DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Moosejaw Wind Resistant Fabric

Moosejaw Wind Resistant Fabric
Keep this away from any wind chimes. This garment has been engineered to block most of the wind that nature throws at you. Perfect for those cool, blustery days. Some sneaky wind could get through, but just think of it as personal air conditioning and you'll feel positively regal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like all the pockets. Finally found a coat with a lot of pockets, and is very warm. I also bought the baseline coat, and with the vest I walked at the park this winter without ever getting cold. Good job Moosejaw!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit Having an easily operated snap closing in addition to a zipper is key for my fingers. The vest fits well under the arms and has a comfortable soft collar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect all around winter garmet This is the best piece of clothing I have ever bought. It is beautifully made and is perfect for the winter climate in Arizona, both outside and inside my apartment, where I leave the heater off, and door and window open in winter to get fresh air. It is so stylish and fits so well, and covers all the important areas to prevent core heat loss. It's a must have for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A surprise in the pocket! My down vest I had for years finally gave up so I needed a new one fast. I made a quick search and decided on the Moosejaw Baseline Down Vest. I was thrilled to find that it fit really well and was long enough. I am 6'-3" tall and sometimes cloths just don't fit right. After about a week of wearing the vest I found that there was a nice bottle opener attached by a short chord in one of the pockets. Moosejaw thought of everything! I love my new vest and the bottle opener will definitely come in handy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great service, great product!!! After way too much research on a replacement vest I selected the Baseline down Jacket although skeptical of the color combination. Product arrived on time and I really liked the color combination and the feel of the vest. Only problem was the size, too snug. A call to Moosejaw quickly resulted in a replacement jacket being ordered at the same sale price as my original vest and a return label. The new jacket was in the color I originally preferred so I was very pleased. Overall this vest is light weight and very good looking PLUS has a much studier zipper then my old, now gone vest.

CHEST: Measure around your chest, holding the measuring tape under your armpit. Please refrain from flexing for a more accurate measurement. You can flex after.

WAIST: Measure around your waist at the narrowest part. Then multiply it by 1.

HIP: Measure around your hips at the widest part. This is where all your hipness lies.

SLEEVE LENGTH: With your arms in a slightly bent position, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist. Do it in front of a mirror. Then flex again. Yep, still got it.
