Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Great shoeThese are my favorite shoes for technical and slabby climbs. The soft sole allows you to smear like a champ. These do not edge fantastically (they're soft, duh!), but considering how soft they are, they do pretty well in the edging department. Comfy, awesome shoe. Highly recommend

awesome climbing shoe!I bought these for my daughter, who is an avid climber. She wanted a shoe that could be used both indoors and out, and these seem to fit the bill. I guess they're as comfortable as a climbing shoe can be!

Good toe!Bought this about a month ago and so far so good! The toe is really great for small holds and seems pretty secure. Matched my street shoe size and it needed sometime to break in but now fits good.

Sweet shoesI have a narrow foot and heel. This fits very well, there is a tiny space on my arch. I prefer a very aggressive fit. Toe hooks well, rubber seems solid, heel is a tad bulkier than I'm used to but gets the job done.
I'm normally 38.5 street shoe, bought these in a 37.0. Scarpa Dragos LV 38.5 Scarpa Furia S, 38.0, Tenaya Mastia 37.5, Tenaya Mundaka 38.0

Magic grippy gloves for your feetOk these are my favorite shoes so far. I was a hard Otaki fan and found these too aggressive and tight at first. Just give them a couple of weeks, once they break in they’re like second skin. A ver grippy skin. Like many Sportiva models, they have deep heels, so not great if you have small heels. They also have a pronounced downturn that won’t flatten, so if you don’t have a generous arch they might not work for you. I’ve used them at the gym and outside, on overhang and slab, and they work marvels. They’re also great for cracks given the rubber on top. Just an awesome all around shoe that will make you super confident on all kinds of footholds!

Great Fit, Versatile ShoeI am an intermediate boulderer (v5/v6) and climb indoors about 2-3 times a week. These shoes allow me to do a variety of routes with a level of comfort that I haven't previously had. They're also pretty durable. Half size down from my street shoe worked well for me.

Better than solutions?Really enjoying these shoe so far. Great both in the gym and outdoors. They’re very soft, so not great for standing on tiny nubbins for long periods, but I like the softness of the heel relative to the solution’s. They size similar to the solution, and the women’s works well for a low-volume men’s foot.

Great shoe, but it’s just not the solutionI’m trying shoes other than Solutions because I’m fed up with the strap always breaking. Naturally, I wanted to try other sportiva shoes, and opted for the womens’ skwama (lower volume because heel cup fit is a key consideration for me). After a trip to Red Rocks and many gym sessions, I can conclude that it just can’t quite measure up to the standard the Solutions have set. My biggest qualms with the Skwama include:
The upper toe rubber is lacking - after a month of use it’s already beginning to peel back and separate from the leather shoe upper. There isn’t as much of it, or it isn’t as thick as other shoes, and you can feel the difference.
It’s not as aggressive as the Solution - the hard rubber plate in the sole doesn’t extend through the mid foot for one, which makes toeing into things ever so slightly more strenuous. The drop angle of the toe is also milder than on the Solution.
I get that the Skwama is more of a comp shoe intended for dynamic movements and landings… I just wish they’d make solutions with thicker straps and don’t know who to blame ;(
All around a great shoe for it’s purpose.

NOTES and FIT INFO La Sportiva footwear is built and offered on European half sizes, which are smaller increments than US half sizes. This gives them four extra sizes per size run, and ultimately gives you a better fit.
As a general rule soft shoes like climbing shoes require a tighter fit, or about two to three sizes smaller than your street shoe size.
La Sportiva recommends you fit your trad climbing shoes one to two sizes under your street shoe size.
La Sportiva offers a lot of lasts, and each offers a different fit and feel. Remember to factor in potential stretching.
Unlined slip-lasted shoes tend to stretch a bit more than lined shoes, or about one full size.
Lined shoes stretch about a half size.
