The Marmot PreCip Undercuff Glove is a lightweight glove that packs down small for emergency use on the trail or springtime skiing. The glove has a generous fit so you can pull them over a liner glove (like the Marmot Power Stretch Glove) and instantly provides waterproof protection to your hands on a wet day. Strap the large Velcro-closure tight against your wrist and slip under your jacket cuff for streamlined protection at the wrist. The Marmot MemBrain insert is what keeps you dry while the outside NanoPro nylon fabric on the outside provides durability. The soft fabric at the thumbs allows you to wipe your runny nose without exposing your hands to cold, wet weather. A Falcon grip at the palms keep trekking poles in hand without slippage.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The lining your killing me Marmot! Forgot gloves and drove 4 hours to summit Muir before Whitney permits kick in. Only decent gloves at the little outdoor shop elevation in Lone Pine. We got back before the snow storm started but that frosty air, taking my hands out for one second felt like frost bite and would take 30 minutes to warm again, so sticking my hand back in was supposed to be quick... the lining is not sewn to the bottom of the fingers they never went in easy or straigh and would get rolled up and out of finger placement... It was the most frustrating experience. Over 14,000 feet up doing a fourth class exposed climb in freezing winds and snow and I having to take my gloves off a few times to get in a good hand lock was hard enough... Putting my glove back on took 10 times as long as the move i needed. Marmot your seriously killing me

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pricey, but overall good quality These gloves are a nice addition to my PreCip jacket. Coupled with a liner they provide ample warmth and dexterity for my fingers. I have purchased two sets of these gloves and feel they are a good buy. I recommend using a promo code through because they are a bit pricey. Also, they tend to run small, like everything else Marmot sells.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not waterproof I bought these to take to Iceland to compete in a Spartan Race and my hands were wet only a couple hours into the race. Over all I like Marmot gear but these gloves did not live up to what was advertised and I tossed them in the trash after one use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High Quality Glove with some flaws These gloves do everything I want them too, namely keep my hands dry and warm down to temps in the low 20's without a liner. With a liner they will easily get you to high single digits and low teens. I have 1 minor complaint that affects the gloves performance in 2 way. The complain is the fact that the built-in liner pulls away from the shell every time you remove the gloves. The 1st way this adversely affects the glove's performance is that taking them on and off is a hassle because you have to fight the liner to get it back in each individual finger of the shell. The 2nd problem is that because the liner floats inside the shell, the dexterity of this glove is lacking. So if you're going to keep the gloves on and don't require a great deal of dexterity these are awesome.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice Quality I bought this pair of gloves on the text of them being wind proof. These gloves are far from wind proof, they aren't even wind resistant. I wore them outside on a cold but not freezing day and the wind cut right through and my fingers became cold extremely quick. These gloves are nice quality and look good but not made for cold weather. These were returned immediately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good combination I wanted a set of gloves that was waterproof, moderately warm and not too bulky; a tough combination to find! So far, these gloves fit the bill. They are not too bulky and definitely warm. A good purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and dry. Purchased these for a multi-day backpacking trip to the Porkies. Handled the cold and rain better than expected, hands stayed warm and dry without comprising finger dexterity and interfering with hiking poles. Definitely recommend and will be getting a second pair.
