Lowa Camino LL vs Hanwag Tatra - better choice for hunting warm thru cool climate? Thanks

Asked by: dpac
Thanks for the question! Based on just the activity each boot was designed for, I would recommend the Tatra for hunting and the Camino for more heavy backpacking. The Camino is supportive and offers great protection from rocks & stones, but they are somewhat heavy at 56.4 oz and the leather lining takes a long time to dry when wet. The Tatra's leather lining offers better climate and moisture management - which is something you will need when hunting in varying climates. In addition, the Vibram outsole is supportive & cushioned with shock absorption in heel. The boots themselves weigh almost have the amount of the Camino at 25.7 oz. Long story short, I would go with the Tatra. If you are still on the fence, I always suggest ordering both styles so you can try on at home. If you decide to do that, please let me know so I can get you a return label. I hope this information helps! Safe hunting!
