Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid ball around shoe. I have had several pairs of solutions and they are great shoes. The only weakness I can see is the heel hooking. They size a little strange I wear a 9.5 street shoe and 8 solutions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from La Spotiva Solutions Still in the break in period, but after finally finding the correct size, I was able to conquer a bouldering route at my rock gym that I’ve been working on for 4 weeks. Got it on the first try. Now, I’m not saying the shoes are magical, I was getting the route figured out, but they certainly HELPED:))!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from #1 choice for 4+ years For the past 4 years, I have bought these shoes. They are perfect for bouldering and even though they are aggressive, they are still comfortable! The heel is a heel hooker's dream and even though I've found the rubber to wear out a little fast, they are still the best choice I've found in the 6 years I have been climbing. They also have a women's version.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite technical shoe! I’ll stick to my TC Pro’s if I’m running laps on an auto belay for cardio. But when it’s starts to get steep and technical, the Solutions can’t be touched. Running roof routes, these are amazing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heel like a pickaxe I originally bought these as an alternate pair when my Vapor Vs had to be resoled. I went with the tightest comfortable size, and they stretched a little bit and now fit quite well. These aren't "all-day-comfort" shoes. They do, however, perform exceptionally well at the gym. I've stuck heels with these that I never expected. Nailing optimal toe placement takes some getting used to if you're used to a different shape, but I don't think it's a bad thing, just different. Overall I'm very happy about this item and I expect it to become my primary indoor shoe. As for fit, I ended up with 1.5cm smaller size than my other shoes, but I also probably went for a tighter fit this time around. I'd say try a few sizes at the gym if you can.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very powerful shoe Got this shoe recently, and I love it so far. I’ve only had the opportunity to use it indoors so far, but I know that it’ll be great when I get the chance to use it on a bouldering trip in January or Februrary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best shoe I've ever owned These shoes are great for sticking to small features and protect your toes perfectly. My only gripe with them is that for me to have a good fit for my toes, my heels are squeezed pretty tightly to the point that I have blood blisters on my heels. Completely worth it though, these shoes eliminate the need for careful foot placement, since the rubber and aggressive edge allows you to stick to everything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bouldering shoes ever! My daughter loves these shoes for bouldering. She has gone through at least 10 pairs over the years. They are perfect for anyone who wants an aggressive bouldering shoe that is reasonably durable.

When will more sizes be available? Particularly size 40.

Hey,Danny! Our inventory is always growing and shrinking. It's like watching stock tickers or sports or my mood swings - you just never know what the day will bring! I always say, check in day after day and you might find exactly what you are looking for (or something you didn't know you needed)

La Sportiva footwear is built and offered on European half sizes, which are smaller increments than US half sizes. This gives them four extra sizes per size run, and ultimately gives you a better fit.

Please review La Sportiva's size conversion chart above to help determine your ideal size. Below you will find additional information about how to fit and break in the different styles of La Sportiva footwear, which will also help guide you to the correct size.

• As a general rule soft shoes like climbing shoes require a tighter fit, or about two to three sizes smaller than your street shoe size.
• La Sportiva recommends you fit your trad climbing shoes one to two sizes under your street shoe size.
• La Sportiva offers a lot of lasts, and each offers a different fit and feel. Remember to factor in potential stretching.
• Unlined slip-lasted shoes tend to stretch a bit more than lined shoes, or about one full size.
• Lined shoes stretch about a half size.

• PERFORMANCE FIT - offers a high performance fit and a downturned last.
• TECH FIT - a more technical fit and a last with neutral profile.
• COMFORT FIT - a comfortable fit and a last with more volume and a neutral profile.

• Find your US Size in the guide above, then find the Euro Size conversion and add one half size.
• The ideal size holds your toes ever so slightly away from the front of the boot while the lacing system is snug across the top of your arch.
• If you can try to boots on beforehand, make sure you wear the same size and weight socks you would typically wear with the boots, and any orthotics or custom footbeds you use.
• It is ideal to fit boots later in the day since feet are prone to swell slightly as a day progresses.
• Wear your boots indoors only until you are confident about the fit.
• Your foot should feel snug (not tight) from the arch back into the heel pocket with just a minimum lift as you walk. If your heel lifts make sure the lacing is snug and not too loose.
• Your toes should NOT touch the front of the boot, but when you kick the toe into the floor, you should know where the front of the boot is. You want just enough room to wiggle your toes.
• If your toes or sides of your feet feel squished, most likely the width is too narrow and the boot will not work for you.
• If your toes touch the front of the boot, most likely it is too short and you need the next half size up.
• Make sure to keep all original packaging that came with your boots until you are sure that you are happy with your purchase.
