to push the limits of this bag on a trip up to the central California coast. First night dropped down to mid 30s and I was cold, I was wearing fleece pants and a down jacket. Had to throw on another layer to keep warm.
Third trip I learned my lesson if I’m going to try to push this bag to its maximum. I was in Guadalupe National park and it dipped into the high 20s. Are three layers, thermals, mid weight fleece pants and on top same layers adding on a down jacket. Finally I was comfortable, only coyotes kept me up.
I would give this a four because it packs down just sometimes a little more difficult that my others sleeping bags. It’s also light in the midsection of the bag. My lower back always gets cold in this bag.
Otherwise dependable zipper, nice materials. Sizing is right I’m 5’10 weight 155lbs and the bag is perfect in size - I use a regular.

Not as warm as it pretendsI find the insulation to poor for the claimed minimum temperature. I have been using it several times in temperatures around 5c and It seems to be lacking insulation around the waist area. It is my first fibrebag after I have been using downbags for years and I am dissapointed.

Light, Small, Soft & FunctionalGetting our permits for the West Coast Trail this year was our first hurdle, and finding well functioning, lightweight gear for our trek was the next! Sleeping bags were one of the items that we agonized over the most, trying to find the perfect balance between comfort/warmth and weight/pack size. After sifting through Facebook groups, forums, blog posts, etc. we recognized that Mountain Hardwear was a top recommendation and we bit the bullet and ordered one for each of us. We LOVE our bags! Not only were they warm, but the Lamina interior fabric is SOOO soft. They are great quality, we love the fact that you can zip up from the bottom to stick a leg out, and as a bonus, we loved the colors (navy for the mens and a lavender purple for the womens). I don't think we will have to replace these for a while, but when we do, I definitely won't have to look any further than this company. (Also, I had issues checking out - user error - and their support is above and beyond!)

Get itI originally purchased the 0 degree bag and it was bulky (as expected) but I decided it wouldn’t work for me and returned it for this bag instead and I am SO glad I did. This bag packs down so so small and is nice and light while still being so comfortable and warm. Highly recommend. Note though it does not have the neck guard/built in scarf inside for that extra insulation like the cooler bags do. Can’t beat it for the price

Quality materials and lightweight, but very long.I've only taken this bag on one backpacking trip so far, but I was pretty happy with it overall. Seems to be well-made, it's packable and lightweight, and the material is comfortable on the skin. However, I bought the long version since I'm 6'-3", and it's longer than I would prefer. If my head is inside the hood, my feet are probably 8 to 10 inches from the end of the bag. Not really in the footbox.

Pleased!I/We (my wife and I) purchased these sleeping bags for weekend hiking trips on the AT. We are more "fair weather" hikers, meaning we'll be camping in slightly warmer to hot temps. In saying that, we haven't used these bags out on the trail yet, but I believe they will perform to what we will put them through.
My review of the bag is that it is almost uncomfortably tight for me from side to side at the shoulder, when zipped. I'm 5' 10" and 50" around at the shoulders, but fortunately for me I'm a side sleeper. So lying on my side it is easy to zip up and I do feel comfortable in the bag. The foot box, in my opinion is spacious. And with the double zipper system, I'll be able to unzip the bag at my feet during the warmer nights (which I prefer). My wife only uses a 36 pack and this bag stuffs up small enough to fit in the sleeping bag compartment of that pack.
So, overall I think this bag will perform well for how we will be utilizing it, especially for the $$.
