Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Lowa Hunter GTX exactly what I hoped forI have just started using these boots and really like them. I did a few miles to break in and no blisters. They seem super comfortable. I thought the shank might be too stiff but I’m really glad I went with these.

Durable comfortLightweight and durable, these boots stood up to the tough, diverse conditions of Alaska’s Brooks Range with no problems. Average 40-50 miles a week during the season, alternating between dry and wet conditions.

They are LowasLowa has been my go to boot for over thirty years of hiking, military and just walking about. The Hunter GTX Eco Extremes continue to reinforce my satisfaction with the brand. Of course they fit perfectly (nice having a boot that is actually the shape of your foot) and were functional right out of the box, no break in period required. They have weathered the extreme cold of our upstate NY winter quite comfortably and breezed through a few January thaw days without my feet overheating. I definitely recommend these boots and expect to have them perform well in all seasons.

They have gone POSTAL!!!!Rain, wind, sleet, or snow will not stop these boots from performing superior performance. I live where horizontal freezing rain is common in the winter or 3' of powder snow overnight. I need a boot that real is warm and waterproof, residence whatever the latest word is I don't know...or care, I need performance, the main reason, my feet are critical components of this living machine, if they go then so does my adventures in the wilderness and I couldn't handle that. These are comfortable, premium quality boots that keep my feet warm at temperatures below 20 degrees which doesn't sound like much but it's the temperature my feet start to get cold. Money well spent. What are your feet worth?

Great BootJust got the boots, great fit. Put them on the first day and wore them all day long for two days straight with no discomfort. Have not had the opportunity to use with pack but do not expect any problem.

Quality and ComfortGot them for Christmas Gift. I've worn orthotics for 35 years so my feet are very particular. These boots feel almost broke-in just 1/2 hr wearing them. I've had many pairs of boot in my day and it usually takes me days to couple weeks to get'em broke-in. The construction is superb. I can tell you this im not worried about buying another pair for a long time to come, unless of course one of my family needs them then will invest in a another pair or two.
The Lowa web site photo of this boot shows nylon web that the laces go through in the middle of the boot. Your photo shows a double revited metal lace holder. What do the Lowa Hunter GTX EVO Extreme boots have?

Hey there Jim C, good question! We had someone in our warehouse double check, and we do currently have to newest version of these boot; the same as the stock photo shown on Lowa's site. Was looking to use these boots primarily for our Colorado elk hunt we are planning next fall. Would also use for western North Dakota mule deer. Would you recommend these or Tibet GTX superwarm?

Thanks for the question! The Hunter GTX Evo Extreme would be a suitable boot for hunting in Colorado and North Dakota. This style features 200g of Primaloft insulation, is 10" tall, and is very supportive for rugged terrain and heavy pack loads. The Hunter is plenty warm for cold conditions, is built on a wide last, and will be a wide fitting boot.
The Tibet Superwarm GTX is designed for use in snow and ice conditions. If you anticipate using them in mostly snow and ice, these will provide greater traction than the Hunter GTX. Using the Tibet Superwarm GTX mostly in rock and dirt conditions may lead to faster tread wear. This boot is warmer and uses 400g of Primaloft insulation. It will have more of a standard fit as it is not built on a wide last. Both boots would be suitable for you and it simply depends on what type of conditions you will be in (snow/no snow) and the fit needed. I hope this helps!

Thanks for the question! These are the new Spring 2019 Boots, so hopefully we will be adding more sizes once they are available. Unfortunately, I do not have access to when that will actually happen. So my best advice is to keep checking back as we update the site everynight. Sorry I don't have a more definite answer :(

How warm are these boots?

Hiya jackhammer, thanks for your question! This boot has 200 grams of insulation, which should keep your feet pretty toasty in tough fall and winter temperatures. It probably wouldn't be warm enough for working outside for prolonged hours, then again... it is a boot for hunters. Hope this helps!

I bought some Kuiu merino wool socks which I would plan to wear with these boots. I wear a size 13 shoe. With those socks on my shoes feel too small. Would you recommend going up a size to a 14 with these boots?

Thanks for reaching out to us! You ask one of the eternal questions: "Why am I here?" "What's the meaning of life?"....."Would you recommend going up a size to a 14 with these boots?" While I can only guess for the first two....I can definitely help with the last one! When it comes to shoe sizing with sock thickness, it's not an exact science. Your best bet will be go with what feels right. As you said, the shoes feel too small with a 13....so I'd definitely go up to a 14, mos def. Hope this helps you out! Hugsies.
