Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Heel popping goodnessI've owned multiple pairs of Nepal Cubes simply because they are the only women's mountaineering boot on the market. It is still difficult to fine my right size (37.5), so I ended up with a pair of 38s (after slipping around in 39s for 2 years and losing multiple toenails to a 37). Overall the boot works and is durable, as I've been using my current pair for the last 4 years. My biggest gripe is that no matter what modifications I make, I can't seem to get it so my heel isn't sliding around and popping out every time I use my front points. I wish they had a double version of this boot with a boa system so I could make sure my shoelaces stay tight through the whole climb. I also wish they were warmer, as my feet inevitably go numb every time I'm out. At the end of the day, I guess I should be thankful there is one women's option, but this is a pretty basic boot and doesn't offer as much warmth or security as I want.

Great Mountaineering Boot!I bought these for an intro to mountaineering course in which they were worn on mostly snow and ice for 4 days. Never got wet inside from outside sources (just from my sweaty feet lol) and if you take the insert out at night to dry, you are pretty good and set for the next day. Wore with Petzl crampons and summited Mount Baker with no problems. They are a heavier boot than I’m used to but I got used to it’s weight quickly. If I had to describe in one word it would be sturdy. Hope this helps.

So far so goodI purchased these for Island Peak 2022 so cannot give a full review yet however I did some training in them and they got comfortable fairly quick, wore them for a 6 hour day of climbing/hiking right out of the box and no blisters, definitely half size up in these

Excellent Ice Climbing BootI purchased these boots for a summer job as an ice climbing guide on a glacier in Alaska, and they never failed to impress me. I never worried about the waterproofing failing, and the full shank design with heel and toe bail worked well with any pair of crampons for an excellent climbing experience. I would choose a lighter shoe for extended glacier trekking, but for climbing, these win!
LA SPORTIVA FIT NOTES La Sportiva shoes are built on European half sizes which are smaller increments than US half sizes. This gives us four extra sizes per size run, which gives you a better fit! MORE SIZE = BETTER FIT!
To use our size chart to fit mountain boots, find your American size then go across to your European size, and then add one half size. When trying on boots make sure to bring the socks you would normally wear and any orthotics or custom footbeds you use. Another note: our shoes are handmade, and you can experience minor variations in sizing from pair to pair in a given size. What you're looking for is the size that holds your toes ever so slightly away from the front of the boot while the lacing system is snug across the top of your arch. To check the length, you should be able to slip one finger behind your heel when you are standing up with the boot unlaced and your toes touching the front. The fit across the top of your arch is the single most important factor. If the lacing system here does not hold your foot in place, the boot will not be stable on your foot while you walk. If the boot is too short, your toes will get smashed walking down hill. Too long and your heel will slide up and down and give you blisters. Be patient, ask questions and make sure you've got the right size and the right fit and the right boot before you hit the trail.
HERE ARE A FEW TIPS TO MAKE SURE YOUR NEW BOOTS FIT PROPERLY:
•Try your boots on with the socks you intend to wear in the field. •Try them on later in the day since feet are prone to swell slightly as a day progresses. •Wear them only indoors until you are confident about the fit. •Your foot should feel snug (not tight) from the arch back into the heel pocket with just a minimum lift as you walk. If your heel lifts make sure the lacing is snug and not too loose. •Your toes should not touch the front of the boot, but when you kick the toe into the floor, you should know where the front of the boot is. You want just enough room to wiggle your toes. •If your toes or sides of your feet feel squished, most likely the width is too narrow. •If your toes touch the front of the boot, most likely it is too short and you need the next half size up. •Retain all original packaging which came with the boots until you are sure that you are happy with your purchase.
