Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.
Are you Sure?
Our Rewards Program is completely FREE and easy to use.
By opting out, you forfeit all the Moosejaw Rewards Dollars your currently have in your account, which is basically throwing away free money. What would your grandmother say about that? If you're 100% sure, please click "OptOut" below.
We want to make extra-sure you realize that you've added a special order item to your cart. These items take a little longer to get to you because we have to order from the manufacturer first. The "Est. Ship Date" is the date we expect items to leave our warehouse... so add your chosen shipping speed to see when it will show up at your door.

Vibram sole - same as a basic running shoe on iceI bought these thinking they may provide somewhat better traction on snow and ice, but I was wrong. I would get the same traction as a pair of my running shoes. I was not expecting that I should be able to walk on the ice as if it was an asphalt road, but the amount of times that even the smallest, obscure patch of ice and I would slip and have to catch myself. I had to be careful even on hard packed snow - My feet would fly out from under me. They are definitely waterproof and at first they were comfortable, but the comfort wore out quite quickly. Would not recommend especially for the price.

Great winter walker. These are very comfortable and work well on most snowy, icy sidewalks. I couldn’t get these in my ‘true’ size so had to go up a half size. They fit me very well because I do have a narrow foot and these fit me securely so the size is great, especially with a thicker sock. For winter walking, these are warm, lightweight and have good arch support, too.

Just PurchasedJust received these. Bought them to walk the dog with. They were warm and very grippy on the snow. It was a fairly mild day so will have to wait in see on how cold you can use them in. Very comfortable.

Not waterproofVery disappointed with those shoes I bought last year (blue laces). Not waterproof at all; for winter boots, it's not very usefull. I got tricked as the Merrell boots I had before were similar but were waterproof. And the laces, as with the pair I had before, are way too short. Now I need to buy a new pair again! :( too bad because they are very comfy and warm.

Please make this boot with a safety toe!I work for an ice rink and these boots are ALMOST everything I could ask for.
I frequently go from driving a Zamboni to shoveling snow off wet ice. I quickly decided that I love the Arctic Grip sole. On dry ice or packed snow, the grip is great. On wet ice, the grip is reasonable. If you are on ice with a layer of powder the grip is lacking so walk with care.
I walk miles around the rink everyday and I found the boots to be comfortable with little break-in time.
My only grip is that there is no women's version of the Men's Thermo Adventure 6" Ice+ Waterproof Comp Toe Work Boot. For my job I don't only need a boot that grips well but also protects my toes. Please make this happen.

Love my merrell'sI have had my old Merrell's for over 20 yrs. Just decided it was time to replace them. Only cause they are just now starting to come apart at the seams. They are still warm and very comfortable. Best boots i have ever had. Kept me warm in cold weather and not HOT in warmer weather. Just bought these to replace them. I can wear a 5 1/2 to a 6. My last pair were a 6 so ordered that size again. They are a tiny bit to big but will work. Boot top is a bit lower than my older ones as well as a bit wider. But will work. As far as people complaining that they still slip on ice, are you kidding me? There isn't a boot out there that will stop you from doing that. These have great traction but if you are out and about in slippery conditions then i suggest you buy cleats to wear on your boots. Even with those sometimes you still slip. Its just common sense when walking on ice to be careful and prepared. Great product. Love my Merrell's
Hey there, THoov!
Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, these boots do not come in wide widths. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

We have all kinds of conditions, from 40 below extreme ice to 20 above and slush. These sound great, but my ANCIENT Whiteout 8's were waterproof, and worked awesome for literally years and probably a few thousand miles, are these waterproof too??

Hey there, Kachi! What a plot twist of a question! I thought there was going to be some exceptionally technical detail about ice handling at 0 degrees kelvin and you just wanted to know if these were waterproof! WHEW! I totally did not want to have to reveal all of my knowledge about kelvin because that's the sort of thing that puts you on lists. . .
To answer your question about waterproof: NO, these are not waterproof. The MOAB that are waterproof are their gore-tex, but they do not have the ICE+ sole grips
