Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.
Are you Sure?
Our Rewards Program is completely FREE and easy to use.
By opting out, you forfeit all the Moosejaw Rewards Dollars your currently have in your account, which is basically throwing away free money. What would your grandmother say about that? If you're 100% sure, please click "OptOut" below.

FEATURES of the Marmot Women's Montreal Coat
Zip-off Down Filled Hood with Removable faux fur Ruff
Durable Water Repellent
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.
Marmot Down Defender
Marmot Down Defender helps prevent down from clumping when exposed to water or moisture. This allows it to keep its loft, which equates to greater insulation. Nothing will stop the specially treated, highly water-resistant down from trapping warm air next to your body.

Weathered Yellowstone in WinterI bought this coat knowing I would be in West Yellowstone in January - I could not be happier! It was super warm and light enough to move around freely. I love this coat!

Runs small, but super warm, comfy, and stylishI'm 5'9" and about 150 lbs, usually a size 8. The medium was so tiny that I returned it for a large. Even the large is a tiny bit tight around my shoulders, but nothing to major. And this minor flaw is outweighed by the awesome features of this coat: fleece lined cuffs and neck (so the zipper doesn't rub your chin raw), internal drop and zipper pockets, reversible zipper, removable hood AND removable fleece from hood, perfect length, very warm. It looks stylish and feels comfortable. I have long arms, but I found the arm length to be perfect. I wear this over a long-sleeved shirt (yes, a size large only fits over a shirt or thin sweater, not a sweatshirt) and I'm completely warm and toasty, so this is perfect coat for me to wear to work.

A most excellent jacket[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought, and returned, 4 coats before I stuck with this one. It was the warmest and best designed. The cut is flattering so I look cool while staying toasty. The hood is the best - I love that the fur part is removable, but also that the entire hood is removable. And the cinching system is really well done. I have a Marmot tent and have always been impressed with the engineering, design, quality materials, and attention to detail. Super quality gear. 2 huge thumbs up for this jacket!
I'm 5'4", 130lbs, curvy. I tend to wear a size S or 4 in jackets. Some people seem to say this runs small? What do you recommend?
Asked by: eannz92
Hey there eannz92, good question! If you plan on doing some layering under this jacket, I would recommend going up to a size medium. If you are looking to use this is more of an around town jacket, you should be good with the small. I hope this helps!

I just bought my quebec coat today.i notice a little shedding already
.what will o do to stop this
Asked by: Memords
Hiya Memords, thanks for your question! I'm sorry you are having this issue, however, it is totally common.... most down jackets will shed or lose feathers at some point.
The most important thing is to not pull the feathers out. The holes can become larger which will cause more and more feathers to shed. We suggest that you try to push them back inside the jacket instead.
Another suggestion is to put your jacket into the dryer and run the no-heat fluff cycle for about 15 minutes. When the jacket is worn, the feathers compress and flatten making them easier to fit through the fabric. If you fluff your feathers they will fatten up and have a more difficult time fitting through the fabric.
Lastly, if the coat is new and the problem is excessive, you can return it.
Hope this helps!

I am 5' 1 1/2"" and weigh 104 pounds, should I get a xs or small. One of the review's said the fit ran a little small.
Asked by: jane
Thanks for reaching out! Based on your height & weight, I would recommend a size Extra Small. With that said, if you plan to wear heavy clothing underneath, then it may be best to go with the size Small. We always recommend referring to the size guide for specific chest, waist, and hip measurements. If you are still unsure, feel free to order both sizes and then send back the coat that doesn't fit. I hope this info helps!

The hood on the black coat and the whitestone colored coat seem to be different from the coats with other colors.
Are the photos misleading or are the hoods different for different colors?
Asked by: Ammi50
Hiya Ammi50, thanks for your question! It is the same coat. The only difference is the colors. The hood is laying flat in some pictures and cinched in others. Sorry for the confusion!

Hi - sizing question: I'm 5'9" 155lbs and I have long arms. Is there any chatter about if this runs short or long in the arms? I'm torn between this and TNF Gotham only because someone once told me TNF runs longer in the arms. T or F? TY!
Asked by: Karen
Hola, Karen!
Word on the street is.. I found 2(!) tall people discussing arm length issues of jackets. 1 did declare her love for the Montreal because the arms were juuuuuuust right. But then another woman who gave her actual dimensions: 5'10" and 135 lbs wearing a medium. She said everything was pretty perfect BUT could stand to have just a little more length in the sleeves. She did admit to liking her sleeves to hang a little further down the hand than what would be considered "normal".
Hope that helps you decide!
I'm a wee lass and have all of the opposite issues, FYI

Thanks for your question. The Dark Purple as pictured is pretty darn close to the color of the coat in person. Hope that helps!

What is the best way to clean this coat? I have basically lived in it for two winters now and since it is a light color, there are marks and stains that I’d like to remove.
Asked by: Leah
Hey there Leah,
Great question! Marmot recommends washing this in cold/ cool water with liquid detergent that is free of scents or dyes. Once you place this in the dryer, make sure this is on low heating and use a few tennis balls or rolled up socks which will help with the fluff of the down while drying. This can take 1-2 hours drying since you want this on low heating. Make sure that this is fully dry before taking out.
Hope that helps!
