Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Load bearing climbing equipment, like a harness or carabiner, is final sale by law so if you don't like your climbing stuff just hang it on your wall to impress your friends - sorry for being so mean about it.
We want to make extra-sure you realize that you've added a special order item to your cart. These items take a little longer to get to you because we have to order from the manufacturer first. The "Est. Ship Date" is the date we expect items to leave our warehouse... so add your chosen shipping speed to see when it will show up at your door.
The Marmot Men's Mica Jacket is a waterproof jacket for lightweight hiking and traveling. The Mica is 100% seam taped and blocks driving rains while still remaining breathable due to MemBrain Strata fabric. The simple jacket has two hand pockets for snacks or hanging onto your keys and a hood that cinches down so it won't be blown off by a howling wind. Once the weather turns around and the sun shows its face, pack the jacket into it's own pocket and store it away for another rainy day.

Excellent Backpacking Light Jacket[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have three between my son and me. Weight is about 6-7 ounces depending on size M-XL. I have an XL that easily fits over my Marmot lightweight down jacket(13 oz). Excellent when use Bantamweight rain pants (3 oz approximately) as well.

Excellent for those New England Springs[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I each have had this jacket for almost 10 years now and it is my go-to jacket for rainy New England weather. My wife and I have not found any other jacket that performs so perfectly for rainy runs in 35-55 degree weather. Even though this version of the Mica is not insulated, the breathability is phenominal enough to provide the dry warmth needed with only light layers underneath. It's perfect for hiking trails or going shopping in NYC and both of our jackets are as good today as they were when we bought them. I cannot recommend a better light rain jacket.

Great Lightweight JacketUnlike other reviewers, I haven't had to wash this yet, so I can't comment on how durable it will be for that process. From experience, I can say that I had another Marmot rain jacket at one point which did not hold up well in the wash--we'll see with this one. All in all, the packability of this jacket is great given what appears to be a very durable shell. Some of the ultralights are far too light on material for me to believe they would survive even minor abrasions. This stuffs well into any backpack nalgene bottle pocket with room to spare. I used it over a down jacket as both a windbreaker and rain jacket while hiking the Swiss Alps. Doesn't provide much warmth, but definitely cut down on the wind and kept the moisture out. Only areas I'd improve would be to make the jacket slightly longer so the rain doesn't drip onto the wearer's waist--anything bulging out your pant pockets is going to stick out further than this jacket, which is cut very trim. I'm a large in almost all shirts/jackets with room to spare, and this had a fairly tight fit. If I were to do it over again, I'd probably order a size up to accommodate beefier clothing underneath it, as well as allow for the rain to roll off it away from my bottom clothes.

Did not survive light wear in city conditionsSimilar to another review here my membrane separated from the shell of the jacket. Washing was done to spec and in a timely manner. Was used primarily as an emergency rain shell and wind breaker. Absolutely loved the pack-ability and portability of the jacket and would love to replace it with another mica...really my favorite jacket in a long time. I'm told it will not be produced again 'til spring 2016 so I'm stuck looking for another jacket!

Light and comfortableSmall and easy to stow away in your fanbag when walking.
Too small sizes. Surprizeingly cold compared with my other shell jackets.
Things I would like Marmot to change, to reduce weight and volume:
Take away the stiff brim.
Make a smaller hood, without the sizeing flap on the back.
Use same type of sleeve-endings as on the Essence jacket.
Thank You Marmot for being there for us outdoor people.

Very lightweight & packs tiny so it's always with me.I'm a commuter cyclist that's been car-free for about five years. This rain garment lives in one of the bags on my bicycle. It's tiny and lightweight and therefore easy to be prepared for rain. Although I don't like cycling in the rain, sometimes it's unavoidable, and it always makes me a wee bit happy when I need to put it on (and my top half stays dry). It's a bit pricey, but I'm happy I bought it.

Love marmot.I got my boyfriend a marmot she'll for an early c mas present. He love marmot and how dry he stays in them. The only thing about this purchase I was unhappy about is that the large I bought was a little to small even though my boyfriend would normally wear a medium. But over all he loves it and stool wears it even if it's a little snug and the shipping was fast :)
