The Big Wall Stuff Sack by Metolius are sooooooo handy. For total organization and security on a wall, there is no other bag. Designed as gear, clothing and food organizers for our haul bags, they are essentially bombproof stuff sacks.

FEATURES of the Metolius Big Wall Stuff Sack

  • Heavy-duty stuff sacks for organizing gear inside your haul bag
  • Durable 600d polyester outer body
  • Dual, bar tacked, webbing clip-in points/handles
  • Super handy for gear organization or storage; they also make great, all-purpose tote bags

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gear to have! Better than any others I have! I bought my first one to replace my sleeping bag stuff sack, perfect. It’s typical Metolius durable, strong, useful handles and well-designed draw cord system that still work well if the bag is filled to max capacity. I’ve already ordered more for gifts and to store my work and climbing gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for climbers who have a big weight difference, let me explain. I am about 150lb and my gf is a tiny 90lb. So I pull her up HARD with a lead fall. What we did was buy this Haul bag (get Large) and carry it out to the crag and fill it with rocks we find there and then use a spare quickdraw to attach it to her belay loop. Easily adds 10-30lbs of weight, depending on the rocks you add. Could be a little more durable in the inside. If you try this you might want to consider adding a canvas lining, but ours hasn't broken yet. Either way, if you and your climbing partner have a huge weight difference try this. Beats other crazy ideas I have heard people say, like carrying out weights. And anchoring to roots gives a hard hard catch. Try it out!!!!!! I have had so many fellow climbers love it since I have recommended it to them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from simple design that works, and quality materials to boot! This sack does it's job without issue. I have been using it as a rope bag and for that task it's great. The construction is top notch - good materials, handles are comfortable on the hand or easily hooked to a pack. I think my favorite part is the material, which is light but rugged, and the fact that mine came in desert camo color (legit!)
