Sprayed waterproofing first, then off I went. I bought these to go urban speed walking, but if given the opportunity, I would definitely take them hiking. They have awesome support, very sturdy, the width works for me (I have somewhat wide feet), and are structured to keep your feet secure and stable. Just one of the best shoes I have ever bought...super happy : )

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Foot pain! Not the same shoe as the past! Not the shoes Merrell used to be! The shoes feel terrible. The sole and design is not what Merrell has been for years. Why change a good thing?! Feels like you’re walking on concrete… no support or traction. My old Merrells felt good out of the box! These will never break in! Please use the same design and material as before. Cheap shoe brands feel better which is not saying much!!!!

Is this a good shoe for warmer months? I wear my Moab 2s all the time but they’re getting a bit toasty

I've been rocking some keen alamosa waterproof boots for many years now. Sadly, I've just blown out the toe. I see that merrell offer their Moab shoe in wide. If I've been wearing a keen 6.5, do you think I'll need a wide Merrell? Do keens run wide?

Hey there, thanks for the question! Both Merrell and Keen tend to have a slightly wider toe box and their sizes tend to correlate well. If you were a 6.5 in Keen give these a shot in the 6.5 and they should be pretty dang close. If the fit isn't right send them back for an exchange or refund, we don't charge return shipping on footwear! I hope this helps!

I usually wear a 6.5 in regular shoes, but I have bunions on both feet. Would it be better to get a 6.5W or a 7M accommodating for thin to medium socks?
