Rewards Program Terms and Conditions

Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Good bagI like the bag, the front pocket has enough room to carry a phone and a few other things. The main compartment is able to hold two 32 oz nalgene bottles with no problem. The zippers on each side and being able to switch which shoulder it hangs on. I like being able to switch shoulders if I'm carrying the bag long distances.
There is a soft liner between the two sides but the liner is large enough that it can be pushed out from the center and go out one of the zippers. There is no internal organization inside so this works best as a dump bag.

Great bag and size, comfortableGreat bag and very comfortable, holds right amount. I would have given 5 stars but the only issue I have is with the zippers. They get caught in the inner bag seams and gets stuck often.

Well constructedI usually carry a Patagonia Atom 8L and was looking to change it up. This pack is well constructed and durable. The pockets are a little difficult to use. They are both sides, and have a divider. I’m always losing things in the pockets. There’s also a bunch of extra straps that you really don’t need carrying this pack on a daily basis. It’s a nice looking pack though.

Great small sling bagHave used this on a daily basis for about a month - perfect for holding keys, wallet, phone, and a few snacks. Would probably be awkward with heavy or bulky stuff in it, but has a decent size main pouch which could hold a water bottle and a book or maps. Great for traveling!

Great for hot weatherThe bag is light, comfortable and super convenient. Just slide it to the front when you need anything and the zipper will be on top. You can access easily the stuff in the pocket, and the design inside the pocket is minimalist, perfect for me

Nice bag with a couple issuesThis is my first foray into the world of EDC-esque bags. For the most part I enjoy it, but there are 2 issues that have me searching for better options.
Pros:
It's comfortable. The straps are adjustable so it can be left or right shoulder carry and there is an additional strap for when you're going to be carrying it a little longer. It also has plenty of room for carrying what I need daily. If I'm going hiking or somewhere that requires a little more space, I can simply tuck this bag into a larger bag and move on. It also looks really nice and I've had several people compliment it.
Cons:
There are only 3 compartments. One of them has a really soft lining and is . . . phone shaped, so it seems to be intended for a phone. The other two are pretty spacious, but they take up the same space in the bag if that makes any sense. I have no reason to pack this bag to the brim, but if you were to completely fill the compartment on the right, there would be almost no room left for the other compartment. It's basically a pouch inside the other compartment that isn't removable and has an external zipper. You could put your hand in the left compartment and push the 'pouch' inside-out through the right side. This isn't a huge deal on its own, but the next point makes it hard to tolerate.
The zipper on the right side is constantly catching the lining on the inside and getting stuck. It's so bad that it makes me not want to use that compartment at all, but it's just impossible to organize everything in one compartment.

Thanks for reaching out! NO, we would not recommend the Moosejaw x Mystery Ranch Collab Teppo Sling Pack to conceal or carry any type of firearm. It was not intended or designed for that use. I would check out the Kelty Sling Bag as an alternative option. That bag is available in left or right hand versions and will fit a holster and two clip holders. I included a link below. Is the large compartment lockable?

After taking a look, I wouldn't consider any of the compartments lockable. There is nothing to attach a zipper lock to, or double zipper/ loops to thread the lock through. Hopefully this helps clarify things!
