Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Super comfortable but sizing is weirdI ordered these based on the measurements listed on moosejaw, my physical measurements, and a pair of pants I already own. So in theory, the size I ordered would have been perfect. However when it arrived it was at LEAST 3 sizes too big. It was huge compared to what the measurements said. I ended up having to place another order and go down 3 sizes to get a pair that fits, and they still have some weird gaping in the back. These don't seem to be made for curvy/muscular women so keep that in mind if you have that body type. I am keeping mine and just going to wear a belt, but I know the gaping would bother some people more than it does me. Besides the sizing info being wildly wrong, and the gaping, the pants are a great material and feel like they will be comfortable for long hikes - which was ultimately my main goal. So I like them a lot but the experience was a little frustrating.

Excellent Quality but Inaccurate Sizing ChartI am mystified by the size chart for these. I got excited because the 6 said 28" waist and 41" inch hips, which made me think it would be perfect for an hourglass figure. But these have a much bigger waist gap than my Gap jeans, which say size 6 is 28" waist and 38" hips. They also seem to be made for someone with a flat butt; the waistband digs into my front but gets pulled down at the back. I am 5'9", 145 lbs, 38/28/40, and wear Gap 28/6 long, Madewell 27 tall curvy. The 32" length is perfect; the pants are flattering; the fabric seems sturdy though slightly scratchy; the pockets are deep and wonderful. I just have to decide if I want to have them taken in at the waist so I don't have to constantly pull them up or look for a different brand that's made for more shapely women.

They have enforcements in the butt area for being able to sit down without worrying about things bleeding through. also snaps on the bottom making them easy to adjust into hiking books

Good quality, runs big.These are nice pants, but they run big. Since they are not true to size, very difficult for online ordering - I recommend you try before you buy. I had to ship mine back for a return. I then bought another size and ended up giving that to my daughter.

HOW to MEASURE • Before we start with the measuring, lay down the pants on a flat hard surface and smooth out any wrinkles. Once that is done, follow the below steps:
WAIST: For measuring the waist first button the pants up. Next spread the pants flat on the surface, and remove any fullness and wrinkles from it.
FRONT RISE: With the pants buttoned up, spread the pants on the floor or table; next remove all wrinkles, and measure this region by starting from crotch seam spot to the spot of the waistband.
HIP: Measure across the hip area, this is in most cases 1 1/2 inches below the zipper.
THIGH: Starting at the crotch seam and ending 1-2 inches below the hip area.
LENGTH: With the pants buttoned up, spread the pants on a table, floor or any other flat surface, with outseams on both corners. After removing all wrinkles and any fullness, measure the length from the top of the waistband.
KNEE:Next remove any wrinkles and fullness if present. Measure across the knee area.
INSEAM: Having the pants buttoned up, spread the pants on a surface flat. Now measure the inseam gap from the crotch, at the spot where the front and back seams meet, exactly where, depends on the length you desire ultimately.
LEG OPENING: Now in the last step follow the same pattern as the previous steps, that is spread the pants on a flat surface e.g. table or floor. After removing any fullness or wrinkles, start measurement beginning from one side of the leg opening to the other side of leg opening.
TIPS FOR TAKING MEASUREMENTS • Take all measurements lying flat. Do this on a clean floor or table. Hanging clothes can stretch as you measure and if you have them on a dress model of a different size this can skew your measurement.
• Use a flexible tape measure at least 36" long. Don't try to take clothes measurements with a standard 12" ruler you'll end up with an inaccurate measurement. If you have no tape measurement handy and this is somewhat of an emergency, you can always download a printable measuring online.
• Measure twice! If you don't get the same measurement both times try again.
• Record measurement to the nearest ¬ inch. Anything more specific is irrelevant but remember lying flat measurements are generally doubled (e.g. lying flat waist of 12.5" can be understood as a 25" waist) so a ¬ inch could make a difference.
