Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Size of outer shell doesn't match with inner line[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely a well-designed and quality 3-in-1 jacket. The only issue with this jacket is that the size of outer shell does not match with that of the inner liner.
I am 5'7" 70kg. When I put on size S, the inner liner is way too tight around the armpit and chest, while the outer shell fits perfectly. However, size M is the opposite. The inner liner fits perfectly while the outer shell is way too loose.
The whole idea of owning a 3-in-1 jacket is that I can wear each of them separately. Sadly, I had to return it in the end because of the size issue.

Wanted to Love It, But....I chose Marmot for my waterproof rain jacket. The Gore-Tex Paclite was a good selling point that leans the product to a reliable hardshell, so a plus compared to other brands! I bought the Minimalist and then the Minimalist Component (sale prices thru a third party was hard to pass up). I really wanted to love the Minimalist Component, but overall, the Minimalist is a better buy for me, in comparison. Here's why! Both in a size Small, the Minimalist has a much better fit. The Component is a bit longer, the arms are over 2 inches more in circumference, and the hood is cavernous, with the neck/collar area much too tall, and as other reviewers mentioned, the hood and collar when down sits awkwardly. The Component's liner has a great fit and design - would be great on its own! I tried the liner under the Minimalist jacket and they are perfect partners - so it is too bad Marmot felt they had to make the Component's shell so much bigger to accommodate the liner. As such, on its own, the Component is too big. Also, the Component does not have pit zips nor a storm flap over the chest pocket. I will return the Minimalist Component and keep the Minimalist. After all, if I want insulation, I will use my Marmot dropdown fleece or my synthetic insulated jacket underneath. So all in all, Minimalist wins over the Component.

Truly the Best!![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] True to It's description it is completely wind proof and water proof. there is nothing like real GORTEX. the inner liner provides a cozy level of warmth and comfort without bulk. My favorite coat!!

Perfect All-Around Coat[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this coat for my son for Christmas. He lives in northern Italy where it is in the high 30's, 40's all winter, but very damp and often rains. Miserable weather! His transportation is 100% bike, so he needed something that kept him warm, but is waterproof and windproof. The zip-out down jacket would be good on its own, and he can use this jacket in spring and fall without the insulation. It is perfectly what he needed!

Decent jacketI really like this coat although it feels a bit light. But it has kept me warm in temps into the teens. The hood is flimsy and does not stay in place in the wind, but otherwise great in windy conditions.

Versatile and attractive coat[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jacket is warm (Portland rainy winters and upper 30s the last couple weeks and having it be rainproof is fantastic. It warmed up today, so I took out the liner and used just the shell - very versatile. I’m really pleased with the purchase!

PUNY COLD AND WIND, I FEAR YOU NO MORE[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When presented with a choice, you often have to make sacrifices, leading to that ever nagging doubt the lingers, deep within the recesses of your unconscious, awaiting for the first sign of trouble, upon which it bursts forth screaming I TOLD YOU WE SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE NAME BRAND ONE BUT YOUR U HAD TO BE A CHEAPSKATE!!!…sorry lost my train of thought. Well; stay your concerns my friends for here thar be NO COMPROMISE! The Minimalist Component jacket provides defense against two of the greatest enemies the winter has to offer: cold and wind. And not only does the inner jacket insulate you against the harshest cold, you can detach it from the outer shell when the wind goes into hiding with tail tucked between its non-existent legs.
And when the skies open up and bring forth a deluge of moisture, you can use the outer shell by itself and shrug off any and everything those dumb clouds can muster.
No matter the weather, this jacket system has got you covered. In the words of a famous robot “WEAR THIS IF YOU WANT TO LIVE”…or something like that, I’m sure of it.

Great Quality - Poor ServiceLifelong Marmot user for its proven durability but, I have had several issues associated with my purchase of this jacket. Having always worn a large in Marmot, this jacket was much too big. I even used the new size guide tool to make sure I was order the correct size in this jacket, which also suggested a large. However, I couldn't even reach the zipper while wearing the coat.
In attempts to return/exchange the coat, the return page will not recognized my order number, even after trying on multiple web-browsers. I emailed support for assistance but, never heard back. I have also called support on several occasions only to be listening to a half hour of waiting music each time.
