Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Spacious and comfortable crag backpackI can fit 2 pairs of climbing shoes, harness, helmet, double+ racks, 10 quickdraws, slings, carabiners, water bottles, in the main compartment. In the outer compartment, I put a first aid kit, windbreaker, snacks, other small items. The rope goes on top and cinched with the flap. With all this gears, it surprisingly distributes the load very well. Even more comfortable than my other backpacking pack.

One of the best DESIGNED packs out there…… with one of the worst productions ever. Unfortunately. In ~2.5 years, I have gone through TWO of these packs. I probably would not have felt compelled to write a review, but after looking at the description today and MH writes “durable” to describe it, well, i just have to disagree. I take care of my gear. I am a weekend warrior almost every single weekend. So at a price point at which this is at, i expect the gear to last.
This pack is EVERYTHING I want in a pack. SUPER well designed. Love that I can access and pack easily, and the handles on the inside are fantastic for quickly moving your pack to the next climb without having to pack everything up. I love the front pocket, do wish it was like a dual zipper in a U shaped, because when opening it up, things tend to slide out. But it can be avoided by simply utilizing the two pockets provided in that front sections, or tilting the pack on its side. The hip belt is AMAZING, it’s not overly engineered and fits my hips very well. I love the adjustable straps everywhere, easy to carry a load. I do wish there was a pocket on the hip for keys or a quick snack given when wearing the pack, its hard to access the front pocket without things falling out.
Now the cons.. In both packs, the frame at the bottom has torn through the absolutely way too thin fabric, and then snapped. This is a 60L y’all… there should be a frame in there designed to carry weight. My partners pack has done the same (the frame tearing through the fabric), and our two friends who have the same pack, same thing. It’s not just me. When the frame breaks, you can still use the pack, but eventually the back will start to cave in, and then the entire load is put on your shoulders. There are some smaller issues like the outside fabric tears easily at the will of briars. Buckles broke super easily on both packs, first pack was the chest buckle, and second pack was the waist buckle. Buckles are cheap right, easy to replace? You would think, but when trying to match the size they are not actually standard sizes carried by outdoor gear shops. I did reach out to CS, and although super nice to talk to, they told me they don’t carry the spare parts to replace the buckle. Super unsustainable y’all. This was a year and a few months ago, and so since the frame was broken i just coughed up the money to buy a second one. Honestly we should have the right to repair the pack by ordering replacement parts, or sending back to get fixed.
Y’all…. I REALLY REALLY love this pack. Mountain Hardware makes amazing gear. Truly, all my clothes have held up over years. But I’m not sure the same could be said about the gear. :(
My heart wants to give this pack a 1 star, but it truly is in concept, the best crag pack out there. Deserving of 10 stars, but at it’s price point to longevity ratio, sorry MH, two stars you get.

Burly and Spacious, I Recommend This BagThis crag bag is perfect for long days with lots of gear. I can fit two 60m ropes, all my gear, water, and snacks with room to spare. I could probably fit three 60m ropes with sport gear. This is a great and seemingly durable pack (I just received it a couple weeks ago and have only used it three times, so far). I like the multiple opening options. I organize my gear using the zippered opening and kind of shove everything in at the end of the day through the cinch top. The external gear loops are great for hanging a couple pairs of shoes and the internal loops hold about 16 quickdraws (or other gear on biners). The pack sits nicely with the waist and chest straps, making heavy loads more tolerable. The color is more of a gray than it looked to be on the site, not that it matters, but it looked to have a greenish tint on my screen. What else…oh! It comes with a rope tarp, which is quite large, so that’s a nice bonus. I dig it!

What Does the Mountain Hardwear Limited Lifetime Warranty Cover?
Mountain Hardwear's Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the practical lifetime of Mountain Hardwear brand products manufactured by Mountain Hardwear or its affiliates. Only original, unaltered, and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by their policy. The limited lifetime warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper care, misuse, accident, neglect, or the natural breakdown of materials over time. Products should be returned to Mountain Hardwear for evaluation. Items with defects in materials and workmanship will be repaired or a Virtual Merchandise Credit will be issued. Damages due to improper care or accident may be repaired at a reasonable rate. This policy is applicable to United States customers only.
How Long Does the Limited Warranty Last?
This Limited Lifetime Warranty lasts for the practical life of the product. Coverage ends if you sell or transfer the product. Proof of purchase may be required.
What Will Mountain Hardwear Do?
Their Warranty Department will inspect the product at no charge to you. If the Warranty Department determines, in its sole discretion, that the product has a defect covered under this Limited Warranty, they will repair or issue a Virtual Merchandise Credit equivalent to the MSRP value within approximately four weeks of inspection. Depending on the season or product, it may take longer to repair certain items. Mountain Hardwear will discard your product if your product is covered under their limited warranty policy. If you would like your original product returned instead of a Virtual Merchandise Credit, please check the box on the printable warranty form or call them no later than 10 days after you ship your product at 800-953-8398.
